I use the ravpower rp-pb03 5600mah external battery, Works great!
I use what looks to be the same charger as a couple posts up -- ~$30 with a battery -- Amazon: OEM Samsung Standard Battery w/ External Battery Charger & Stand for Samsung Captivate Vibrant Epic 4G Focus

Will the usb adaptor fit the Galaxy S ?

I don't see why it wouldn't.
I bought similar product from DX, sku.18883 and has been charging about 10 times now without problem. It can charge the phone from empty to 70%.
I also bought spare lithium battery type 18650 protected, 2400mAh and an external charger for it (sku.04151). So I can replace the stock charger's battery when its empty (the battery is exchangeable). Just beware, some protected 18650 battery doesn't fit on the power adapter.

Duracell rechargeable battery question???
Instant USB charger.
5 Volt/1150mAh rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery.
0.6 AMP
Will this work for our phones???
They went on clearance on Black Friday and they still have a few left at my local store for $5.00 from the normal $19.99.
Thanks in advanced.
Works just fine, I've been using the same one for about a year now (on my mt4g and now g2x)
Is 1150mAh worth it to lug around? Probably better just to carry an extra battery around or get the extended batteries.

I have one of those extended batteries.
I need it as a emergency backup. The other day I was gone for 2 days with out a charger. I had the extended battery and forgot my charger and stock battery was with me but dead.

I have three of those extended batteries. I think I can go a week with them if I didn't have a charger handy and using the phone conservatively.

i don't see no reason it wouldn't work i read about it
It works great on a Samsung Galaxy S 4G to bad it only charges from completely dead to 75% to 80. Not bad for emergency.

I've purchased two 3500mah batteries off ebay and would like to have some sort of dock charger so I can just charge one of the batteries while my phone is using the other one. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
Did u try wirelessground.com?

Yea, but I'm only seeing a dock charger for the phone itself. I need one for a 3500mah battery.
check this out
http://www.buy.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=224072509&sellerid=16060654
and it has a slot for a 2nd battery...sooo cool
I bought a 3500mAH battery and external battery charger from Amazon. The external charger plugs into 120VAC, has a 5V USB output and a charge indicator which indicates when the battery is fully charged.
Here's Amazon.com pages for just the charger:
http://www.amazon.com/LG-Battery-Ch...B8/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1324233294&sr=8-16
http://www.amazon.com/Battery-Deskt...QF2G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1324233626&sr=8-2
I never charge my phone anymore, just switch out batteries using external charger

Have to make sure you get a charger that takes the battery right0side up (same way it goes into the phone)... On my Vibrant, I had the official Samsung spare battery charger, and it took the battery upside down. Which meant that the contacts on any extended battery wouldn't match up as the battery is too thick.
EDIT: Oh yeah, this might should be in the accessories forum....

Just curious... who is the manufacturer and how much did you pay? Looking to get extra juice myself.

Are there any external battery packs that pass micro USB data through them? I'm wanting to be able to use MHL while running power from an external battery pack.

I have used anker 2200mah external battery pack. It can charge the skyrocket about twice and it is pretty slim.
I was wondering the same thing yesterday xD

I just purchased a hyperion extended battery for my gs3,do I need a special charger, or will my wall charger be ok??

Any micro usb charger is fine including the wall charger that came with the phone.

but all cables are not equal. I lose 1% every ten minutes at dimmest brightness using google maps through gps and playing music while in my car charger.
This is with a generic usb to micro cable from the dollar store. OEM htc/smasung cables yield positive charge in the same ten minute span with the same charger and apps running.
This is with an extended battery using a usb to micro car charger that u lose 1% every ten min?

Your stock charger will be fine. If you are using any other charger or car charger make sure it is rated at 1A. Otherwise you will see very slow charging and/or the inability for your phone to keep up with discharge while using apps that discharge the battery quickly. (ie maps or navigation)
regular charger should be fine
