If a app says its incompatible because of ROM and its in reality it is for you're phone, is there a way to force the Android to download it. Beside using a back up or another market or finding it on the internet is there a way to force google play store to download incompatible apps.

Did you happen to change the LCD density of you phone? This is known to cause issues with the Google Play Store. There are a couple of workarounds listed in the App forum. One of the easiest ways to fix is to use "LCD Density Modder Pro" and use the "Fix Market Compatibility Issues" option. However, don't use it to change the density on the skyrocket as it does not work at all.
If you haven't been playing with the LCD density, are you using an ICS ROM? If so, some apps don't have a version which will run on ICS.
Its not from Ms or apple is it? Unless u changed the LCD density or have android 2.x and the app is for ics it should recognize and install

I'm trying to install the Official Cineworld App but I am unable to even see the App because it is not compatible with my Sensation.
Does anyone know why and if there is a way around this?
I thought as long as you had Android all Apps should be compatible.

I noticed that some of my apps aren't opening at full size. Adao file manager only takes up 3\4 of the screen.

this may be due to qhd resolution of sensation.
Try this method
Download Spare Parts from android market.
Go into the application, if compatibility mode is checked, uncheck it and recheck it. And Reboot it
If its unchecked, check it and reboot.
See if it works

Really? I searched for and it isn't there. And if I go to the market on my computer and try from there then it says my phone is no longer supported
Edit: turns out it isn't supported when I'm on MIUI but if I'm on ValBlack then it works fine

Hmm... determined to get it from the market when the .apk was posted up there. Weird Juls. I'll remove the .apk.
Its probably because miui is based from chineese so something in there tells it chineese info so some apps can only be downloaded in the usa. Thats my theory

I just flashed my ROM to cm9 from cm7 and installed the google apps package.
When I log in open Android Play (same account), and go my My Apps, all my previously downloaded apps and purchases are there still there, but none of them say 'PURCHASED'. They now list the purchase price of the app. Essentially, it's not recognizing I purchased any of my apps.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
EDIT: If I go on my computer and visit https://play.google.com/store, My purchased library still exists and I am able to install it via send to phone.
So really, it's a matter of inconvenience.
I read an Engadget article saying this is happening to a ton of people and Google is aware and working to rectify it.

Try going to manage apps and deleting app data for play store. That has worked for me in the past.

Yes Google is aware of this and best thing to do log out your gmail account clear data then reopen/sign back in. But if that doesn't help you'll have wait till Google updates

It seems to have fixed itself. Maybe there was just some server delay recognizing my phone.

What other gapps can you use for version 2.9 liquidsmooth for the Verizon S3 I don't like the 4.2.2 because they don't come with nothing, I mean they come with Apollo and DSP manager but they don't come with gmail or maps or none of those Google apps... I'm pretty sure I downloaded the right gapps from goo too because it said "4.2.2 gapps" and "20130301" or something like that

just download the missing apps from the store and save yourself the trouble.

Yea that's what I kinda been doing but still gapps are gapps right and if gapps don't come with gapps then that's not right

Aside from inverts, why do you want all the non included stuff in the gapps package? If it were up to me, gapps would only have 1 app... The playstore. I prefer all my apps to be user apps so they can be backed up and restored easily. System apps have to be set up again on each flash unless you manually restore data to the system app, which is generally a bad idea.

True true, but there are some system apps that needs some of the apps , just an example the camera uses voice search and the maps app for some features and if you don't have that than the camera force closes... I know that you can download all of those apps from the play store but still, the gapp package should require all of those apps

yea, you can "say cheese" and it will take a picture using voice search, also you can check the location where you took a picture and that uses the google map app
