[Q] Retrieve bluetooth keyboard drivers from cm7? - LG Optimus 3D

I have read somewhere that cm on optimus 3d can connect successfully to bluetooth keyboards (and mice?). Is this correct?
The stock system cant handle bluetooth keyboards because the lack of the appropriate drivers, and I therefore wonder if would be possible to use the cm drivers without having to install cm7 and lose 3d and HDMI?
Or is there no change what so ever that we will get bluetooth mice and keyboard support on this devise?
Sincerely Henrik.

yea, that woul'd be the coolest thing to do. Whats the use of working hdmi if there is no bt hid or vice versa?

Cant get bluetooth mouse and kb working on TP

Anyone try using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard on the touch pro? I'm using stock bell rom with rocketfish bluetooth mouse and kb and was able to connect them and the service for both these devices say hid input device but when i type or use the mouse nothing happens. Do the windows mobile hid drivers not work? I gave up on getting the built in drivers to work and installed teksoft blue input. This seems to work but it is buggy as it seems to freeze my TP every once in a while. I would definitly prefer using the wm built in drivers if I can get it working.

Reverse Engineer Bluetooth Driver for Sprint TP2

I have a Sprint Touch Pro 2 and I am trying to connect a Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard and mouse that I use almost daily. I have spent more than 72 hrs researching this on XDA and other sites. The drivers are old and iGo (http://corporate.igo.com/support/Drivers.asp) is not updating them anymore.
It could be as simple as turning off the bluetooth hid, the BT stack could just be incompatible, or the existing driver could be reengineered by someone who knows what they are doing.
Interestingly, I got an old driver for WM2002 to work on the keyboard, but it is laggy, and I really need the mouse to work.
I know I can connect the keyboard using the straight bluetooth hid without special drivers but it defeats the special features on the KB.
I have tried the teksoft driver for the mouse and it does not work on my TP2 http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=bluemouse
I know XDA is for sharing, but I am willing to donate to anyone to get this setup working.
Thanks,
jonner

Connect a Playstation 3 controller to a Android device?

Hey
Is it possible to connect a Playstation 3 controller to a Android device via Bluetooth and play all the emulators like that?
If so, how?
Thanks.

Definitely not, unless someone comes out with a custom driver/app. the PS3 controller doesn't use a generic bluetooth protocol, it has it's own Sony one. To even get a ps3 controller to work over bluetooth on a PC requires both a custom application running on the PC as well as custom bluetooth drivers in order to allow your bluetooth adapter to talk to the PS3 controller. With the custom drivers loaded the ps3 controller is the only thing the bluetooth adapter will talk to.
Someone would have to do essentially the same thing for android: custom application as well as custom bluetooth drivers
Furthermore, to pair a PS3 controller to a computer or PS3 via bluetooth you must be able to connect it over USB first. You would need an Android device capable of USB host mode which are few and far between.
Has anyone tried any kind of bluetooth joystick with their Android device? Any recommendations?
The Wii mote works .. search the market for the app. Make sure your phone or rom supports HID

Why isn't it possible on Android?
It even works without extra applications on Maemo: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=66704 http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=41693
At least Honeycomb 3.1 should be able to detect it or is there another problem?

[Q] Possibility of ANT+ via USb OTG?

I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S2 which supports USB OTG, I'm trying to figure out a way to enable ANT+ for fitness apps. Their are several USB adapters such as the Suunto Movestick Mini. I was thinking I could hook up this usb stick and enable ANT+. Does anyone know if this is possible? I currently have ICS installed.
Has anyone done this on other USB OTG enabled phones?
anyone know of anything?
ANT+ via USB OTG
There was an officail anouncment about this from the ANT people the other day. With a siutable phone it should be now possible. I have made a release of my IpBike app today which in theory should work but I don't have a suitable device to test with so would be very interested in anyone getting it to work.
I would put some suitble linkes here but it looks like I can not. I have added some details to iforpowell.com

I've just upgraded my SGS2 to ICS and connected a Suunto Movestick Mini Ant+ adapter using an USB OTG cable in order to be able to use my fitness sensors (HR belt and speed/cadence sensors from Garmin) and it works like a charm thanks to the great softwares created by ifor.
But be careful because after rooting my phone the new kernel was unable to handle the ANT USB driver and therefor it stopped working. After a few attempts i found that using a Siyah kernel (currently v4.0.1) will restore the ability to use again my Ant adapter and sensors.

Maybe others did tried to hook up a BT keyboard but it didn't work. Might not be related to but I think that as long as eLGy won't have USB Host feature there won't be anything that could be attached to, not even BT keyboard. Honestly, if you want to use your computer or a keyboard to type in your messages you can use AirDroid - search it on Google play.
It's an app that through the same Wifi on which are connected PC and Android phone let's you administrate your phone - it does almost everything, including typing messages, only calls are a NO at this moment.
I use it. Cause anyway...to have your BT keyboard always with you I, in my humble opinion, don't find it so convenient cause I'm a fast typer with standard on screen keyboard.
From my personal experience - and this goes to USB Host feature, I saw it on tablet or anyway on devices with big batteries, something like from 2500mAh in up. I had two Archos tablets that had this feature.
Hope that helps.
Install Cyanogenmod, then your bluetooth keyboard will work. Stock ROM will never work with Bluetooth Input(keyboard etc)
