Reverse Engineer Bluetooth Driver for Sprint TP2 - General Questions and Answers

I have a Sprint Touch Pro 2 and I am trying to connect a Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard and mouse that I use almost daily. I have spent more than 72 hrs researching this on XDA and other sites. The drivers are old and iGo (http://corporate.igo.com/support/Drivers.asp) is not updating them anymore.
It could be as simple as turning off the bluetooth hid, the BT stack could just be incompatible, or the existing driver could be reengineered by someone who knows what they are doing.
Interestingly, I got an old driver for WM2002 to work on the keyboard, but it is laggy, and I really need the mouse to work.
I know I can connect the keyboard using the straight bluetooth hid without special drivers but it defeats the special features on the KB.
I have tried the teksoft driver for the mouse and it does not work on my TP2 http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=bluemouse
I know XDA is for sharing, but I am willing to donate to anyone to get this setup working.
Thanks,
jonner

MS Bluetooth mouse on PPC?

I know Stowaway make a bluetooth mouse for PPC, but can I get my MS one working with my XDA2i with some kind of HID driver that will recognise a BT mouse?
I already have a serial Stowaway keyboard, having a mouse too would make this a fantastic set-up.
I can't believe with all the other techies on here nobody has tried?
a search proved that somebody have

a google search resulted in this

Well I could have easily topped up old posts that hadn't actually solved this question
I chose not to though, and my very first line was "I know Stowaway make a bluetooth mouse for PPC" so your google link didn't help much either.
I have managed to use HID drivers for a USB connected mouse on my Toshiba e800, but the fact remains, I do not have a Stowaway mouse, nor do I like topping old posts, especially where nothing was actually solved.
Has anyone got anything actually useful to post here?

Cant get bluetooth mouse and kb working on TP

Anyone try using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard on the touch pro? I'm using stock bell rom with rocketfish bluetooth mouse and kb and was able to connect them and the service for both these devices say hid input device but when i type or use the mouse nothing happens. Do the windows mobile hid drivers not work? I gave up on getting the built in drivers to work and installed teksoft blue input. This seems to work but it is buggy as it seems to freeze my TP every once in a while. I would definitly prefer using the wm built in drivers if I can get it working.

App to make a diamond act as a BT keyboard?

Is there such an app or way, that will allow the Diamond or Diamond Pro to act as a bluetooth keyboard to another device, i.e. PS3, laptop? If there is, will you please let me know what it is? It could be useful for so many things.
Have you tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427097 it will alow you to use the keyboard and mouse and a few other cool things
thank you very much.
to use it as bluetooth is such a hassle though unfortunately

[Q] Atrix Keyboard with Charge

Thinking the Droid Charge supports the HID bluetooth profile, I purchased the Atrix keyboard; however, I cannot seem to pair it. I put the keyboard in pairing mode and then scan for Bluetooth devices. On the Charge I select the "Motorola Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard" from the menu and am given a message "Enter xxxxxx to pair with ...". This message disappears in less than a second and I'm given the error message "Unable to establish communication with ...". I never have the chance to enter the code on the keyboard ...
Any thoughts? Thanks for your help.
I believe I read somewhere that this was supposed to support the HID profile out of the box I'm not 100% sure though. You could try one of the HID drivers from the marketplace I think one is called blueinput or something similar. Post back if you get it working cause I would really like to have a wireless mini keyboard for this phone as well.
Sent from my SCH-I510 using XDA App
i'm not sure if this is helpful, but I paired a bluetooth mouse with my Charge, using no special drivers. I would like to know if a bluetooth keyboard would work with it though.

If you can get a mouse to work without having any special drivers/apps to support it then it at least means that the phone does support HID protocols which would mean that generic bluetooth keyboards should work. If the keyboard requires some sort of special driver that is installed after pairing it most likely won't work, though.

I should clarify and update this - the device I have is a bluetooth presentation remote/mouse. It can switch between mouse mode and presenter mode. It works for a few minutes, but then loses connection. It works fine with a computer, so I don't think there's a problem with the remote.
You can connect the Charge to BT keyboard and don't have to root..
Thanks to another member TylerMF you CAN probably pair the Atrix (also for Xoom) keyboard.

He connected his BT keyboard to an Evo successfully.
I have a Samsung CHARGE and I had the same struggle, but followed his instructions and am now connected to both the Atrix/Xoom keyboard and a Logitech bluetooth mouse.
Very nice!

[Q] Anyone Having Issue with Apple Magic Mouse on the m8?

Has anyone else been able to successfully pair an Apple Magic Mouse with the m8 using the stock ROM? I can pair my Apple Wireless Keyboard (A1314) and use it just fine, but the Magic Mouse (A1296) doesn't even show up when I'm searching for Bluetooth devices.
I have tried another mouse (namely, a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 which belongs to a friend) and it works perfectly fine. The Magic Mouse works flawlessly with the VZW/GPE ROM that is in the works elsewhere on this forum, but sadly I cannot continue using the ROM since it's not complete enough for me yet.
Any tips on how to get this thing to [at least] show up?
