Hey everyone, i'm thinking seriously about getting one (or maybe two) Sensation series phones:
Sensation
Sensation 4G
Sensation XE
Sensation XL
Approximately how much should i be looking to pay for a used one? I'd ideally like one in excellent condition with no scratches, nicks etc on the phone at all but i'd probably settle for one with a perfect screen but a few minor imperfections on the casing.

I paid 280 for mine 8 months back. Just a heads up though, the XL uses an older S2 Snapdragon, aka the Scorpion processor. It's a pretty old processor and I wouldn't recommend getting a phone with one nowadays.
I just bought my HTC Sensation 4G from craigslist. They typically run around $250 with minor imperfections, sometimes they might be mint if you're lucky. For one that's completely perfect with the box and everything, you're probably looking at $300. I definitely wouldn't pay more than $300 for one.
I paid $260 for mine. The guy said it has had a screen protector and been in a case since day one. I found that the phone does have some nicks on it, probably from the case itself. It came with a bunch of extras though, like an Anker 1900 mAh extended battery, 16 GB microSD card, car charger, case + screen protector, and the original box with everything.

I paid 150$ local mint condition but on the market place I see them going 220-250 if it's in your budget might as well grab a galaxy nexus

I actually managed to get mine for $200 on ebay. It had some scratches and nicks on the housing, but that was about it. He threw in a 8gb sd card too.

If the OP happens to get full upgrade on the Pyramid, then the scales are pretty balanced. The Pyramid would be worth more, but in terms of what price the OP actually pays for it, it won't be too far off. Just sayin.
Edit: although for this scenario to work, the OP would have to be semi-retarded to trade a brand new Pyramid for a used MT4G...

I would have done it but $300... no. I bought this unsubsidized for a bit over $500, and I like profits so $860 would be nice Even though it's Supremely permarooted, unlocked and on a custom ROM with sexy battery life, no one in their right mind woula pay so much...

Straight swap is not a good idea! Pre 3 seems to sell for about £100 on ebay whereas the desire s seems to sell for about double that.
Secondly, webOS is dead! While I admit that it's a beautiful OS and it's becoming open source, there is still a lot of work needed to be done. However, if you are content on getting the pre3, a straight swap just wouldn't cut it for me. I would need cash with the pre3 because you would be losing quite a bit of money

Just thought I'd share this link with anyone in the market for a white battery cover. I believe this is the cover of the Sensation XE with the Beats logo and it's the cheapest I've seen online since Jan-Feb. I ordered one yesterday for $26.59 and I noticed that the price is up at $27.99 today so grab one before it goes any higher!

So I just checked my shipment details and the package was processed yesterday through the sorting facility here in Los Angeles. Took less than a week for it to arrive in the US. I'm assuming I'll receive delivery within the next couple of days. Though probably not tomorrow since it's a holiday.

These covers are compatible with both sensation and xe right? Anyone tested on a sensation? Any problems with 3g,wifi,gps signals etc.? And how's the quality of the material?
I just got mines a few days ago.. Not saying i don't like it.. I mean, it looks lovely and all, but still..for some reason the feeling of premiere quality product is just gone..I mean, its basically plastic with paint on it.. It fell one time and basically just cracked..>.<

About one month ago I bought the HTC one s from bell for $100 on a new 3 year contract. This was a big mistake as I should have waited for the SG3. I am thinking about trading my one s on a site to try and get the SG3. Would trading my one s with an otter box case + $100 for a used SG3 be a fair trade? Is that too little or too much? My one a is not perfect. There is one nick in the metal on the top. Also is there a specific SG3 that I would need to work on the bell network.

This seems like a very good deal if the GS3 is near mint. When I was looking for my GS3 I was offering my near mint white nexus + $150 cash
Who is it a really good deal for? I'm assuming for the guy with the GS3. The thing is unfortunately my phone isn't mint. There is one large nick at the top, and a bunch of really small ones around the micro USB port. How long did it take for someone to accept your deal?

Yeh it is a good price. I did consider getting one ages ago when they were about £50.
Even now other places are still selling them at about £40+.

It's for 4G only? If i got European version of Sensation will it be ok? I wanted to buy other cases, like for galaxy s, but I see there is internetional version and 4G. Can anyone help?

Sensation 4G is the same as normal Sensation/XE but with 4G radio inside so will work for any Sensation/XE/4G.

Ordered one for like $14.95 from Canada. Hopefully it actually shows up! Never heard of this company before and didn't even research them before buying... Which I almost never do, but at a penny plus shipping I doubt the cases will be in stock for long.
Never heard of it, but at $5 shipped, I ordered one. Essentially this would doubles available power/battery based on the OEM battery mAh. I can see using it on road trips/airports when charging is not always convenient.

Maybe because you're outside US, if you really are. I think they don't ship to many countries outside US. They don't ship to Brazil also.
