Nexus S 4G
Bugless Beast latest version
Matr1x latest version
Google Play latest version
When I try to download a song it throws up an unspecified error.
Any suggestions how to fix?
I downloaded the latest gapps (wiped cache and dalvik) and installed, no difference. I think I need to go back to an older version.

Fixed
Unistalled the update, did all the wipes, reinstalled gapps. Seems to work ok now.
Wipe google play store cache. DON'T open the play store yet!! Remove your Gmail account under Settings/accounts and sync. Open play store, and it will ask for a Gmail account. Enter it, and your problem should be fixed!

I've recently rooted my nexus s (i9020) and flashed ROM Codename 3.5 with 3.0.40-Air Kernel. I also flashed the Codename Gapps, the problem I am having is that google music and maps youtube etc, werent installed. I did a restore with titanium backup and they were still not installed.
When I try to install these apps (or any apps) from the play store I get an error that my account cannot be verrified. I cleared the market data as well as google play store data, and still getting the same error.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Original post removed, due to me not fully reading your post.
Try wiping and flashing only the rom and gapps first. Sounds like something may not have flashed right.

Problem is solved. I cleared the data in Settings-Apps for Google Play Store, google play services, and market feedback agent.
I still cannot seem to find Google Play music in the app store tho..
Hey guys. I went on my Gmail abut an hour ago and it said no connection when I tried to refresh, I went on my browser and it worked without a problem.
What I tried:
- installing previous version
- clearing data/ cashe
- Uninstall in it.
- switch between wifi to 4g
- asked friend if he could connect to Google play and it worked for him.
- restarted my phone
When I Uninstalled Gmail, I went to open Google play but it said "no connection" so I Google something again and I had no problems.
Tried the same as what I stated above with no luck.
Any help?
Note: I reinstalled Gmail via an apk I downloaded but still doesn't work

Try to install an updated google play store from the themes and apps section. Gunthermic and Camblue both have updated inverted apps if you like those, Camblue also uploaded the original copy for installation. This might resolve your problem.
Having a working play store will probably fix your Gmail.

i only have this issue on omni rom, not an issue on stock or cm11
coming from a fresh install, after full device wipe, using the latest pa gapps, when i load up ghangouts, i get a message that says play services need to be updated. this is normal... after the update i launch hangouts and it crashes. i have tried clearing data, removing google account and re-adding, and clearing out extra authorizations in my google settings.
any idea whats causing this? or a fix?
Anybody?

Something strange happened this morning with Hangouts, it updated to the new version that been pushing out over the last 24 hours.
When i went to load up the app i get a FC, and the same is happening with Youtube (not aware of that app updating though).
I have so far tried
1. Removing and re-installing both apps
2. Clearing the cache on the apps
3. Cleared the cache in recovery and also dalvik cache
4. Re-flashed the custom ROM (Mahdi Rom)
5. Re-flashed the gapps (PA micro version) i had installed
6. Re-installing an older version of both hangouts and youtube apk files
None of the above has fixed the problem. I guess wiping system and re-installing rom would fix the problem, but this is a last resort.
Before this hangouts app update everything was working fine.
Any other possibilities I can try?

Hi All, I am new to this forum and am very pleased with ROM KatKiss-6.0_TF700T_026. Also have Gapps: OpenGapps ARM 6.0 Pico and SuperSU BETA 2.52. The only problem I have is with Google play store unable to get past 100% download when updating apps. It just freezes and the 100% download and wont go the next step and install. I have even tried manually updating random ones via the play store. I have tried all the recommended fixes such as clearing google play store cache/data/force close and restart. deleting and re-adding the google account, reinstalling the latest Google play store version. Any help in resolving this issue would be appreciated.
