What are you talking about? Of course I know what the Wildfire S is... I know it runs at 600mhz default. I don't know if it can be clocked any higher though.
Desire S • Fallout V2.0.0 • xda premium

Sorry my mistake,
It can be over clocked if your running a custom rom , am running cyanogenmod 9
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using XDA

Well that answers your question then.
Desire S • Fallout V2.0.0 • xda premium

Most of the wildfire s roms overclock to 806MHz, that doesn't mean your particular handset will be stable at that speed
just like pc CPU's you get good and bad yields. I have been running mine @806MHz for over a year with no issues.
There are also some kernels and custom roms that overclock to 864MHz although I wouldn't recommend using those speeds daily as heat and battery drain will be an issue.

The phone has a thermal throttle that slow down cpus when reaching high temperature to preven your board to melt down!!!!!!! So i think you may not get paranoid

htc one x theme on htc sensation home screen

what you guys think of my sensation home screen
im using beautiful widgets with zenithmod (first download beautifulwidgets then download zenith from within bw, then install this mod here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23243255)
im running hypernonsense 1.4 at the moment
not bad, but the real sense 4.0 is much better
The clock is REALLY messed up, but looking quite nice otherwise there are sense 4.0 roms available if you'd like, virtuous or trip, either one

I overclocked my sensation to 1.566 and its stuck.

I overclocked my sensation using app no-frills and I want to declock my phone and its stuck on 1.566 I can't get it back down to 1.2.Does anyone have any suggestions? If I installed a faux kernel would that help. It's killing my battery.I have a 1900 mah battery and I have to competely charge it twice aday.any grip please...

Remove the no frills app.Buy Setcpu off the market (or find it for free on here using search) install it and choose a lower frequency then set on boot,Also check what governor you are using as "performance" or "on demand" are performance biased.I'd use lagfree or conservative
Hey how do you get set CPU free of here?how does that work and thanks for the info and yes I uninstalled no-frills a week ago.

Simple Google search: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=SetCPU
4th link down.
The UI pretty self explanatory. Move the slider up or down to change the speeds.

Isn't cheating any company or anything out of money against the rules of this forum? ( in this case whoever made setcpu app)

Please reference this post.
test system tunner ...
available in market
I wasn't saying use google to get "Warez" simply that MHuang made it free to XDA users in the G1 forums years ago and as far as im aware he still does!
To the OP,
You are obviously quite new to the device,I suggest trolling the forums for the sensation (Q&A,General) and read the posts. It'll take a while but ALL the info you will ever need has probably been asked before
Don't ask the same things over and over please op

Re: Samsung SGS or Htc desire hd
May I ask why you have narrowed it down to these particular devices?
Hardware wise, theyre similar, so its personal preference of sense or touchwiz
Also, do you plan on rooting it?
