ive been trying to play games like bejewled blitz on facebook with this tablet but its real slow and jerky, is there a way to get these kind of games to run better ???
Try a different browser like chrome or ICS browser+. Doubt it'll work fast though.

yeah i tried that and just the same i was hoping for a miracle lol
Not through facebook, but if you download the .swf file and play it in a viewer it runs more smoothly.
Or remote desktop,
i never though about remote desktop lol

So, I'm using the tablet version of the NHL Game Center Live Premium Verizon app and trying to watch game lately I've noticed that the Video is super jittery. Unwatchable. Audio seems normal. Video will play for 2 seconds, stop, jump ahead the 2 second and start again, rinse, repeat.
It is driving me nuts. Is anyone else experiencing this? or is it working fine for you? If it works, what Rom and version of it are you running? I originally tried on the latest revolver. Now i'm on the latest Revolution HD. Both are ICS. Haven't tried a Non-ICS, anyone else have a confirmed working ROM?
Thanks!
Having the same problem with stock ICS.
Go Kings Go!!
This is an issue with the kernel Asus released with their ICS builds. All roms based on the Asus release will have the issue. ROMS not based on the Asus builds like the Team EOS rom play the video smoothly.

Yea, I had that problem on Stock ICS and the other Roms using Asus ICS.
CM9, TeamEos, and AOKP all worked great for me with the NHL app. Must be a problem with stock Asus, as Shaun said.
I watch the NHL using the browser,(I'm a subscriber) the beauty of using the desktop version is you have
much more choice of resolutions than with the GCL app.

I had the same issue but I solved by nvflashing ics then installed my rom and cwm via gnufabio's app and the video has worked perfect since

Thats usually what I do using my HTPC. I am a subscriber, not stealing anything here. The problem is I'm a subscriber and they black out games that are on NHL network or NBC Sports. Channels I don't have because I don't subscribe to cable because NHL is the only thing I wanted to watch live. Gamecenter live is great, but the blackouts are rediculous.
Got this working by using Eos nightlies. The tablet version of the verizon gamecenter app stream beautiful video. Great alternative to my HTPC when games are blacked out since the app can be faked out. My previous hack for blackouts on the HTPC stopped working when the year turned over, NHL got wise to it i suppose.
If you guys haven't checked out mobo player you should. They just added that window effect that the GS3 has. Its amazing on our tablet. Here is a screenshot of me playing final fantasy 3 while watching the first episode of The Big Bang Theory which I ripped from my bluray streaming from my pc via file manager hd. It really shows the true speed and power of this tablet.

I'd love to like this player, but it has trouble playing back any .mkv and .avi files I've tried on it. One video played back right, Vertigo, but that movie is over 50 years old and isn't going to showcase the amazing power of this tablet lol.
Yea, i agree its not the best video player out there and i like BS player a whole lot better but the window thingy is pretty cool. Hopefully with time the player end of the app will get better.

Exactly..
By the way... what uses can the small screen have for ya. I would have a hard time paying attention while doing other tuff..
Lastly, anyone download sites to pick up good movies to add to the table?
Even better yet, just use whatever video player you want and then use "Stick It!" - a windowed video player! It allows you to resize and move the window and it would work with ANY other app! The guy that writes it also has 3 or 4 other windowed apps for Android - check them out on the Play store - they are really cool...

I use "Stick It" as well!!!
Why pay 1.79 for "stick it" when you can have "Super Video, Floating, and Pop-Up" update for FREE. It does the same exact thing. Plus it had an Update 7 days ago. STICK IT hasn't had one since May.

A few reasons:
1. I purchased it way before "Super Video" was available.
2. It's a *much* better app - it simply works better!
Have you actually tried Stick-it? Just because an app is updated more recently does not make it better!

Are you saying I can use bsplayer and then use stick it to float bsplayer's window or is it just a stand alone player? At work atm so I can't try it out for myself

Stick-it is a stand-alone app (a windowed video player). The author of it makes 3 or 4 other windows apps as well (a browser, video player, calculator and a terminal emulator).

Anyone know of an app that would allow you to do this with non-videos? For example, having a browser window open and another app windowed? That would be great for comparing data.

you can do the opposite with OverSkreen. Its a floating browser. Same goes for LilyPad, a floating IM client (only gtalk, facebook and msn at the moment).

Cornerstone hasn't been released yet... Beta's should be coming soon for those that contributed to their Kickstarter project.... Personally, I can't wait for the beta!

Someone has to post a thread on this cornerstone on screen app so we can all see when this beta comes out. I'd give a nice contribution to have this running on my Infinity.

Hey,
I am not here to complain about subscriptions or anything like that, I just want a great working app. So I was wondering which version of splashtop I should get; Splashtop HD, Splashtop THD, or Splashtop 2. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have splashtop remote desktop HD on mine. Its great for controlling your computer at home when you are away from home. However, I tried watching a netflix movie through the program and the video stuttered quite a bit. So maybe the Splashtop THD would have been better for something like that. I don't game, so I figured I wouldn't need it.
Splashtop THD requires you have a (beefy) NVIDIA card to view games fullshreen. But it works good for me. Torchlight works wonders, GW2 wouldn't let me walk forward and instead made me do a forward roll, everything else worked. HL2 also works wonderful.
I would go HD unless you want fullscreen gaming.

I had issues doing right clicks in some games with splashtop 1. After installing 2, those issues went away.

You already own Splashtop HD if you have a tf700, it's located in Asus MyCloud. Splashtop 2 follows my cursor around, making mouseovers easier, while the Asus packed version only moves the PC mouse when I click somewhere.
Why aren't people posting this stuff in the Tf700 apps section? Not to pick on the OP specifically, because it's getting more common for everyone. It's just not as though no one reads and responds there. Plenty of activity and no reason to clutter up general with something that has a clear cut subforum.
I like to use Splashtop 2 (from the play store) for local networks - I enjoy the interface more. But the splashtop version included in ASUS mycloud for use away from my home network.
My understanding is ST2 requires a monthly subscription to use remotely (not on the same network) whereas one that came with our TF700's is free. The ST2 is a much better for gaming, but for general remote desktop then the one with my cloud is sufficient.
Hi, I hope Im creating this in right place. I use my tablet for gaming a lot. But I'm not satisfied. Most of the fps games lags like hell. Most of them were gameloft's games. And I know that gl doesnt support tegra3 well. But today I installed real racing 3. Now I hate real racing, it was terriblee to see it with this lag. Meanwhile my friend with an old iphone plays it smoothly. The problem is its was not even Fullhd in game unlike gta or something.
