Has to be a dessert/candy.
There has been a lot of talk in the industry about it being Key Lime Pie. I think the real question that we should be asking though, is whether it'll be a major or minor release (4.2,3,4 vs. 5.0).
Maybe we'll see something similar to Eclair, Froyo, and Gingerbread and it'll be minor, e.g. 4.2.
4.0 was such a major release, I couldn't see Google making another huge jump in OS design for at least anther 12-18 months.

ROM: CM9
yeah, Not sure what the CM team was thinking with Cid, but in my humble opinion it's really not very professional or artistic. Just bland and quite frankly, lame. Hope they consider the communities opinion and maybe do something else...The background warp thing is so much cooler.
But when you just change the character, and keep the star wars light speed animation, its just lazy on their part. But I understand with all these phones coming out and all the dev work that involves going into a solid rom.

Agree, the "new" animation feels like it probably took them about 5 minutes to swap out the characters and that's it.
But...I'd rather have the great ROM that CM9 is with a boring new character than a great character and a boring ****ty ROM anyday!
After watching the new boot animation he looks like a grown up version of the old one mixed with iron man due to the glowing circle on his chest
Weird. I downloaded the "official" jellybean boot animation from a Verge article (I think), and it looks nothing like that. It "looks" like an official one as well, in that it's very similar in form and function to the previous official Honeycomb and ICS animations.
Here's a pic of the one I'm talking about running on my Fire:

Oh, okay..that makes sense then.
But I wish Google would just be consistent. If they just did one, it would make the suspense that builds up wondering what the new one's gonna look like stronger and it would keep pressure on the team that designs it to make it as awesome as they can each Android version. With 2 (or more), they can kinda half-ass them because carriers would have a choice. I look forward to the Easter Egg each release: maybe it's because there's only just one, and it has been getting better and better. (On that note, did everyone see the hidden Kandy cane in the Jellybean Easteregg?)

Alex brings up a good point earlier today about Google not releasing a new version of Android this year. Jelly Bean brings a lot of under the hood changes, and it's highly possible that Google is going to spend time and effort to refine them, and issue a few point-releases throughout the year and into the next. But of course, this is all speculation. We have no idea what Google is apt to do, and they could surprise us all.
But speculation can be fun. So let's do some! then feel free to expand your answer in the comments. You never know, Google may listen

I think there will not really be an other version. jellybean will maybe get an update but there will be no "Key lime pie" version this year.

Maybe later on in the year.
They usually release two versions per year.
JellyBean&?->2012
Honeycomb&ICS->2011
Froyo&Gingerbread->2010
I think there will bei a New Version this year, because still we are missing a New phone from google this year. I think there will be a New nexus phone like the galaxy nexus last year in october.
