steps
1UT THIS FILE ON ROOT OF UR SD CARD (not in any folder)
2:then go to recover mode (middle ie home button +power button)
3:choose install zip from sd card
4:then select the file then ok
na
5:ENJOY
NOTE :TOUCHSCREEN WILL NOT WORK IN RECOVER MODE USEVOLUME UP & DOWN TO NAVIGATE

I've seen this modified lockscreen before somewhere, just I think it was on MIUI though.

Okay, I have creeds rom 1.4, with the crystal sky blue theme!!!
So if I flash this, will it change any other aspect of my rom, other than the lockscreen???
I am asking this, beacause I like every other part of the rom and theme, and don't want to change those...hope you understand....

Bro u need to make this lock again cause in v1.5 there are two bugs which include an android logo in background of apps and battery in status bar...Pratyush has already provided the fix..but i think u have made ur lockscreen with "framework-res.apk" of v1.5 and not with the "framework-res.apk" which he included in the fix!..
So..after applying your Lockscreen again the battery nd android logo appear !..
Main point is - "use the framework-res.apk of Battery and android logo fix of Creeds ROM" !
Hope u understood what i meant to convey!

[Q] Lock Screen animation

hello as stated in the title, when u lock de screen does ur original i9003 phone, no root, no custom kernel or rom, have a "tv closing" animation? or do u get it when u flash a certain rom or kernel, thks in advance appreciates ur replies!

Have you previously flashed something before before you noticed this? custom ROMs? anything? I'm guessing you flashed a zip file that enabled the animation.

Actually in every GB rom the crt animation is included but its deactivated. You can simply turn it on by editing framework-res.apk
send from gt-i9003 using android keyboard

It's not available in the stock rom by default. The easiest way is to flash one of the custom themes that has the Old CRT off Animation

Use search and answer buddy. You can find it that how to activate crt off animation in any stock gb firmware by editing framework-res.apk.

Update: after installing this my phone is restarting continuously it doesn't load even the boot animation? any help for me guys

I didn't test it. Is more for devs... U extract those files with root explorer or in a rom and it works, I tested in mine..

luiseteyo, I think you should type it in the main post, so everyone would notice! I've installed it as a zip from CWM and so far what only works is crt shutdown and transparent statusbar with 1% battery.

4-way reboot for jb

hi... is there a 4-way reboot mod available that works properly with jb? can someone be kind enough to post it here? i've seen some custom roms supporting it but i cant find a thread just for the mod and a rom is too large to download just to get the mod... besides, i don't know what file it is... tnx!

I'll try, but it is going to be difficult. From what I understand, it is a change to the framework-res.apk and a android.policy.jar or something file, but they use a set matching memory code, and the framework from the rom with the reboot option will probably not be compatable with your rom, with all the other tweaks and mods made.
You're best bet would be to just flash the rom with the reboot option to make sure everything works fine. I flashed it on my 8013 and with the ondemand governor, all works fine

Try this, I haven't tested it, make sure that you make a backup in recovery first. If it flashes and the stuff is not compatible, you will be stuck in a boot loop and need to restore from recovery.
There is also a chance that it does not flash, I have had some issue with some of my zips periodically not flashing right sometimes on the note 10.1
If you get an error while trying to flash, just reboot, unzip with something like rom toolbox, then rezip it back up and then it should work.

It seems to work fine for me so far, I restored to darkman_rs and flashed the zip, Worked fine so far and the reboot works as well

1. next time please wait if i give permission to use the files from my Rom!
2. on xda there some instruction to make this mod, you have only edit android.policy.jar

Do you want me to take the link down? I had asked on your rom thread, I figured it was just a small part of it and I had been working on trying to do it myself for a while but all the guides on it I have been able to find have not worked for me.

Sorry, but for now Gimlo is the only way to have nxt framework on tipo dual & nxt framework is mandatory for the lockscreen.
If u want to try it for stock rom, in addition to the files in original post replace your framework with the one in the zip attached here.
But make a backup, coz i dont know it works on stock rom or not.

2. Move UxpNxtLockScreen.apk to system/app using any root file manager like root explorer.
3. Replace your android.policy.jar (in system/framework) with the one in attachments.
4. Reboot ur phone & ur done.
But remember to make a backup first, just in case.....

But i cant change ringtone in gimlo rom. Also have error mesaage when using wifi, that unfortunately yhe device has stopped..... You have any solution for this bugs???

Its surprising, i never encountered such problems in gimlo rom... but anyways give some more details about that.

by the way any of the 2 frameworks(with or without jb animations) that comes wid gimlo rom will do.

No, this framework wont work.
u can use the nxt framework & settings apk that come with gimlo rom for tipo dual.

i'm using gimlo ron 2.1 with vengeance kernel
my phone is TIPO DUAL
i really can't change the wallpaper from NXT Lock Settings. I have noticed that I can only change the wallpaper on lockscreen if it will come from Xperia Wallpapers but I can't do it on Album's folder. Whenever I choose a photo from the Album it directs me to crop it and after cropping it I tap on a check mark thinking that it will set as a wallpaper for locksreen but it did not. There's no option as to set it as lockscreen wallpaper.
