Kemco RPG games for Xperia PLAY - Xperia Play Themes and Apps

Currently for Xperia PLAY from Kemco we have the awesome games:
Eve of the Genesis
Aeon Avenger
Symphony of Eternity.
All three are great, my favorites being Eve & Aeon. I wanted to let everyone know I have contacted Kemco and asked them about their other RPG games that are on the market but not available in English. Here is what I wrote to them, all games in question have the web page link, from there you can see the three games I have if you are interested.

My email.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
Currently I have Aeon Avenger, Symphony of Eternity, Eve of the Genesis on my Xperia PLAY and I love these games. They have provided me with a lot of entertainment. I have noticed there are several other games listed on the Google PLAY store that say they are for Japanese only. Can you tell me if any of the following games will be released in English and have Xperia PLAY support..
Machine Knight: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...GwsMSwyLDEsImtlbWNvLmhpdHBvaW50Lm1hY2hpbmUiXQ..
Knight of World End: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.wws.vga&feature=search_result
End of Aspiration: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.wws.eofa&feature=search_result
DarkGate: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.hitpoint.darkgate&feature=search_result
Fantasy Chronicle: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.hitpoint.genso&feature=search_result
Solitude of Covenant: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.magitec.solitude&feature=search_result
I would appreciate any feedback as myself and many others would love to see more of these RPG games come to English speaking Xperia PLAY users and to the android community as a whole. Thank you for your time. And thank you for releasing these to the market and for making them Xperia PLAY optimized.
Sincerely,
Jesse

Whatever response I get I will post here, if you are a fan of not only RPG's but RPG's for Xperia PLAY please email Kemco at the above email address and request that more RPG games come to not only the Android community but also Xperia PLAY. Seriously these RPG's are a lot of fun and I have really had a lot of fun and enjoyment playing these games.

I'm still buggin' them to Xperia Play Optimize Grinsia and Alphadia... I'll actually care about those games when they're optimized
...btw, have you seen the trailer for Symphony of the Origin? That looks better than a handful of RPGs on my PSP/DS!

This is the response I got......... not quite what I was hoping to hear but then again I guess the support team probably doesnt know any more then the rest of us until any new games are announced.

Dear customer,
This is KEMCO_GAMES support representative.
Thank you very much for having played our games!
I'm afraid we cannot guarantee anything about future releases(in
English) or Xperia supports. However, our intention is to launch as much
games as possible for the people all over the world to give them the
chance to have fun with our JRPGs.
During that time, we can show you other RPGs which are already localized
in English and available on Google Play.
http://www.kemco-games.com/global/games.html
If you liked Aeon Avenger, Symphony of Eternity and Eve of the Genesis,
I'm sure you'll like them as well.
Sincerely,

Yesm Kemco's JRPGs are great. I have played and beaten Symphony of Eternity (not my favorite of the 3 I have beaten but still good) Eve of the Genesis, Aeon Avenger. These games are serioulsy... a lot of fun. Cannot praise them enough. Some of the dialogue is a little cheesy but still good games.

mmm, maybe after Persona 2 and Thales of Phantasia i will try this games

First of all, we apologize for the late reply.
We are, in fact, working on porting one game and another to Android version.
Since Android market has so many types of devices and OS, it takes longer for us to port iphone version of game into Android’s.
We are definite aware of the growing user pool in Google market. We will try harder to make other games to be available for Androids.
Thank you for your patience.

Well, if you are the ones that created Slice It, well done! It's one of my fave games on Android, runs ok on my Hero, except the menus. Slow and laggy for some reason. But as I said, game plays ok!
I bought in on your Black Friday specials and got:
- Caligo Chaser
- Homerun Battle 3D
- Heavy Gunner 3D
Excellent games! I will definitely be buying your games as you release them.
Homerun 3D battle rocks..
If the new games are graphically as great as this game I will surely buy them...

Yeah, I have purchased your Home Run 3D and I love it.. You guys do a great job.

AEON AVENGER - New Classic-Style RPG from KEMCO!

I'll admit... I've been waiting for this game for months even before it's English translation was announced. Having them suddenly announce that it'd be released today had me F5'ing the **** out of their page
I like old-school style RPGs; but playing games I've already played before via emulators is kinda depressing. I do like that KEMCO's mixing in just that right balance of old and new school so that their RPGs don't have those archaic old-school RPG issues, but also don't kill that ever-so-mysterious *charm* that era's RPGs had. Judging by the scores of their previous RPG releases (Symphony of Eternity, Eve of the Genesis, Alphadia and Grinsia) the known name behind games such as Dragon View and Shadowgate still got it!... and so far, this is even better than their last Xperia PLAY RPGs!
I hate to remove Galaxy Hero from my website's featured game spot, but Aeon Avenger's in town!

I can always count on you to find kickass JRPGs that just appeared on Google Play. Much thanks.

I have been keeping an eye out for this game since I saw the original and that it was being translated in to English. Thank you..... awesome find my friend.
Bought it.......
What makes this one special? I admit Kemco have stepped up their game considerably, even releasing a video opening for such an old relearn as Eve of the Genesis... The tune is catchy too. However, I feel they're a bit too conservative with their games, and I really hope they release a killer app because they really try hard.
No Logseman, this game is not conservative, this game looks OLD, and as I said in another Kemco game's thread, looks like it has been made with RPG maker.
Even 2D RPG games for PSX looked far more advanced than this.
We are in the year 2012, but seems that Kemco doesn't know it.
Yeah it looks a little old, but looks are not everything. I for one am glad the Kemco is making these RPGs and not only that makiung them compatible with our devices....so Kemco..... THANK YOU!!

I was actually asking about gameplay. 2D graphics ate not an issue for me if they're well bundled with a good story. That's where I don't want them to be conservative.

Ditto.
BTW, this is far above the league of anything made in RPGmaker... I don't even understand what form of dementia would make him bring that up again seeing as the entire notion got trampled over last time he tried that. KEMCO's RPGs are thricefold the depth of anything that could be created in RPGmaker, the resolution is much higher, and the graphical detail is much higher... meaning the only thing they really have in common is that they're 2D.
I'm starting to wonder if it's just a common troll trend to call all non-SQEnix 2D RPGs "RPGmaker lookin crap".

Myself and most ohers dont care for trolls, but still point being Kemco is awesome for making these games available to the masses, and I do hope they bring there other Japanese rpg games to the masses as well..... people can troll all they want, People will enjoy it or not. For me....I will be enjoying it.... and for those that enjoy it show your support by buying the game, because ultimately its about revenue and if people buy the game and Kemco sees there is profit and interest we will continue to see good things come from it.

Damn... didn't realize how many of their games I bought... the only ones I don't have are Alphadia, Alphadia 2 and Grinsia which I only avoided because they didn't make them "Xperia Play Optimized".
I'm still trying to hold out so they don't get my money and go on thinking this is okay, but the price is tempting.

Yeah me too, those are the only three I do not have and have no plans on buying even at 0.99 as they are not XPO. But to be honest I dont mind if I paid full price on them at 3.99 as they are worth it and I want Kemco to continue to support our phone. However I hope as many of you will jump on board and buy their games at 0.99
So which ones are your favorites? I am asking because I wanna buy 2 or 3 of them but there are too many and I can't decide :/

I have several that I really like. My first three I played were:
Aeon Avenger
Eve of the Genesis
Knight of the Earthends
Lately, Symphony of Eternity
Hoenstly I have enjoyed them all, I would say you really cant go wrong. Symphony of the Origin is only partially optimized, it will not show in the Games Launcher and os a mix between touch and gamepad controls, still good game.
I would say start with the following:
Symphony of Eternity ( has a really neat Anime style opening now)
Knight of the Earthends
Eve of the Genesis or Aeon Avenger (Aeon was a tougher final boss, eve....a little weak)
Whichever games you get please let us know your thoughts, I would like to encourage everyone to take a shot on Kemco's games as I really have been getting a ton of entertainment out of them these last 2 years.
Ok so I got Symphony of Eternity, Knight of the Earthends and Aeon Avenger...
I have only started playing Symphony of Eternity so far, but I am really enjoying it! It is perfectly optimized for the Xperia Play controls, the story is interesting, and it reminds me of Pokemon on the Gameboy The automatic battles are also really nice to have for the easy enemies!
I might even buy some more of these games before the sale ends, they're really good. How did I not know about them before?!

Some KEMCO games to look forward to...

Hi guys,
Thought this might interest you...
Here are some higher quality Kemco games on Google Play that have been released natively but will (hopefully soon) be finding an English language release.
Firstly RPG Alphadia Genesis:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.execreate.alphadiagenesis
Second (and one that I am looking forward to) is Soul of Deva:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.hitpoint.saiyugi
They both look great and better yet they are both XPERIA PLAY OPTIMISED!
There are actually quite a few kemco games that are not available outside of Japan that are XPO. Alphadia Genesis wont be out until either this month or next month. Sould Deva, presently has no plans of coming to the world, although Kemco has told me that before and some games have come out.... Like the recent Crimson Wolf and Destiny Fantasia. Aside from a few 95% of Kemco games released are XPO.

Sorry, somehow I missed the part about Alphadia Genesis being XPO.. I wrote my reply at 3am when I couldnt sleep.
This will mark the first Alphadia game to be XPO.... that is awesome!
So I have never played any of kemco's games. I have some questions. Should i play them in any order? If not which one would you recommend playing first? Should i try RPG Machine Knight first just to see if i like there games since it is free? Thanks in advance for the help.:good:
Sorry, have been at work all day and couldn't respond to any of your posts.
Ozzmanj, thanks for the links. I already have Fortuna Magus and a few others.
Yep TLRtheory, Alphadia Genesis really is XPO! Sweet huh!
Insane5125, Machine knight is a great place to start. It has really well fleshed out characters. KEMCO games have an old school charm to them that I think you'll enjoy.

Thanks for the response. I think I'll definitely try it out. Also one last question I saw that some of the games you play as multiple characters like Final Fantasy. Is this all Kemco games or do they mix it up?

It depends on the game. But a fair few of the Kemco games have you playing as different characters at different points in the story. I'm currently playing Fortuna Magus and I'm really enjoying that element of thew game. Have fun!

I have to say I am a huge fan of the Kemco games. I have paid for about 6 games lately in the last year where I have not had a chance to play them yet. But I buy them and leave feedback thanking Kemco for continuing to support the Xperia PLAY. I would hope that they see the comments and be more inclined to continue to do so.

Justice Chronicles - Kemco JRPG

This came out a couple days ago, have not had a chance to test on my xperia play but it does state it supports controllers. Previous kemco games have supported the xperia play. Here is the market link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.hitpoint.seisen
Trailer:
https://youtu.be/0bckGU1rIMI
I've states before and I will say it again. Of all Android game developers, Kemco has been consistent with supporting the Play. Show your support by purchasing and thanking them for supporting this phone. If anyone else plays it and likes it be sure to post some thoughts on it, thank you.
Just wanted to add, I fired it up on my play and it works perfect with the controls!
Edit- it appears when in battle the controls don't seem to work and its touch based only. Just FYI.
Hey Ozzmanj1, just wanted to say that the Xperia Play controls do work in the battles. They work for the whole game. The system takes a little while to get used to but it's actually really good. As for the game itself, it breathed new life into my Play. The game is solid. The graphics are retro and polished and the quality of the music surprised me. I think it's the best Kemco release yet. Trust me the battles get crazy the further you go into the game. I just hope it makes good on it's touted 40+ hours of gameplay!
