Has anyone used these Clairvue Screen Protectors for the G2? If so, how are they and did you get the ultra-clear or anti-glare?
I have the ultra-clear one and it is so clear I can't tell it's there. It's easy to apply, Looks great, and feels almost exactly like the glass underneath it. You can't even tell it's there. I highly recommend them.

just ordered one too
Ordered mine since I loved them on my Nexus One. I got the UltraClear as well!
I think I'm gonna order the privacy finish one.
I've been looking for a decent quality static cling screen protector. This one sounds pretty good. Does anyone have the Anti-Glare one? How does it look? Does it darken the screen much? Does it keep finger prints off?

I believe all anti-glare films, regardless of the brand, will do that and also decrease the clarity of the screen. It's just how they work.
I bought Clarivue ultra clear the same time i ordered my otterbox, the otterbox screen protector was really good. But the Clarivue protector is amazing, install was not hard at all. I did an amazing job installing it no bubbles or lint at all. I showed the phone to my friend and he couldn't believe that i had a screen protector on. The cut is perfect covers the whole screen. When you install it make sure you put some tape on the edges, it will be easier to align the protector. i took pics of the phone with the screen protector on, i was just trying to show that no lint is present.
These protectors are awesome. No one could tell that I even have a screen protector on! They fit extremely well and feel exactly like the glass, unlike zagg or similar which gives you a rubbery feel and creates more friction than anything else (annoying as hell if you use swype). Highly recommend!
Been using them for years, love them, thats all I buy for my devices, thats the first thing I do when I get a new device is get the Clarivue screen protector.
Just ordered the Ultra Clear screen protector.
Free world wide shipping!
just orderd one to my mobile to, its so easy to put on in the video i saw. thx for the coupon 2
i recived mine today. its pretty good but the ****ing problem that annoys me is that its not exactly cut!! it doesnt cover the whole screen... is urs perfect fit or should i contact them?
i have the clarivue anti-glare and its decent but this is probably the second anti-glare ive ever bought for a phone so i don't have much experience with them. compared to the first one i bought from tmobile its definitely an upgrade... fingerprints are visible after a while and the screen is diminished a bit but overall i do like it. the cut isn't perfect as it doesn't cover certain areas completely but i mean its like a millimeter off.

I had to take off the ultra clear screen protector, because it got scratched up. Could not stand all the scratches. I installed the second one, but its not a perfect fit like the first clarivue protector. Im not sure why the second was was not a perfect fit, but i will leave it on.
Does anyone have a new coupon code?
the protect331 expired...
Alright I got the new code, just ordered the Anti-Glare screen protector.
I'm pretty satisfied with the ultra clear protector, so now i'm trying these out.
Dratz, I should have checked this forum before I bought mine, haha.
I grabbed http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220676439684 for $3.99
I'll let you guys know if its any good.
I,was waiting for HTC Desire Z screen protectors to hit the market because I can't order anything...
after 3 months of use my screen protector started to loose (mostly because of the dust i got between the display glass and the protector when i mounted it)
i have dropped keys and a heavy metallic cigarette lighter on my phone while i had my screen protector on and i noticed when removed it today that my screen looked as it did when my phone were brand new
Mounted the new protector today (since i got 2 when i ordered it) without getting any dust particles under it and it still looks brand new
Too bad the rest of my phone starts to look quite used
Should i use screen protrctor on sensation. Is it really necessary,i know that sensation has a gorilla glass.

If you have any plans on possibly selling the phone down the line? I'd slap a screen protector on it. You can get 10 for a dollar from China. If you plan on running the phone into the ground and don't care about selling it for any decent amount of cash down the line, don't worry about it.
Also, gorilla glass may be tough, but a single grain of sand rubbed the wrong way can scratch it.

Personal I would choose it, even if it is a scratch-free glass
The screen protectors do not stick verygood on the curved glass. You keep on getting dust under the protector in the corners.
Nope, screen protectors are useless for a phone with Gorilla Glass.
Spend your money elsewhere.
I used to have screen protector for over a year, few days ago i removed it and man... my screen never looked better it's like getting a new phone
I work in an relatively dusty environment. no screen protector. 15 months down the line.. screen is pristine. once a month clean it with a microfiber cloth or a soft cotton
cloth removes all smudges. I've even kept keys and phone in the same pocket while riding a bicycle. No scratch on screen. Luckily had a case which protected the body.

I use to screen protector, but I removed it.
Its all on the user of the phone. You can get them dirt cheap on the Internet. So why not keep your screen looking brand new.

Our sensation has a good screen, it sustains a lot of crap without a scratch, in depends on the conditions but for normal use, it would be reducing the quality of the visibility .

I removed screen protector, because it did annoy me. swiping was quite unpleasant. (maybe bcoz of low quality?)
I belive this phone is too old for screen protectors
Screen protectors are a total waste of money with this device, and an hindrance with most others.

i prefer to use screen protector. screen is godd, but is better use a screen
However it suits you.
I mean, a dollar for 6 - 10 pieces... it's hardly a waste of money. Me? I use a screen protector and a case because I often switch cases (work, free time, Crossfit) and i realy hate any kind of scratches and other kind of prints so i wipe the phone here and there.
Hello and from me. I have my htc xe 2 months and use screen protector. I think that looses on touch. Also use pull tab cover. Think to stop use them. Cover is enough
I used a flip case and everythinks is Ok

2 years without screen protector and no scratches at all. I use only Capdase silicone case.

actually, don't worry too much. i've used mediadevil on my S2 and it's been great. they're available for the S4 too.
Actually, you don't need to apply any protector to your phone, if you can stand for very minor scratch to your screen.
The corning glass is excellent scratch proof, I have been using no screen protector since my first iPhone 4 and coming with samsung s3, s4, iphone 5 and etc.... What you get is a better screen, color and contrast if you just don't mind the minor scratches.

Using a Mime Glass protector and all the things you mention aren't affected at all. Color and contrast: same. Screen: better, while protected :good:

Maybe I've been using the wrong kind of screen protector, but all the ones i've used have a weird feel/touch to them that doesn't feel the same as the screen, so I don't use them
Never had a cracked/scratched screen either. Knock on wood. Maybe it's just luck

I use the iloome screenmate flex. It is really thin and it feels like nothing is on the screen, the touch sensitivity is great. I haven't used any of the other ones but this one gas been great.

You've seen two SGS4's side by side, one with and one without the Mime protector yes? And you really saw a noticable difference?
In that case: highly impressed by your amazing eye-sight :good:
I bought a cheap glass screen protector off of amazon. It was some generic one from China. With Amazon prime free shipping I couldn't pass it up.
pros: super clear, finger print resistant, protects screen well
cons: breaks after some abuse (though better this than the screen)
When my first one broke after considerable abuse I ordered two more to replace it. at $10 it wasn't bad. When the one I have on now breaks, I'll just pop my backup on and order another spare.
This cheap and the feel of real glass vs the Ghost Armor I had before, it's great.

I got mine on eBay and have the same philosophy. The glass fells like the screen and under abuse the tempered glass will crack.
It happened to me recently and I installed my spare and bought two more.
Can't beat the way the glass ones look and feel.
I also bought an aluminum button to extend the factory button. So now the home button is not recessed.
I have had my iloome screenmate for a good while and it hasn't cracked or anything and it has been used.
Glass is the only way to go

Spigen glass t. Glass is the best imo
I'm rolling with Spigen Glast Nano Slim.

If glass has suddenly become the "only way to go", where were we these past many years? I'm not paying upwards of $20 for a fancy screen protector when my cheap plastic one works very well. Can someone please come to my house and show me this apparent difference??

$20 is cheap insurance to protect your screen. A plastic one isn't going to protect your screen from damage. It may protect it from scratches but not from being busted if your phone is dropped.
DieselDawg
You can't go wrong with the SPIGEN SGP Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector, once you install it correctly it really holds and protects the screen from pocket scruffs.
My cousin got into a motorcycle accident last year and the screen protector w/ the Spigen slim armor case protected his phone.
Tempered glass is the only thing for me from now on. $5 on eBay. Feels excellent, optically clear to me. Same screen sensitivity to me.
No need to blow 20+$ on big names. I break it, buy 5 more. No big deal.
Buy plastic sheets and the scratch and peel off in a week.
Even no name temp glass is better.
For me is the anti-glare screen protectors, for read is the best choice.
Hi
I bought this screen protector from ebay:
http://www.ebay.es/itm/360-Rotation...=LH_DefaultDomain_15&var=&hash=item19f116b708
I know... its from china from ebay... so I cant expect too much quality.. but I never had problems before buying0 the cheapest protector for other devices...
Anyway, this protector fits really good BUT the quality of the image in the screen looks so much worse through the protector...
I just want a protector that fits and does not modify the quality of the screen... so I think I dont need an expensive tempered glass or other high tecnhologies. ( i just got my new GearIt 360 cover that its great and I have enough protection, so I just want a screen protector to avoid wear and little scratches)
Anyone has found something like that? Do you have something like that?
Thanks!!

I also own this. It's definitely worth the $17 or so. I haven't noticed any compromises whatsoever with clarity and feel.

Will Skinomi fit my SM-705 8.4 model (LTE)? I see that there is no cut hole on the top for the speaker..
I bought for my tab s 10.5 a screen protection called "screen guard" from Filmset it's made in Japan, and I can say it's perfect, no blur effect, it's really clear.

I tired multiple ones either their too big and causes halo effect or too small , so i opted for ones with black border and i am happy with it and so i would suggest goto a local shop check it out so you can see size .
I bought multiple screen protectors but gadgetshieldz offered amazing screen protector. Yes it is not tempered glass but its quality is really good and the phone feels slimmer since its not a tempered glass. If you dont have butter fingers and your phone doesnt fall often then go for it.
I tried all the variants and brands on the market. Finally settled on using a hydrogel screen protector. It is not available on any online stores but local shops definitely have them. Though it may not provide the drop protection that glass protectors provide, it is resistant to scratches and you will not even know it's there. It covers the front from edge to edge. Again, it is not very high on shatter level protection but it is great for light users like me.

Try looking for TG's for Lenovo Z5 Pro/Z5 Pro GT.
It have the same dimensions as our device.
I purchased one from glazedinc. It costs about 495, I know it'a a bit steep, but for what it's worth it covers the entire display and has real 2.5d on the edges. It really feels like using the phone without a tampered glass. From what I heard as it covers the entire screen it also provides better drop protection.
I got one from a local shop for Rs.80 ($1.10). No black borders, covers the screen display portion exactly.
