Hello sensation

So yes another one of these threads. I'm not bashing on the g2x at all it is a great phone... However since I upgraded to it and had hardware issues software issues even after the gb update I did what any upset customer would do. Called tmobile and complained then filed a bbb complaint after recieving 4 replacement phones. They then responded by offering me the sensation. YES it was worth it. This phone imo is truely better it functions flawlessly no lag no dropped signal no WiFi issues and great data connections.
So if any of you are in the process of deciding to keep or swap. Take my word for it and just get rid of your headache and get the sensation. It's 100% worth it.
Best decision made so far regarding phones.
And yes I know this is one giant run-on my phone typing and grammar skills with autocorrect and the new keyboard is a little shakey.

thanks, most likely im just gonna post it on ebay
it has a small crack on the screen (and ive watched other cracked ones that have been going for around $150)
which would be sweet cuz it would cover the cost of my one x

very nice, have you tried out a one x yet, im loving it.
the screen not only looks, but feels much nicer to me

I'm picking up my one x on Sunday. They were out of the white one so I waited for it. Yea its a nice phone. I started out with an HTC phone so I've always been partial to the smoothness of sense. Never really liked touchwiz much.
Much smoother than touchwiz huh? Transitions are super smooth. Almost like iPhone smooth.

yeah i really am surprised with how fast it is, especially considering its stock.
some people call it a lagless experience, i would say its close to it.
cant wait till we get rom's going, considering its already incredible.

Well, ive officially decided to sell my infuse , i love this phone but i just want something new...not sure what im gonna ger it depends on how much i end up selling my infuse
I think im gonna miss the infuse community the most...you guys are so helpful and friendly for noobs and those who know a lot...this phone has served me well...and still is a great phone...sadly me teenage brain has gotten bored of it and wants something new tk mess around with...so at best ill have my infuse for a few more days...already been offerd 235 for it...
So with all that said...goodbye infuse community, you will be missed but i will still stop by from time to time...

Best wishes to you as you get your next phone. Have you considered holding on to your Infuse to develop on as you use the next phone as a daily driver? It will be at least another year before I even consider another phone, but when I do, I'll definitely be holding on to the Infuse to tinker on. Just a thought, though I know that $235 is pretty tempting for a high school student.

That's funny, I do the exact opposite. I use my One X for development and my Infuse as my daily driver.

Mg, are you gonna keep it Samsung or are you gonna branch out to another manufacturer?

I think im gonna go for a dif manufacturer that way its completely new...almost had a buyer on craigslist for 235 was supposed to meet the guy at 3pm but now hes unsure...next in line is a guy on xda for the same price but i would have to pay for shipping :/

I have been in that road back and fourth after trading my iPhone 4 32g for the Infuse and I do not regret it one bit. I would wait for the Galaxy S3 if i were you unless you have a reason not to. Ex: smaller screen. That is my plan as soon as prices come down a little.

thanks for all that you contributed to the forums man. But, I agree with everyone else up there, keep it. Just to tinker on. Maybe rip it apart and go to town on it you know.

I miss the superamoled screen...but other than that the vivid seems like a greatphone so far...although the micfousb port is in the most awkward spot...right on the bottom left side making it uncomfortable to use it while charging...but a dual core 1.2 GHz processor (that was actually underclocked by HTC...its normal speed is 1.5GHz or so I've read...), 1GB of ram phone for what was pretty much a trade for the infuse...I'm satisfied...but I do miss that screen lol
Plan on staying stock for a while so j cM figure out this thing they call sense lol
I also found out...in order to get LTE I need a new sim that supports it...

True...didn't want to have to deal with eBay though...plus my mom probably wouldn't have let me...she didn't even let me sell it here-she is against shipping or something...whatever though so far I'm satisfied...downloading the ics update for the vivid...can't wait to USD fully working ics...

Well...I just wanted to try something completely new...my dad has the atrix so I'm kinda used to motoblur, I'm used to touchwiz...never used an HTC device though so I just wanted to get one...the vivid was just right for the price...couldn't afford a one x and didn't want to downgrade...so I sold the infuse and added $5 to that money and bought the vivid...it just kinda worked out, wasn't like I was out on a hunt for only a vivid...just got it cause it was inexpensive and it was dual core with more ram...

I know what he meant. But I found it funny and the "thanks?" was just a miss type . I did consider it for the fact that it's a pure android phone.

Dont, the nexus is actually an inferior phone to the one x in a lot of ways. Firstly the camera. And secondly its using a last gen snapdragon processor. Wayy more heat and lesser performance. And dont expect the nexus to even come close to the hox in battery life (owned both phones)
the only thing the nexus has on the hox is jellybean, but that isnt worth all the cons.
Total ripoff trade for you imo.

Hey guys. It's sad for me to say, but I just sold my One X tonight. Someone offered me a price I couldn't refuse. I just bought a Galaxy Note 10.1 so I may also get a Samsung phone to match.
I will miss this community dearly! Like I said in the 'Introduce Yourself' thread, this has been the best experience I've had on XDA since I joined. I hope you guys get JB soon. The wait was tough. If someone wants access to the files of the theme I made a while back I'd be glad to hand it over.

P.S. I usually don't keep a specific phone for too long. I end up getting bored with it no matter how much development there is. It's just that there's so much different tech out there that I try to use as much of it as I can. Maybe it's my OCD, but I think it's just my love for technology lol.

I'm thinking of jumping ship as well. I've received 4 consecutive faulty replacement devices, and they won't let me switch. It may just be high time to sell it and start fresh somewhere else.

I never thought I'd say this again but I'm actually enjoying the switch a bit. I still have my Note 10.1 to tinker with Android style and this iPhone isn't permanent I don't think.

But I prefer android because there's more potential.

No problem IPhones is a solid piece of hardware. I have the 4s, if it had a bigger screen I'd use it as a daily phone. But then again I get bored with a device after awhile so I'm thinking of trying win phone 8 for awhile.

Honestly? I just got my replacement One X about a week ago, still flawless. If someone offered me the iPhone 5 in beyond good condition (No cosmetic, good battery, etc.) I would take it. It's a solid piece of hardware.
