[Q] WiFi not starting! - HTC Sensation

I got a "little" problem over here. I successfully installed ViperS 1.0.1 ROM with data restore from my previous ROM (PKMN 5.1) and now my WiFi won't turn on. It's stuck at "Turning On WiFi" and I'm not able to turn it off. I've tried to lift the pins above the camera. That caused me another error (It showed me an "error" message after turning it on). After following this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1563336), I'm back at where I began, with the stuck WiFi button. It still won't connect. Does anybody have a solution?
Please don't post if you have the same problem if you don't have the solution. It will only confuse me. :S

I fixed it! I just flashed the ROM againg without any wipe!!!! It must be a bug under the installation!!!

[Q] ICS 4.0.3 enabling WiFi bug

Couple days ago I got Ainol Advanced II with 4.0.1 firmware.
I flashed clean 4.0.3, but I got problem with Wi-Fi.
When I try enable it appears "Turning Wi-Fi on" message and that's all. No networks.
When I press "Scan" nothing happens. I had fully working Wi-Fi with 4.0.1 firmware.
I read 4.0.3 has such WiFi problems on Galasy S and some HTC.
Please see video: youtube.com/watch?v=th0xwM1WGZA
Could somebody helps ?
I found next thread, HTC users have same problem:

Try a full wipe, airplain mode on and off.
Greets!
This worked for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21406675.
Edit: though seems its not a permanent fix. If wifi is disabled for some time it cant be enabled. Have to put in airplane mode and back + set country code in wifix manager again.

[Q] Stuck at "Update Available" screen.

Hello, tried finding a thread with the same issue but was not able to.
I did my first flash to a custom and the ROM flash went without any issues.
(TrickDroid for the S4 ROM)
Installation went fine, phone started up and I started setting up the accounts and WiFi.
Then when those steps were done the "update is available" screen came up.
There I have to choose data connection, WiFi only or any connection with the OK button at the bottom.
Well nothing happens when clicking the OK button and same result choosing either of the two choices.
Update available screen is the first thing I see after each reboot.
Done this update a few times before when phone has been reset due to updates and then it has worked just fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
EDIT: I reinstalled Trickdroid and removed my simcard before booting.. That way I got past the system update screen and am now able to use the phone.
Also disabled auto update and hopefully will not get stuck at that screen again.

(fix)I337M 4.3 WiFi not turning on

Okaaaay... I am going to share my story because it ended up fixing my WiFi issue and I have read some similar issues. So after being rooted on 4.2 I broke it with the OTA 4.3 I wanted to check it out. I then used chainfire to root again. I blacked out hangouts, I installed 4.4 launcher, and xposed framework with 3 modules. I noticed that when I toggled my WiFi on it would hang, it would get stuck on "turning on...:" sometimes it would turn on, and I would enter my password, then it would hang right after I pressed connect then eventually it connected. If I restarted my phone, turned off the WiFi or left the area.. I would go through the same issues. When I pressed the toggle it would not show up as green to display on or grey to display off. It was a dark green trying to turn on.
My recovery is TWRP. This is what I did to try and solve it. I took off all the xposed modules. Nothing (as suspected), I did a factory reset.. it did not work. I tried *#0011# and pressed the menu button and selected wifi and turned off wifi power save. That did nothing.
I finally made the decision to break root put everything back to stock in case I need to take it back. Instead of Odin I thought I would give Kies 3 a try. I downloaded Kies 3, plugged in my phone and selected Tools>Firmware upgrade and initialization. It went through its motion.. I noticed that KNOX went back to 0x1 it booted up. Wifi worked.. perfectly! I also had all my apps still installed and didn't lose texting or have to put in my accounts again.
I am going to re root it and see if it recreates the problem.. Hopefully not. I'll advise.
**Update** Re-rooted..using chainfire's method WiFi works great..

WiFi 'Turning On...' Issue

Hello all,
I am having a REALLY annoying issue on my Z5. The WiFi on the phone will not turn on. I press the toggle from the quick settings in the notification panel and nothing happens. I go into the settings to turn it on and it just says 'Turning on...' forever. I am on 6.0.1 and firmware 32.2.A.0.305. I am having this problem without root on a clean system and I am also having the problem with root and Androplus kernel. Also happening with stock kernel aswell. I have attached a zip file with a video of the problem (ignore the date of the video. I have had the problem for months and have been trying to fix it.)
Any help?
Thanks!
Sometime I have this issue, too. After a reboot everything works fine.

Wi-Fi is turning on...

Hello everyone!
I have Nexus 5 on Android 6.0.1 and very strange problem whit Wi-Fi.
The icon for Wi-Fi is grey and strikethrough, even when i try to push it and turn on, there is noting. I open wifi menu from settings and there is a inscription "Wi-Fi is turning on..." infinitely loading and waiting.... Same issue whith bluetooth...
I tried everything... recovery, factory reset, change settings (but settings is stuck too and wont change). Now i try to do factory reset for 10 or 15 thime but i can't continue with instalation because my wifi wont turn on.
Am not joke I HAVE TRY EVERYTHING... I read many forums, but there is noting to fix this issue. Please don't tell me to restart the phone or recovery the phone or tunr on/of airplane mode or uninstal aplication because i tried EVERYTHING.... I need answer from google, from somebody skilled or experiensed for this...
Sorry for my english. Please help me!
