How do I disable the haptoc feedback from the HTC Calculator Application? I already have haptoc feedback off yet it vibrates still.

Unless the app is recompiled, there is no way to change it. It is very annoying.

Get the free version of RealCalc from the play store, fantastic calculator and has a lot of features. I find myself needing its conversion features a lot, and you can turn the vibrate off. There's a paid version too which ends up giving you a crazy amount of features, which I bought purely to support the devs.

I have an unrootetd S5, just donwloaded the real calc app, but don't see an option to disable vibrations. Where is this done?

You dug up a two year old thread for that question? It's right in the settings, you can't miss it.

Hello guys!
The Screen On application was a success and we thought it could be a great idea to expand the abilities of this application. We developed a new application called App Auto Settings, that works exactly as the Screen On application but let's you take control not only of the screen, but of WiFi, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, GPS and volume!
We have tested the app in as many devices as we could and it works fine, but please try it and report any bugs, suggestions or ideas, we cannot test it in all those mobile phones...
AppAutoSettings @ Android Market
Thx for share.
Not seeing option for GPS on SGSII.

Edit: 20/11/2011
So is this a beta limitation? or a limitation of GB where programs can not call for GPS on without user request like Tasker?
well, that's my bad...
at first, we wanted to take control of the GPS, but unfortunately for security reasons (good in my opinion), Google decided that only the user will be able to enable and disable the GPS, so we removed it from the application.
The screenshot though is old, and I will replace it!
Thank you for noticing it!
OK, I'm confused. No offense, but it is not very intuitive. I just downloaded it, and I cannot tell the difference between Red and Green on the Screen Timeout in the On Charge profile, and either way I set it, the screen timed out! Also, on WiFi and such, what's the difference between Red, Green and the white box? I also don't see my Navigation app.

this is good? 5 year old and outdated libraries? open your eyes...
Here's a little flashable to install my modded Torch app. Nothing changed in terms of the Torch app's functionality, just puttin a pretty face on things. Its safe to flash on all devices already using the torch app. This is a part of my Guru'd Nighly Build, but a buddy wanted this now, so here it be.
Like I mentioned, its safe to say that if your already using the Torch App from CM9, that my modded version will function perfectly on your device. This App is only intended to be used with ICS ROM's, mainly CM9. At this point, that's all I've test this app on. A word of warning: Like anything else you flash to your device, if any harm befouls your device, its no ones fault but your own. But you can be assured that I have never, and will never make available anything that I haven't tested on my own device. This app is no different. If you've got any questions, please feel free to ask. And if you like my mod, hit the thanks button.

I don't foresee any problems with this app, like everything else I post I've tested this on my own device. But any feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks Ms Guru. Nice to see a different face making stuff for our phones. Thanks!
So, today I found this and had to share this.
MyScript Calculator
Vision Objects

As i'm always looking for apps that utilize the spen more, i'm very focussed on handwriting apps. This app makes the calculator fun!
Enjoy
Have had this one for a while now it's fun but can get very annoying since it doesn't recognize longer calculations that well..

Agree, it'll lack functions when making comlex calculations. But it'll be faster for quick calculations, i'm already using it for basic change. I'm still liking it

They just had an update on March 11, 2013 so maybe they fix the issue you were talking about.
Here is the English - link

.
Request for more function
One more function for the basic user is use the history data (the result from previous calculation) could you develop for it? :fingers-crossed:
Has anyone found a way to make long calculations? Let's say that I wanted to add 6 five digit numbers... They're is no way I can squeeze about 30 digits plus about 4 operators into the width of my phone in landscape mode... Forget about portrait.
I think that a particular sign should be given to make the app understand that calculations continue into the next line.

Hey guys,
I recently made an app that is quite different from the other ones regularly posted on this forum, which are usually about changing your phone's behavior, so this is a nice change of pace from modifying your phone!
What is it?
Some of you might be familiar with the Delayed Auditory Feedback effect originally research by the Ig Nobel winner Kazutaka Kurihara. If not, check out this video:
To put it briefly, the effect occurs when you hear your own voice at a slight delay. Many people tend to start mumbling, and therefore "jamming" speech. SpeechJammer is an app I made intended to replicate this odd effect from your own phone, unfortunately due to limitations it can only work through headphones, because using it on the speakers would generate a lot of feedback noise.
It's simple to use, just put on headphone and start the app. Hopefully it should impede your speech while you talk. The app also includes a nice holo design inspired from the recent Google Play Store refresh.

Thanks! It's a shame we are still missing so many apps from iOS, really.
I'm having issues receiving notices. I have to open the app to see if I received a message. It's set as my default too. Thanks
Check out this app, I paid around three bucks for the premium features. Always delivers, works great in my S8+ and my Pixel XL.

Would whomever I'm messaging need to download this too?
Well, just give it a chance. Settings>Apps>three dots up right your screen then select default app and check Yaata as your SMS default app. This is a better option for SMS, better than Google Message, better than Textra, better than Signal.

Does it have enhanced messaging features? Like know when other person is typing or read your message?
No, I check out, doesn't have enhanced messaging features. My e-mail app got the enhanced features, so I know what's like. Maybe Signal SMS got it, I don't remember sharp.
