Some KEMCO games to look forward to... - Xperia Play Themes and Apps

Hi guys,
Thought this might interest you...
Here are some higher quality Kemco games on Google Play that have been released natively but will (hopefully soon) be finding an English language release.
Firstly RPG Alphadia Genesis:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.execreate.alphadiagenesis
Second (and one that I am looking forward to) is Soul of Deva:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.hitpoint.saiyugi
They both look great and better yet they are both XPERIA PLAY OPTIMISED!

There are actually quite a few kemco games that are not available outside of Japan that are XPO. Alphadia Genesis wont be out until either this month or next month. Sould Deva, presently has no plans of coming to the world, although Kemco has told me that before and some games have come out.... Like the recent Crimson Wolf and Destiny Fantasia. Aside from a few 95% of Kemco games released are XPO.

There are several other games XPO... Symphony of the Origin (sort of), Symphony of Eternity, Aeon Avenger, Knight of the Earthends..etc.

Alphadia Genesis is Xperia Play Optimised?! I'm ecstatic!

Sorry, somehow I missed the part about Alphadia Genesis being XPO.. I wrote my reply at 3am when I couldnt sleep.
This will mark the first Alphadia game to be XPO.... that is awesome!

So I have never played any of kemco's games. I have some questions. Should i play them in any order? If not which one would you recommend playing first? Should i try RPG Machine Knight first just to see if i like there games since it is free? Thanks in advance for the help.:good:

Sorry, have been at work all day and couldn't respond to any of your posts.
Ozzmanj, thanks for the links. I already have Fortuna Magus and a few others.
Yep TLRtheory, Alphadia Genesis really is XPO! Sweet huh!
Insane5125, Machine knight is a great place to start. It has really well fleshed out characters. KEMCO games have an old school charm to them that I think you'll enjoy.

Thanks for the response. I think I'll definitely try it out. Also one last question I saw that some of the games you play as multiple characters like Final Fantasy. Is this all Kemco games or do they mix it up?

It depends on the game. But a fair few of the Kemco games have you playing as different characters at different points in the story. I'm currently playing Fortuna Magus and I'm really enjoying that element of thew game. Have fun!

I have to say I am a huge fan of the Kemco games. I have paid for about 6 games lately in the last year where I have not had a chance to play them yet. But I buy them and leave feedback thanking Kemco for continuing to support the Xperia PLAY. I would hope that they see the comments and be more inclined to continue to do so.

YESSS ff9 was amazing
Now I loved Chrono Trigger, but I don't know if I'd buy it yet again at this point. However, if they optimized it to work with both the touch screen and with the buttons on the Xperia Play similarly to how they did on the DS port, then I think they will make a lot of people happy. I know people that can't stand trying to use the on-screen SNES controls for playing games like CT. One went the route of using a Wii Remote and Classic Controller to work around it, but that's hardly a portable solution. So if they implement more intuitive touch controls, it could go a long way on smart phones.

Yes coded is a Japense Mobile game (not Android) and RE:coded is a DS game. And Chain of Memorys sucks.

i actually liked X but yeah X-2 was aload of crap. And XIII is shocking
i thought the characters in 10 were horribad.Too annoying for my taste @[email protected] even finish the game, and the very famous tidus laugh made me mute my tv for a while xDDD
FF9 surprisingly was verry dark! i thought it couldnt be darker than FF7 0.0!Also vivi ftw!
Please refrain from calling any Final Fantasy game "dark". The darkness (and depth) of its plots is comparable to a Sponge Bob chapter.
Being centered around relationship issues and lacking a credible sexual dynamic deprives the plots from any possible attractiveness towards audiences with some matureness... such as we the people who bought those games originally, and we're now over our 20s.
It is little wonder that no one takes video games seriously if Final Fantasy is offered as the highlight of plots. Teenagers bought those games en masse, the same way they made their parents buy crap plots like Eragon or the Twilight series.

What you said is so true. I always wonder why game developers don't make games for kids, teens and adults instead of just kids and teens. Movies cater for all age groups, why don't video games? I tried to play ff10 and it was so unbelievably childish I could not stomach it for more than three or four hours. how about an AO or Mature rated final fantasy? hasn't the current set of new final fantasies, ie from ps2 era onwards, failed miserably enough to cause game developers to reassess their strategies?
I think the issue is that we were the first Western generation towards which games were marketed heavily, and we accept video games as any other media. As we, and newer generations, grow up and keep demanding videogames, some of us will ask for more mature plots and character developments and a market for them will appear.
This development will be probably similar to what happened with manga in Japan: first shojo titles had the spotlight, add they were directed at little children, then shonen, and when the target population grew up, more mature titles appeared from the seventies onward.
I would rather have new titles and sagas with fresher concepts though.Retooling known series is harder than starting from scratch.. That's why I like ideas like Katherine.
Anyone else disgusted by final fantasy 13? The cinematics were sweet, but it felt like i was playing Resident Evil.... pretty lame.
In psone era and when I was younger i'd call ff games dark for me -_-

FF7, FF8, FF9 and 10 were great. I played 11 which was fun but you had to be dedicated to play it. I thought 12 was also great.
People complained that FFXIII was linear but FFX was pretty linear as well. I don't really have an qualms with any of the FF games, I even enjoyed FFX-2.

[Further Beyond Fighting] Xperia PLAY makes a nearly unplayable fighter playable!

If you haven't seen it yet, Further Beyond Fighting is now officially Xperia PLAY Optimized.
I remember playing this on iOS... and it was kind of a wreck... kinda >_>.
Looking at the reviews on both the iOS and Android versions, it's clear that "touch-screen" and "fighting game" just don't belong in the same sentence... this game got rated a lot lower than it deserves just from that.
Swapping between touch and physical controls, it's a MASSIVE difference.
Now it's all smooth-as-butter performance, WITH controls that respond

I had Street Fighter IV Volt on my 4th Gen iPod Touch... Capcom did alright with the limitations they had to work with, but compared to buttons it still sucked ass.
I'm hoping Capcom will release SFIV Volt on Xperia PLAY too so I can play it for real.

Of course it does... people been playing it with horrible touch-controls.
Lol if I had to play a fighter with touch-controls, I'd give it a very bad rating too. It's not perfect, of course, but after playing with touch controls then getting a substantially more responsive experience on Xperia PLAY, this feels like a brand new game. This is why Xperia PLAY kicks every other smartphone's ass at gaming.
Bad reviews because of it being poorly polished, that is. Judging from the game's screenies and video, it looks mediocre. Half-cooked. That's why.
I'm kinda addicted now.. I just love fighting games.. Eventhough I can't jump, no touch pad support, no good combo, only few characters.. but i'm sure this will not take that long because of those issues..

I doubt anything will beat Tekken 3 to be honest.
This doesn't look good at all.
No, this game looks terrible. I mean if this game had better gameplay and graphics then it would be worth it. It seems like a bad game from a fly by night vaporware dev. No offense to anyone who enjoys this game.
Exactly. Nailed it.
Hey There!
Hi Guys, it's us from PJS-Coding - developers of Further Beyond Fighting!
First: Thank you TLRtheory for this thread. We're glad you're all discussing our game.
Regarding all your feedback: We plan to implement new combo moves shortly.
New moves are a top priority for one of the next updates. And if you have any feedback and features you want us to implement, just drop us a mail: support.android(AT)further-beyond-fighting(DOT)com
We're available 365 days a year and respect all the feedback we get. TLRtheory can confirm that; he was one of the persons who asked us to add Xperia PLAY support. And now it's here!
Stay in touch!
Now that's what I like to see from a dev.
I think its great that you are listening and participating through the Xda community. I wonder is or was there ever a demo release of the title? It seems that a round or two of the game would open the flood gates for areas of oppurtunites.

IMO a demo would be a better idea than a "free to play" version, I tend to stay away from free to play games or free games with in app purchases. As these tend to alway run in the background, and flood your notification bar with "special offers" Gun bros by glu is a prime example of this
I really loved playing Gun Bros but uninstalled for that very reason.

I loved this game as a kid, had it on the megadrive, always got stuck on CLLD
I don't see the point of this being expensive though, it's not a long game, graphics although remastered are still blocky (In relation to other mega-drive/pc/amiga games) and they could have included the sequel released for sega cd with it.

Kemco RPG games for Xperia PLAY

Currently for Xperia PLAY from Kemco we have the awesome games:
Eve of the Genesis
Aeon Avenger
Symphony of Eternity.
All three are great, my favorites being Eve & Aeon. I wanted to let everyone know I have contacted Kemco and asked them about their other RPG games that are on the market but not available in English. Here is what I wrote to them, all games in question have the web page link, from there you can see the three games I have if you are interested.
Kemco's email address: [email protected]
My email.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
Currently I have Aeon Avenger, Symphony of Eternity, Eve of the Genesis on my Xperia PLAY and I love these games. They have provided me with a lot of entertainment. I have noticed there are several other games listed on the Google PLAY store that say they are for Japanese only. Can you tell me if any of the following games will be released in English and have Xperia PLAY support..
Machine Knight: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...GwsMSwyLDEsImtlbWNvLmhpdHBvaW50Lm1hY2hpbmUiXQ..
Knight of World End: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.wws.vga&feature=search_result
End of Aspiration: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.wws.eofa&feature=search_result

Solitude of Covenant: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kemco.magitec.solitude&feature=search_result
I would appreciate any feedback as myself and many others would love to see more of these RPG games come to English speaking Xperia PLAY users and to the android community as a whole. Thank you for your time. And thank you for releasing these to the market and for making them Xperia PLAY optimized.
Sincerely,
Jesse

Whatever response I get I will post here, if you are a fan of not only RPG's but RPG's for Xperia PLAY please email Kemco at the above email address and request that more RPG games come to not only the Android community but also Xperia PLAY. Seriously these RPG's are a lot of fun and I have really had a lot of fun and enjoyment playing these games.
I'm still buggin' them to Xperia Play Optimize Grinsia and Alphadia... I'll actually care about those games when they're optimized
...btw, have you seen the trailer for Symphony of the Origin? That looks better than a handful of RPGs on my PSP/DS!

Dear customer,
This is KEMCO_GAMES support representative.
Thank you very much for having played our games!
I'm afraid we cannot guarantee anything about future releases(in
English) or Xperia supports. However, our intention is to launch as much
games as possible for the people all over the world to give them the
chance to have fun with our JRPGs.
During that time, we can show you other RPGs which are already localized
in English and available on Google Play.

If you liked Aeon Avenger, Symphony of Eternity and Eve of the Genesis,
I'm sure you'll like them as well.

Yesm Kemco's JRPGs are great. I have played and beaten Symphony of Eternity (not my favorite of the 3 I have beaten but still good) Eve of the Genesis, Aeon Avenger. These games are serioulsy... a lot of fun. Cannot praise them enough. Some of the dialogue is a little cheesy but still good games.

I hope it doesn't disappoint as the quality of this one looks way above Kemco's usual par. I also hope that
