HTC to unveil Q4 Windows Mobile lineup October 1 & 2

from http://www.stockhouse.ca/mediascan/news.asp?newsid=9206882
There are some real chances that we will learn more about HTC's recently unveiled HTC Kii soon. The Taiwanese handset maker just invited the press to its two European events in the UK (Monday, October 1st) and Germany (Tuesday, October 2nd) to officially unveil its Q4-2007 line-up of Windows Mobile smartphones.
While HTC hasn't given any further information of what we can expect, I'm sure we will see (again) some familiar faces like the HTC Shift, maybe the HTC Nike (which was already announced in Japan as NTT DoCoMo FOMA HT1100) and most likely HTC's new flagship smartphone, the (which hasn't had it's launch event so far).
But maybe we will also see some new faces like the above mentioned HTC Kii, the HTC Polaris, and the (by some) heavily awaited HTC Omni.

i REALLY hope that the OMNI shows up, i'd hate to watch 2007 go into 2008 and think OMNI never existed but in the dreams of UNIVERSAL owners everywhere

ICS release dates rumored for Bell Mobility's HTC Sensation, Raider, and Samsung Gala

I know that HTC is planning to release ICS on quite a few of their handsets 1st Quarter of next year, but the carriers are going to be the bottleneck for when the update actually goes live to handsets. If bell mobility is to release their ICS for Sensation build first, this would make the dev for the device a lot less of a headache.

If you had any doubts that we're officially in the "When's my Ice Cream Sandwich update coming" season, let us put them to rest. Beyond the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S, the big question is how manufacturers will roll out Android 4.0 in conjunction with their custom skins and software. Sony Ericsson is making strong headway, and now Mobile Syrup is giving us our first hints for some other devices. A leaked internal document from Bell in Canada has estimated release dates for a few top-tier Android smartphones:
HTC Sensation — February 2012
HTC Raider — March 2012
Samsung Galaxy S II — April 2012
LG Optimus LTE — TBD
Obviously these rumored estimates are unofficial and probably subject to change, but at least its a solid sign that ICS is in the works for some of the more popular 2011 smartphones. The frozen north appears to be getting ready for this frozen treat, will US carriers keep up?

October update downloaded, no One UI 2.5 yet

Strange that they started rolling out One UI 2.5 for the note 9 but didn't for the S9 lineup as there were some articles about.
I just received the october patch update for my S9+ and I'm still on 2.1.
This means we may get it separately or may not get it at all this month.
I received the One UI 2.5 Update Yesterday, with the October Patch. S9+, Germany.
I wonder if whoever got the october update without it will get a separate patch or we'll have to wait until the November update.
November update and no One UI 2.5 yet in SM-96500.
One UI 2.5 installed about a week ago on my T-Mobile S9+. Nov security patch just about 1 hr ago.
