What's is the best tmous ROM?

I'm looking to stick with tmous roms for now because I didn't do step 4 on the s off guide. Anyone know which one will provide the best speed and smoothness?

I use Virtuous Sensation and I really like the advanced quick settings and that its available in ROM Manager so I can updates from there. Its smooth and I have more RAM available than on stock. No bloat and no annoying TMo startup/shutdown animations

Does it get rid of the jagged scrolling in the apps draw?

You mean how it scrolls in pages? If so, it still does that, its a Sense 3 thing. When I'm scrolling through all the pages I don't see any hicccups.

Slimsense and civic roms are the best for me. Both run real smooth and fast with great data speeds.

all the tmobile us roms are good they all are stock base with a few tweaks try anyone there no faster than each other i tried them all even the new one training wheels

Could touchwiz be Ported to the sensation? It would be really nice to have a full sgs2 rom

every launcher there is (literally)

Bumping because I have tried every apk on my phone and the screen indicator is in the middle of the screen on every one. Please,someone tell me you have touchwiz running on your sensation

It's not out as EVERYONE thinks TouchWiz is one of the worst Launchers available. If you want it you're going to have to port it yourself - or get an SGS2

Touchwiz was one of the main reasons I bought the Sensation. It just looked (and felt rubbish)

For every 1 who wants TouchWiz on the Senation, there are a million who don't. It's not worth the time/hassle to port it for such a small user base

Well some devs here at xda see a request and once they start,more attention comes. I think touchwiz is pretty cool in ways sense isn't. Of course its not comparable to sense overall,but its better than motoblur.

Can anyone mod the custom touchwiz launcher to fit the sensation? I know it will work on 4.3 inch screen but.I'm guessing the problem is that the sensation screen is qhd

The problem is, no one really likes TW. I've had a Samsung device and all the custom ROMS were TW free.

Yeah but there also a lot that love touchwiz. The team that made the custom touchwiz has themes and give it all kind of support. This is kind of like a request,just hopin a dev picks up on it

In the original galaxy s forum there is a launcher called Touch wiz 4.5 its pretty good but there is a modded version that fits in our phone ill send you the apk later I don't have my computer at the moment. And if you install the wizmod2 theme if you have cm7 it looks better

I found something pretty cool in the ics roms

If you go to system settings go to about phone and if you tap in Android version repeatedly a little android robot pops up and if you long press on the robot it does a cool live wallpaper type thing. Just throwing it out there in case no one knew

This is a really old thing which was working in older ROMs aswell ;-)
But this seems to work not in the original HTC versions like for my phone :-(

Yeah the Gingerbread one wasn't that cool. It was just a picture of a zombie ginerbread android guy. It was kind of creepy.

not working for me Insertcoin 4.3.2

Lol, I figured out why I couldn't get the animation working.
Tap on "Android Version" in the about menu very fast and repeatedly until the screen changes.
Then long press on the android guy, and when I vibrates, drag diagonally to make him bigger, once he fills the screen, then you get the animation.

Im on energy ics rom and i went onto leedroid tweaks and chose ultrasmooth rosie but same 3d effect on scrolling perhaps you can help me out

I guess the OP means the homescreen Caroussel effect;
As far as I know you can remove the unlock Caroussel effect with mods like LeedroidTweeks just with a single tick in the options.
But the Caroussel which you are talking about will still remain. The question is
on what version of sense they have disabled it on the EVO, is it 3.0 , 3.5 or 3.6.
But as they are really similar devices someone should be able to port this
to the Sensation as well.

He means the normal 2d scrolling where the icons all flat and scroll along with the wallpaper like in sense 2.1 and the majority of launchers. Currently it isn't available for the sensation man someone would have to port it which shouldn't be to hard since both phones are similar.

Use the Ultra Smooth Rosie mod. Won't make the wallpaper scroll, but it'll stop the 3D transition effect.

Dear xda members,
I am using virtiqious rom on my sensation with nova launcher. In sense 3.5 & sense 3.6 whenever i slided down my notificationbar there was a section with my recent apps(multitask). Is there anyway i can get that section with recent apps back in my virtiqious rom with nova launcher? Thnx in advance!

Try installing LeeDroid tweeks. There's a tweak to show/hide recent apps. I no it runs well wit ARHD 6.6.3 sense 3.6.

The roms that i use dont have sense, im using AOS(K)P ROMs. Leedroid tweaks dont work with non-sense roms, right?

It's not gonna work because it relies on Sense...if you don't believe, do a nandroid first, install the tweaks, and if you need to you can restore your nandroid.

I've seen a similar mod for Xperia Arc I think. You could have a look and ask the dev how it's done then try to modify the framework to get it working on Sensation. Would be a lot of work though. I'd rather just hold the home button
