You can flash.
I bricked my phone :-(
Hi, I was in KPH - Cranium v3. I follow the above instruction to flash the KF1.
But my phone was bricked right after the below steps. Anyway to 'rescue' it? Turn on / down vol+home+power / up vol+home+power only give a vibration and blank screen.
1. Flash DXKF1 (download & extract files first) using ODIN:
- Open ODIN check Re-Partition, Auto Reboot, F.Reset Time
- Click PIT button choose: latona_20110114.pit
- Shutdown phone
- Simultaneously click and hold Vol.Down+Home+Power buttons (Download Mode)
- Connect phone to PC via Data Cable. (make sure ID:COM box in Odin highlighted yellow)
- Click ODIN's Start button
- Wait for "PASS!" to appear on top left corner of ODIN
---------- Post added at 05:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:29 PM ----------
Nevermind. After taken out battery for several times. I finally flashed to KF1. Thx.

Unable to install LF2

Hello friends,
I had been running LF2 for the past few months successfully but i had installed Frankenstein's Mod which i did not prefer over stock due to stability issues. Now when i reflashed LF2 with the PIT file, My device doesnt boot up and keeps restarting after showing the Samsung page. I had to install XXKPQ which is Serbian i suppose to successfully recover my device and it updated to LE4 via Kies.
I am having stability issues now with LE4 and extremely poor battery life.
Please can anybody guide me how do i get back my LF2 again so please tell me which ROM should i Flash before
Thank you!

Did as you said, but same problem still exists. Is this due to any hardware problem? I have read from other users about it as it maybe a Motherboard issue.

This is how you do it. go make some hot coffee, a pack of cigarette if you smoke, and some cookies and then do the following:
1. get the firmware ready. it is advisable using XXKPE as base.
2. run Odin3 v1.83
3. click Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.
4. press PIT and choose file: latona_20110114.pit
5. on your phone; go to download mode : press Volume down + Home (middle button), and power. (hold until you saw the green robot )
6. connect USB cable to your SL, wait until its connected you can check it in Odin.
7. click start
8. when its done, press reset [Partition box will automatically not selected] your SL will go blank (its ok its normal)
9. pull your SL from cable, open its battery, put it on again, and go back to download mode like on step #5 and reconnect is cable to SL until connected.
10. press BOOTLOADER choose file: APBOOT_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_ship.tar
11. press PDA, choose file: CODE_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_ship.tar
12. press PHONE, choose file: MODEM_I9003XXKPE_REV_00_CL1041909.tar
13. click CSC choose file: GT-I9003-CSC-MULTI-OXAKPE.tar
14. click start
15. dont touch anything until its done. (its a perfect time to drink that coffee & eat some cookies while you wait)
16. if its done your SL will reboot by itself and start the first boot.
17. do a Factory reset by pressing *2767*3855#
18. most FW GB needed to be flashed at least twice. so you need to flash it again. all you need to do just repeat step 10 -16, for the second flash, there is no need to flash latona_20110114.pit again.
19. after your XXKPE up and running. turn it off again. go to download mode & flash DDLF2 you only need to put DDLF2 file into PDA and click start to update from XXKPE to DDLF2 no need to flash bootloader/phone/csc again.
20. after its done. your SL will automatically rebooted again into DDLF2
Enjoy! cheers. simple thanks wont hurt! :good:
WARNING!!: Re-Partition only selected during latona.pit. if you got into step No.9, make sure Re-Partition not selected. :victory:
