Sorry, i am back with problem again !!
1. Whenevr i am transferring the files from pc to computer/computer to pc, suddenly the phone disconnects, although the cable is connected it will be disconnected, and ask me again to tap on CONNECT USB STORAGE in phone.
2. I cannot take a backup of my phone in Kies (contacts, msgs etc)
3. Kies say, Your device does not not support updating from kies
4. yesterday i did a Wipe data from CWM, and from then Play Store is not opening, it just ask to add a/c and i did it, then says COnnection Timed Out (wifi)
Note;1. my phone is not rooted, i am using Neo ROM.
2. i have tried it in different PC, still the phone disconnects and ask me to connect it again
3. i had the same problem with 8 gb card, i thought it was card problem, but now i have 32gb, its still same

Yes.....even i have d same problem while transferring huge files on my 8gb card...it started to appear over nite..
what can you do
1. Try to take CWM backup...
2. try to change ur data cable
3. try to copy files on internal storage...and see if it disconnects ??
coz whenever i copy on my internal storage..it doesnt disconnects...
And for Kies update Problem, You have used Indian CSC with that of ZSLE5/ZSLE6. Kies detects phone for upgrade only with the Stock combination of PDA, PHONE and CSC and not with different combinations, If you go back to Stock Combination, Kies should detect phone for upgrade without any fuss(PS: Why do you need Kies to update at all? Use ROM from Sampro.pl or samsung-updates.com and flash using ODIN)
Even I have this usb disconnection problem sometimes, I thought my usb port was loose since if I don't touch my phone during transfer, it never disconnects.

you can still copy contacts from your contacts app..!!
I had similar problem with big files transfer when I used SGR but only on my old PC that is running Vista. No problems on mac and new PCs that run Win7.
I guess maybe it was something wrong with USB port.

flash neo rom and flash stock kernel over it, u will have unrooted neo rom

in ur problem laptops config doesnt matters, old p3 and latest 3rd gen i5 will work in usb transfers
well i think there could be issue with ur usb cable or usb socket of phone. better install a stock rom and test. if still there is issue of usb disconnection i would suggest u to visit SSC.

[UPDATE] Problem Solved, i flashed to stock rom then flashed Neo Rom again, i dont know what the hell was wrong with the ROM or my SGR

I have been using LG Optimus One P500 for 6 months now. My phone is not being detected by my PC. Everything was fine till yesterday...
I am on MikOS CM7 6.5.7 with Franco's Kernel 19.2 BFS+ZRAM. I have Windows 7 Ultimate on my desktop.
Today, when I connected it, it just wouldn't detect the phone. The phone is charging fine via USB... just the PC cannot detect it. There is no notification to connect as mass storage, there is no chime in my computer when I attach the cable...
I tried everything... uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, changing cable, changing PC... but nothing has worked...
Please help.
I am worried because now I won't be able to downgrade and unroot in order to get warranty...!

Try flashing cm7 v6.6.1, it may be a bug on v6.5.7

Tried that too... didn't work... DIfferent USB ports, different cables, different laptops... nothing is working. Could it be a hardware issue? The phone is charging fine though...

Wiped Cache, Dalvik Cache, Battery Stats... Maybe I need to format the SD Card, clean System folder and then reinstall everything... If still doesn't work, then LG service center would be the last resort. I wonder how I might be able to go back to stock ROM for servicing... KDZ won't work without USB access...

LGE virtual modem was disabled. Its been like that since March 2011 when I got this phone... It stopped detecting the phone suddenly... It worked perfectly fine all these months.
The phone can charge without any problems through the USB cable. The problem is I cannot access the SD card from my PC to transfer music or pics, to backup data... Cannot use ADB or LGMDP Tool or KDZ tool...

wipe data/factory reset, format system, mount system, wipe cache, dalvik and batt stats, it must be HELPFULL..
The last time I trashed my SD card the symptoms were pretty similar... in particular, you won't get any notifications on the desktop or your phone if the SD card is not mounted correctly, so try formatting...

I replaced the SD card with another spare card I had with me and tried again... Still didn't work...
Just recently had this problem and it was for me windows
Try using a earlier restore point or reinstall windows (that's what fixed it for me )

Having the same problerm on stock rom v2.2, tried all the methods suggested here, no luck. When the cable is connected, the phone shows "charging", and in Setting/Wireless & network//Tethering & portable hostpot, it shows USB is connected and I can enable/disable usb tethering. USB debug mod is on, massive storage is off.

I have exactly same problem phone is charging but not detect by any pc then i go to service centre they replaced my PCB.at that time my phone is rooted and custom recovery install.when he check my phone and see custom recovery install i just say i don't know what is this i just install a app from market and they believe me changed my PCB.you should flash stock rom available in zip format and go to service centre.

My phone is a Telus prepaid. Should I go to Telus Service Center or LG's Service Center? I have the phone unlocked, and I am no longer using Telus. Would that be a problem? It is running the stock 2.2 rom. I have it rooted, but can easily unroot.

i had USB problem before.Its all because of bad PCB.Flash stock unrooted stock recovery and then go to service centre.
If your phone is in warranty,they will do it free of charge
Have you tried turning off USB debugging in setting > applications > development....worked for me.

I today rooted my Android Galaxy SL 19003 2.3.6 DDKP2 via Odin! but after sometime when I tried to copy something in sd card then USB was not workin as I was not able to show the mobile drive(the drive which shows the SD Card in My Computer) which comes... and also Kies was not workin!

KIES is useless once rooted or flashed to any FW of other region.
For the use of Kies, Use a FW of your region D
And, KIES is devil. Personal Suggestion-> DONT USE IT!!!!
i am in trouble guys..i have been using miui since v4..whenever i wanted to revert to stock it was too hard to connect it to PC(windows 7) via usb. i tried 10-15 times.plugged unplugged plugged unplugged and at least i managed to connect and flash via odin...but yesterday i downloaded miui v10,1 and flashed.everything was fine.but the was too hot because of vurrut v4.. i flashed ganesh uc port for miui(kernel).and rebooted.but phone cant pass i9003 galaxy scl logo. and i cant access CWM..but i can enter download mode. the Problem is that i cant connect via usb to pc..everytime Your device is not recognised..even i download usb drivers for samsung. i even tried android sdk google revision usb pack 4 ..cant connect.what to do?
You mean the button combination can't boot into recovery?

Install the latest Samsung USB Drivers. And you should plug in the usb cable directly to pc and not on the USB extension. Try this link. They are compatible with I9003

Look for the backup app in Tools. There you can restore your system.

for now sir i"ve been using go sms pro and not the stock messaging app in miui and I must say sending msgs is a breeze.. Thanks anyway!
Problem solved. Problem was the Usb cable itself.after changing everything worked.

Hi,
Just go to SwapSD and select 'Swap'. This will mount the sdcard. This has got nothing to do with the USB cable or the drivers. Enjoy!
hello guys,
i have 2 Problems with my galaxy R.
My mobilephone doesn't load the battery when i plug in the charger. If i shut down the phone and connect the charger, the phone goes on and the empty battery symbol is drawn an the screen and the refresh logo of the battery is shown. But after 1-2 second's the screen is black and the phone turn off, this repeats the whole time.
When i turn on the phone, it starts without problems, when i plug in the charger it does nothing. I tryed to plug in the charger during the night, and the pho73ne loadet from 59% to 73%.
I have the Galaxy R with 3 Branding (Firmware, which was installed, when i get my galaxy R), but i have rooted the phone and have clockworkMod 4.xxx.
Now, i wanted to flash the firmware again (for warranty, to delete root and clockworkmod), but i cannot connect my phone to the pc. When i plug in the usc cable, my notebook don't recognize my phone and the phone does nothing.
My question now is, how can i remove root and clockworkmod, so that i can give the phone to the shop for warranty?
I hope you have ideas for me, and sorry for my bad english, i'm from Austria

I tried this, but the phone only shows "Warning. A Custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications. If you want............. Volume up: Continue, Volume down: Cancel (restart phone)
The PC's doesn't do anything while connected via usb cable with the phone
(1) To unroot flash unroot.zip via CWM
(2) To remove CWM recovery, flash stock_recovery.zip via CWM

Hey buddy! This is what exactly happened with me! This is a physical damage. So there's nothing you can do by flashing other ROMs or stock ROMs or so....

I've explained everything about my case and how I was able to revert back to my country's stock ROM, unroot the phone and revert back to stock recovery.
Then I gave my phone for repair to SSC and they told me that it's a physical damage. They changed the whole charging port of my phone. Took 3-4 days though. Depends on availability of that part.
And since my phone was in warranty and SSC guys are dumb, I got it done for FREE!!

Hi buddy, I appreciate that you haven't started a new thread. Could you tell me which language you know ? I am asking because then I could understand your issue clearly.
If you would have searched a bit you would have surely got the answer in the FAQ's post (in the newbie guide thread), check this out:

First of all check if you have the latest Samsung Kies software installed as it also installs the latest Samsung USB drivers along with it which are required to connect your device to the PC. If they are installed & still your PC doesn't detect the device then you probably have corrupted drivers. To resolve this follow these steps: Uninstall Samsung Kies / Samsung USB drivers currently installed => Restart your PC => Reinstall Samsung Kies / Samsung USB drivers.
Q. I can't charge my device & my device is not being detected after connecting to my PC & Odin is not detecting my device ! What to do?
(The solution is valid only if you are experiencing all of the above conditions simultaneously)

I flashed paranoid custom rom 2.53..but realize wifi didnt work hence i went to clear and reflash 2.50 everything works fine except usb debugging.
Whenever i try usb debugging to my laptop, i see a yellow caution under drivers... and then i tried uninstalling and reconnecting and re enabling the USB debugging under development in my tab 7.7
Could it be i didnt tick usb Debugging mode when flashing the rom??

I flashed paranoid custom rom 2.53..but realize wifi didnt work hence i went to clear and reflash 2.50 everything works fine except usb debugging.
Whenever i try usb debugging to my laptop, i see a yellow caution under drivers... and then i tried uninstalling and reconnecting and re enabling the USB debugging under development in my tab 7.7
Could it be i didnt tick usb Debugging mode when flashing the rom??
ANy suggestions?

for usb look at this topic and use this driver.
usb debugging was required for kies also.

I have kies could use it but now kies doesn't detect anythingr

uninstall everything.
and you have to follow the instruction.
. Uninstall any previous instance of Kies/USB driver
2. Download the latest Kies, specific to your S3.
3. Download Samsung USB drivers 1.4.6.0 (I've tried newer versions but they all failed)
4. REBOOT
5. Disconnect from internet (VERY IMPORTANT!!! - forcing Windows to install local drivers ONLY)
6. With the phone disconnected, install Kies + USB drivers downloaded in steps 2,3
7. Connect the phone and let Windows install the drivers.
8. Reestablish the internet connection.

this worked for me on cyanogenMod.
it was giving me hw id is messing. and this solved it.

can you access the data on the tablet and sd card from the computer?
try cm 10 or 10.1 both are cool

I can access data on the tablet sd too but I cant detect anything on the computer even the sd card nothing is shown... weird..
hmm so the only way i see to get back the USB working is go back to Stock rom?? erm I tried connecting to ODIN nothing is detected.
How to i get back to stock using the nandroid backup i made earlier... anyone?

setup latest kies with latest drivers.
go to download mode, download is not related to enabling usb dubugging from settings (it should be detected in odin normally)
first wipe the data and factory reset in twrp, or cwm first to avoid super brick bug.
flash the downloaded rom as the tutorial steps normally.
