Gameloft revealed a new game a few hours ago - The Dark Knight Rises. It will be available on Android, so let's hope it will also be XPlay optimised.
Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrLplomkO78&feature=plcp
How can that game NOT be optimised :-D
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk 2
Absolutely love Batman, hope this is a good game. I really hope it gets optimised well.
The hell?! This looks amazing! Too amazing to be made by Gameloft.
...if the actual game reflects what they just showed there... I might have to end all my biases against them and tell them to promptly take my money. As for whether it'll be optimized or not... has anything Gameloft released lately not been Xperia Play Optimized? They seem to be pretty consistent on support... even if they're being bastards about phone storage consumption.
That looks wicked !
Release this summer.....summer is long!does anyone have a date?

It's gameloft - many games from them looks great on trailer but in real thoese games are horrible. I really don't believe in that game.

The game itself looks ok. But if they gonna release another freemium sh*t (NOVA 3 isn't, but you know what I mean...) this will be pointless.
ill be pissed if it is like men in black 3 (no xplay support), but there's always joystick center 6
Itll take an extra month for it to come to android

Gameloft... Ok, nothing interesting here.

+1 I agree just cause it looks good in a youtube video doesn't mean it'll be a good finished product. There are lots of games out there (not just xplay games) where the video makes it look great but when you actually play it are just terrible, example-> modern warfare 3 worst cod ever but video made it look great!
Sent from my R800a using XDA App
Strictly speaking on the trailer, the game looks awesome . I'd love to see a game with nice fluid combat mechanics and animations, it almost doesn't look like a Gameloft game

I've some such as Stardash, INC, Cordy, Roboto and they need to be fed. I have emulators as well.
I was wodering if there were anymore apart from those.
Have to say platformerts are lacking on the Xperia Play and they should be releasing more because the Xperia Play has physical buttons
I want originality like Mario style Platformers. So can anyone recommend me some ?
Thanks
are you kidding? there Are like over 180 games? search!
Gloomy dungeons is a decent game and it works with Xperias buttons. Just map the shoulder buttons to move left n right. :-D
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk
oh sorry thought you were looking for games in general. my bad
I would LOVE to see more shooting games like Air Attack but more in the vein of GigaWing or Dodonpachi

Get my drift, on the Japanese Android Market they have a slew of these types of games, problem is is even though I can download them they will not play as they will say my phone is capable of downloading them but hen when I go to play it says incompatible, weird. Anyway, sorry to steal your thread, I will make another on my own for this topic, just got me thinking is all....
R type is another one but its hard :-D brilliant remake aswell. And radiant hd try that.
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk
Far from lacking, there's pixeline, giana sisters, Cordy, toyshop adventures, the sonic games and quite a lot of others.

if anyone wants to see some pics click here = http://www.xperiagamer.com/Xperia-PLAY-Optimized/nba-jam.html
I just bought this game. Its good. Not great but good. Old nba hangtime is far much better. But. We dont have any basketball games...

How much was it? I'm excited this made it to android. Now the long wait for WWE Wrestlefest to be ported from ios to droid...
Now that's how to provide controls, you can used dpad or the little analogue circle thingys.
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk
What's that WWE like on Ios that sounds like it would be a good multiplayer game ;-)
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk
I was playing this on the psx emulator and loved it. This new version seems just as fun as the old arcade versions but with much nicer graphics.
Would buy if it was on the android market.
Graphics look quirky and funny, cant wait for this one.
Nba Hangtime is far better for me, because is much faster. This good is good too but little slow gameplay. Turbo button doesn't make game faster. Only way to buy is pay for this game via sms (here in poland). It cost me
2,84€/3,72$/11,98PLN. I will be glad if EA will provide paypal...
Wysłane z mojego R800i za pomocą Tapatalk
I'm in the U.S, it won't let me pay for it This ticks me off, I'm TRYING to SUPPORT the developer and PAY for a game - every time I go to pay with a credit card it gives me an error message and boots me out Im on verizon so I cant get it put on my phone bill.
Anyway I can add funds to their website and use a code to get this game? I'd really like to purchase it.
Bought.
What happens if I format my phone? How am I supposed to re-download the game?
met are you in the states? Did you purchase without sms? I cant figure out how to ?
I'm on Telstra in Australia.
I clicked on purchase and got sent an SMS a few seconds later.
How do I play via bluetooth in this game? And does it have cross platform multiplayer (android vs iOS)?
Thanks
Super Monkey Ball 2 is now officially downloadable!! It is unfortunately not Xperia Play optimized, but I wasn't really expecting that.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ooi.android.smb2
You sure that its not optimized? It should be!
Sent from my R800i using XDA
We don't understand either we got told it would be optimized in some way. Guess we have to hope for an update. But still great game.
sent from my R8ooted bad boy
Every sega game is optimized so i think it will be soon.
Sent from my R800i using XDA
Okay i tried this and i can confirm that it is not optimized, but its not that bad becouse it is a sensor only game and works nice with sensor.
I grabbed this while it`s cheap, well worth it as it runs great on the play. It is true it is not play optimized but it is still a very fun game and runs superbly.
I think that it is optimized. So it was in GTA3 also.
I can confirm it is NOT xperia play optimized. I normally dont like the sensor games but this game works extremely well on our phones and plays nice..... i would like the optimization but again this does play extremely good... just my 2 cents
What if they release the Xperia optimized version seperately and it would cost a bit more ?
That would be a sucker punch wouldnt it ?
Cannot wait to play this!
Great game, works perfecrtly
Sent from my R800i using XDA
I've just found out that the circle button works! It pauses the game.
My question is that were Sega lazy in optimizing it for the xperia play?

Thanks for the tip. It is already mine, lovely price.
Sony Released 7 new PSStore classics today. Also what's interesting is "All-Star Boxing" and "Sorcerers Maze" has the "PSP and PS3" logo next to them.
Maybe this means on some titles you won't have to rebuy your PlayStation classics? I don't know.
Has anyone previously bought these games before? Do you have to pay for them again?
Looks like Sony is slowly adding more integration to its other services
Bishi Bash Special
Silent Hill
Super Slammin' Dodgeball
Airboat Racing
Sorcerers Maze
All-star boxing
Miracle Space Race
Awww come the [email protected] on SCEA! Europe gets all the good stuff while we don't even have the PS Store running on the Xperia Play.
Ooooh, I'll definitely be picking up Silent Hill Never played it on PS1.
Sent from my Xperia Play. U jelly?
Never played? There is no scariest game, i have sh in my XP but I cant play at the moment- I remember how scary this is
Btw. Nice to see new psx titles ;-)

I've asked the live chat and Twitter about that, but as expected they don't know what the release schedule is.
Lets not forget though, that the PSStore isn't even officially released and is hidden away in the Sony website.
I mean if Japan got locoroco a few months ago I'm sure we'll be seeing at least one or two PSP games in the future
sh**
nothing special !

What I've been wondering, the PS1 games that I buy for my Play, do they also show up as bought in the PSN on my PS3? And vice versa?

You can buy Syphon Filter (PS1) from the Google Play Store, some other titles are also available.

Rico - A Tale of Two Brothers is nice if you like retro platformers. It has a real 'cave story' feel to it and it runs very smoothly on our xperia plays
