Hello,
I'm new here and i want a custom ROM on my phone. (Samsung Galaxy S Plus GT-9001)
There is a Cranium rc8 ROM and a Broodrom rc3.
Which one is better and why?
Greetz,
Nexive
(Sorry for my bad English.)
hi... what type of rom did u like bro? installation via cwm or odin?
I have been using Cranium since the second day i bought the phone (5 days ago) and i did not try any other rom else.... so i have the same question as you.
I can say about cranium that is pretty stable and looks amazin with the ICS theme it packs: I changed the kernel to Phoenix though, because i had a couple of random reboots..... and now seems to work better even......
@kazuya_82:I prefer the Odin installation. I think its easier. Not?
@GFXi0N: Thanks for the reply & the tip!
if u prefer odin i suggest u to choose broodrom. it's simple & smooth.
Hello, i am one of users [JB][4.3.1][LINARO] CarbonRom 1.9.1 [NIGHTLY BUILDS][UNOFFICIAL] rom and i have problem with battery. So my question is wich kernel will give me the best battery life with that rom? (PS I am new on android i dont know much about kernels for now) Thx

Thank you!

Maybe if you where on stock rom still then I could suggest some tweaks but you`ve flashed a custom ROM that's a modified version of AOSP etc CyanogenMod is already tweaked to be as good as it can be so not really much else that your gonna benefit from.
Maybe if your after changing the appearance you could look around the themes and apps section for some compatible themes etc http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-explorer/themes-apps
Hello everyboy!
These past days I managed to put the CyanogenMod Rom based on Android 5, dont i dont really like the ways its moving...Its not that sharp.
Could u please recommend me another ROM which is a little more sharp? (I dont care if its Android 4 or 5)
Thank you!
I think it's stock rom 4.1.2.
well you can try the pac man rom.
