Bluetooth controllers and Onlive - T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

They have Onlive app on the market for us now. If anyone doesnt know what it is its cloud gaming. Meaning we can play games like asassains creed in hq without lag, any game that onlive has we can play... Its pure awsomeness. The only thing is a good connection is needed 6mbs min 12 mbs best.
Its awsome as heck!
Has anyone has luck using a blutetooth keyboard and mouse or controller?

Power A Pro Pack Mini Bluetooth Controller

I thought you guys might want to know about this: I went to Best Buy yesterday to get a Wiimote for my G2x and came across this much smaller controller:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/POWER+A+-+ProPack+Mini+Remote+and+Mini+Chuk+for+Nintendo+Wii/1168433.p?id=1218228673832&skuId=1168433
It's the length of the phone, it's light, and you can put it in your pocket. It doesn't work with the Wiimote Controller APP in either Froyo or CM7, but it does work fine with Bluez IME in CM7. I haven't tried the nunchuk attachment as I'm just using it to play SNES and MAME games.
So how is that Power A Wii remote working out for you? I see mixed reviews for use on the Wii with sync issues and lag, but if it work fine on an android phone, i may think about trying since its nice and small.
I use my PS3 controller. Works like a charm on the fitsnugly CM7 kang.
Yeah but that a lot bigger and more expensive, plus i was really only thinking of using it for basic NES GBA and Genesis emulation for now.

[Q] Gaming controller

Can I bluetooth a 360 or PS3 controller to play N64 roms?
The games run PERFECT on it, but the touch controls suck!
try an icontrolpad. Works a treat. D pad, shoulder buttons and 2 analogue nubs. Works with all the emu's.
Maybe this iControlPad is good, but still too expensive! 70$!??!?! Maybe have someone else bought a bluetooth gamepad thats working too?
The PS3 controller will work via USB but not Bluetooth. Believe it or not the 360 controller isn't Bluetooth, Microsoft use their own proprietary wireless tech, but if you buy one of the wireless dongles for connection one to a PC it should work fine but thats second hand knowledge. I am yet to try it myself.
Personally I just use my PS3 controller
I don't have dock for my Transformer, so have you all any idea how to use a controller?

There's talk that asus will release USB adapter that will plug into the port that the dock uses. I have not seen these for sale as of yet.
Another option, is you can use a wiimote with the classic controller attached to it. Works with bluetooth. Just search the market for wiimote.
Does anyone else think there's enough threads about controllers that there should just be a sticky on high?

Thats what i used to use but you can get a classic pro controller for about $20 plugs in like a nunchuck and it works even better it has d-pad shoulder buttons two analog sticks and the usual controls.
All you have to do to get it to work is download the wii controler app from market and enable custom ime in n64oid then map you contros and your good to go ive used it on star fox super mario pod racers fighters destiny bangoo kazooi and one of the race games

I find that N64 games, especially the games that are N64 exclusives, don't really work as well with a classic controller. The N64 had such a weird button setup. I use my classic controller for PSX, SNES, and GBA games

N64oid and the Transformer

Okay, my favorite thing to do with my Transformer (even though it is HIGHLY unproductive) is to play Mario Kart 64 with PS3 controllers on a big screen TV via an HDMI cable. Unfortunately, the damn thing lags A LOT sometimes. I was wondering what settings/configs other people are using to get the most of Mario Kart 64 and other N64 classics on their Transformers.
Thanks!!!

I've noted that trying different emulators (and versions) for different games gives different success. For Mk64 I use the latest N64oid and it's decent (Other ems lag horridly)
What helps a Great amount for me is overclocking from default 1.0 (I run 1.2 though, guevor's default) to 1.4 or 1.5. That reduces lag ALOT and makes it a tad more playable

Mario Kart 64 is definitely my go to game for N64oid. I haven't gotten around to trying it on the TF101 but Ive noticed on my G2X which also has a tegra2 the free version is MUCH smoother than the paid version, However The paid version is the only one that I can get multiple controllers working with. Not sure if using HDMI has any effect in this but it does on GTAIII and a few other games.

[Q]flash games

ive been trying to play games like bejewled blitz on facebook with this tablet but its real slow and jerky, is there a way to get these kind of games to run better ???
Try a different browser like chrome or ICS browser+. Doubt it'll work fast though.

yeah i tried that and just the same i was hoping for a miracle lol
Not through facebook, but if you download the .swf file and play it in a viewer it runs more smoothly.
Or remote desktop,
i never though about remote desktop lol

Onlive Relaunch - Cloudlift (XPO)

Onlive just relaunched it's service's with improvements, new features like the new cloudlift service which enables you to upload digitally owned PC (e.g Steam) games to onlive to stream and best of all MORE ONLIVE GAMES.
Read all about it here - http://www.gamespot.com/articles/cloud-gaming-company-onlive-returns-in-a-big-way/1100-6418122/
It appears that Onlive have updated the android app and now only Supports 4.0+. BUT if still have the last 2.3 supported apk with Xperia Play Optimized controls it still works. As it's a cloud service all the new features are on Onlive end
When get to my PC at some point I will update this with some more info
Awesome. Thanks or sharing poo-tang! :good:
I completely forgot about this Thx for the news update, I still have a v1.3 apk laying around somewhere, now just to remember my account info and log in
Thought I would share this link, found it online.

Its been modded to work with all types of controllers going to test it now on my nexus 5 with my moga hero

Edit - I have also attached the apk to this post.
Wow! Someone should really try playing a steam game like skyrim on the play, maybe filming it. Too bad it requires subscription, but at least I'd love to see how it works.
I didnt play skyrim, but i have tried the dirt 3 demo. It ran flawless on what looked like max gfx, and was XPO. Great service if you don't mind the subscription.

Okay, sorry for the delay. The attached on live apk works with my moga hero in HID mode. And works beautifully. Played Dirt 3 and Batman Lego.

That's not my point. Anyway, I read that cloudlift only works with a handful of games as of now... :/
