Weird. I downloaded the "official" jellybean boot animation from a Verge article (I think), and it looks nothing like that. It "looks" like an official one as well, in that it's very similar in form and function to the previous official Honeycomb and ICS animations.

Oh, okay..that makes sense then.
But I wish Google would just be consistent. If they just did one, it would make the suspense that builds up wondering what the new one's gonna look like stronger and it would keep pressure on the team that designs it to make it as awesome as they can each Android version. With 2 (or more), they can kinda half-ass them because carriers would have a choice. I look forward to the Easter Egg each release: maybe it's because there's only just one, and it has been getting better and better. (On that note, did everyone see the hidden Kandy cane in the Jellybean Easteregg?)

Much better than the skateboarding android. It looked way too childish. When I ran cm on my vibrant, I would get annoyed with that skateboarding fool.

I always liked the skateboarding Andy....ever since fastboot on my g1. Don't care for the new look but unless I get a nexus it don't really matter. I've been touch wizd the last two years or so.

I, too, am very disappointed in the choice. The new 'mascot' is lame. I liked the skateboarding andy and have it as my wallpaper.
Hopefully the redesign CM has asked for will make it better. I'm sure I will get used to it in no time, though.

So what was wrong with the old logo....and who voted on these? I liked that the old one was still an Android "droid" just with a the appropriate color and the skateboard definitely says west coast.
The new one, although a nice design (the original submission not CM final modification which looks worse), doesn't fit in my opinion....it looks too much like an alien.

There has been a lot of talk in the industry about it being Key Lime Pie. I think the real question that we should be asking though, is whether it'll be a major or minor release (4.2,3,4 vs. 5.0).
Maybe we'll see something similar to Eclair, Froyo, and Gingerbread and it'll be minor, e.g. 4.2.
4.0 was such a major release, I couldn't see Google making another huge jump in OS design for at least anther 12-18 months.

Running BAMF leaked ICS. Anxiously waiting on Cyanogenmod, AOKP, or at least a custom kernel.
Anyway, here you go:
Don't recall where I got the wallpaper, but it's from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann(it's not the Offspring logo). If somebody really wants it I guess I could upload it.
Widget is minimalistic text with a custom layout. Launcher is Holo Launcher set to 5x7. I use stock browser for mobile sites, and dolphin when I need a desktop site(that's why there are two browsers on my homesceen). That's about it. The wallpaper isn't final, but I like it, so it will probably remain this way, at least for now. I may find an alternate icon pack, but I have ICS at a point where I am happy, so I don't need to do any more.

The hands and feet one. Seeing them gave me the weirdest and kinda scariest dream I've ever had. It involved a creature made up of grafted arms and legs and like a tremor face. It was terrible. And it was in the bottom of an old functioning prison where people were fed to it. Ditto....
