This happened 3 times so far. I send a text and sometime later (longest period was a week) the same text was resent without me doing anything.

My friend's HOX did it at least one time. She sent me a video and that was resent after a few days automatically...
I have not personally had a text sent multiple times, but i do recieve messages 2 to 5 times randomly. It will be perfetly functioning, then they send me a message and I recieve it multiple time && Their phone only shows one message sent.
but now that i'm writing this i know ill look at my HOX and ill have a repeted sent message XD
Ive had that with other phones before but not this one yet I think its a network thing.

My phone is randomly sending text messages to people. Usually it is a duplicate of a text I sent to them a day or so prior. Now today it sent a message that I never even typed.
I've seen some random dscussion about this but no solutions.
I'm running cm7, but this issue has happened on other ROMs as well.
Any ideas?

Well since CM7 is still in alpha testing, that was my first guess.
If its happening on other ROMs, then its probably a network issue.
This has never happened to me but I do sometimes receive duplicate texts from people on Verizon. This has been confirmed to be a network issue.

Have new text messages and new emails that don't show up as numbers on the SMS or mail app? Anyone have this issue?
I did have this issue. When it happened to me I was actively using the phone and didn't get the notification at all for some reason.
Is this the scenario that it happened for you? or was your screen locked?
I've had it happen multiple times since Saturday. Just checked and I had over 4 texts that i never was notified about.

I think that's what happened. Yesterday I got a text: no notification, no sound, no vibration, and no badge. Had no clue I had a text until this morning.

So any idea why this is happening and how to stop it from happening?
Every once in a while my phone will randomly stop calling (both ways) and sending or receiving texts. It still says I have service. Only way to fix it is reboot.
Anybody else experiencing this?

You would be around the 7th person I've seen mention this (myself included). I swapped it out for another HOX and haven't had an issue since.
I had this happen to me but I figured it was because I was indoors. My signal on all my devices is weak indoors (in my home) so I wasn't sure what to think. So far I only seen it happen one day. Then again, I only had the phone a couple days. lol

Anyone having issues with the text messaging font size not being consistent? Every so often it goes from med to small then back again. This is in a text conversation.

Yeah, actually I have noticed that. Mine was small this morning and then I had taken a screenshot and the phone froze and rebooted and when it came back up it was the med again and then later on it went back to smaller.

Yes it keep changing size, I think it depends how long the lady text was, if it long or short but not sure, but you could always zoom out and make the font to the smallest
I thought I was seeing things as I was having the same thing going on. I just switched to Go SMS app. Lets me choose the max MMS size and keep original resolution which was why I wanted to switch in the first place.
There are several threads about people having problems with the SMS app randomly changing text size. However remember that just posting about it here isn't going to fix anything. We all have to make sure to contact HTC so they know it is a problem affecting a lot of people and get it fixed.

So. I'm still new to the phone, about 3 weeks now. Everything is great but my texting issues.
The first week was fine, than all the sudden every text I send is market as pending. So I can't tell if a text sends or but. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, I have no idea.
Though with this issue, I restarted my phone yesterday I realized my phone sent 4 people texts that I sent a week ago, just sent after I restarted.
What's the deal? How do I fix it?

I can tell you how i fixed my issue when something similar was happening to me. I had this issue on my previous phone as well so i figured after getting this phone and it continued it had to be something to do with my account setup. Some kind of glitch. So after getting fed up with Tech support I had my network account manager have all my features and account removed, then added back on like it was a new account. Then I did a factory reset and woila! My network signal is stronger than ever. Texts send instantly! Faster than I have ever seen them send! lol.
