How can i overclock my D/s on cyanogenmod 's 5.0.8 release ?
I have tried the OC-UV releases and dumfuqs flash file but my unit is not booting up.
This issue has really got me at odds .
I am able to successfully use the overclocking widget to push to 576 however I would like to atleast get to 580 or 617 or even 710 (which i think is doable without any serious issues)
Kind Regards
david

Hi guys, I wanted to ask what was the best pairing rom-kernel for the nexus s European i9023
hi.
I use matr1x kernel + bixie rom (Apex), it's really fast, stable and u get a nice battery life (like now - i have 68% and already passed 15hours - normal use)
U can see more about this combo at nexusshacks.com
cheers
If i helped u out somehow hit thanks button pls
Stock with Eugenes Kernel can't go wrong with that smooth
Stock with TEUV if wanting longer batt life..
BuglessPetes ROMS are awesome
but in reality u have to find out which ROM+kernel solution works best for u =)

Thans i try this rom now and send my feedback about it..
That's why I'm sticking with my stock rom just updated via Odin in my SGS+. I'll wait till CM officially supports this device, then either battery life will be decent or they just don't introduce CM9 for SGS+. Unfortunately, not many good roms for SGS+, I also own Galaxy Ace and have much more fun with modifying it as there's just plenty good roms out there for SGA, including official CM support in the form of CM7.2 which actually does not drain battery and makes miracles for that low end phone.

You can return to one stock, try samfirmware to find your latest rom.
Cyano is well know for her speed but for her battery dragging too...
Now that CM 10.1 is the only ROM being actively worked on for the A700, I've moved over to it.
Does anyone know of a kernel that allows overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU and is compatible with CM 10.1?
Here's hoping someone takes over now that Iconian isn't being supported anymore. I wish I could but I have no clue what I'm doing
Gavin
Hey dude,
In this topic (post #103, #104) they're talking about a kernel which has the OC and the UV for CM 10.1.
It's not Vorbeth's original stuff (but a lot of his work has been applied), so I think it's al right to give it a try.
Good luck!
