The phone has a thermal throttle that slow down cpus when reaching high temperature to preven your board to melt down!!!!!!! So i think you may not get paranoid

i also got something between 12 and 16 hours without charging, depending on the usage. I use stock ICS with SebastianFM 1.4.0 kernel and EVO 3D battery.

If it is a completely stock ROM for your network carrier then it should be identical and it won't heat up your phone, of course it will heat up if you are playing games for a while and similar things. I would recommend Android revolution if you wanted stock look and better performance though

Stock rom normally wont cause heat issue, but definitely heat up if use overclock kernel.
Where do you guys get this from? I've used ruus and they overheated loads so I'm using cyanogenmod and its all cool. fyi it didn't overheat when I was using miui with overclock to 1.7ghz.

It used to overheat at EVERYTHING, you not believe this but it was hot after a reboot, even like 5 minutes of internet browsing on 3g burned the phone. Now on on cyanogenmod it doesn't overheat even after 30 minutes of browsing on full brightness.

I don't know what your setup is, but you may want to post this in your rom's thread to see if others experience the same...

[Q] HTC EVO 3D battery or Anker 1900mah battery

I'm confusing choosing an extra battery for my Sensation, the Anker one is a little more expensive, but is it worth it ?
Edit: wrong section I guess, someone helps me move this to the right place, much appreciate
I use an Anker Evo 3G its as you say a fraction larger, works well no issue 5 or 6 hours extre life - more on low usage
i also have an anker (about 18€ ~ 27 $ ) and it's totally worth it.
my battery lasts 3 hours on very heavy usage longer than on the standart sensation one
To be honest I don't want the battery to explode in my phone

I overclocked my sensation to 1.566 and its stuck.

I overclocked my sensation using app no-frills and I want to declock my phone and its stuck on 1.566 I can't get it back down to 1.2.Does anyone have any suggestions? If I installed a faux kernel would that help. It's killing my battery.I have a 1900 mah battery and I have to competely charge it twice aday.any grip please...
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
Remove the no frills app.Buy Setcpu off the market (or find it for free on here using search) install it and choose a lower frequency then set on boot,Also check what governor you are using as "performance" or "on demand" are performance biased.I'd use lagfree or conservative
Hey how do you get set CPU free of here?how does that work and thanks for the info and yes I uninstalled no-frills a week ago.

Simple Google search: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=SetCPU
4th link down.
The UI pretty self explanatory. Move the slider up or down to change the speeds.

Isn't cheating any company or anything out of money against the rules of this forum? ( in this case whoever made setcpu app)

I wasn't saying use google to get "Warez" simply that MHuang made it free to XDA users in the G1 forums years ago and as far as im aware he still does!
To the OP,
You are obviously quite new to the device,I suggest trolling the forums for the sensation (Q&A,General) and read the posts. It'll take a while but ALL the info you will ever need has probably been asked before
Don't ask the same things over and over please op
