What's the best ROM to run? I'm currently running Samsung Infuse with Zeus ICS theme. Looking for a stable, well featured, ROM that has decent battery life. Any suggestions?

I've managed to root, rom, flash, mod about three android phones now. My first was a captivate, second was the infuse, third was the atrix, so I shouldn't have an issue. I'll definitely give it a shot ^.^ Any chance it had mhl/hdmi support?

Another quick question, is there a big size difference in the Galaxy S II and the Skyrocket? I'm think about getting the otterbox at Walmart, but it doesn't say skyrocket. Anyone know?

It has to be for the skyrocket... the skyrocket is a little bigger than the s2 itself. Now I did use a infuse case on my skyrocket. It was the ballistic case for infuse. It was just a Tad bigger but fit and worked until I got my otterbox in from Amazon. BTW you can order an otterbox from Amazon way cheaper than you can get it from Walmart...

Picked up my Infuse today, holy crap is it nasty!
So far compared to Inspire:
Sound - Much clearer and louder
Screen - ... WOW, not even comparable. The extra size is nice but nothing compared to the beauty of this screen
Signal - Better everywhere so far. My real test is at work tomorrow
Size - While the screen is big, it is SO thin, and Amazingly light!
This phone is fantastic so far, I couldn't be happier.
Can't wait for XDA Section
P.s. where do you get drivers for the phone?

I can't believe that a phone that is of this caliber doesn't have blutooth voice dial.

I bought the Atrix the day it came out. I also just bought the Infuse yesterday. The Atrix went on ebay and sold. And its better that way. Even though the specs on the Atrix are better, in my opinion its not better then the Infuse. And I dont have to even discuss why lol

Note is nice but I personally think its too big. I see it more of a business phone, not personal at all.
Yea it is big but my boss has the att one and its really nice and we all know T-Mobile is faster so who knows might have different specs just thought it was cool that we might be getting one

I had the note briefly and LOVED it, returned it cause there wasnt a stable modem/radio for us Tmo users...if this is true, im 100% back!!

I still haven't had time to play with a Note yet, but its intriguing to say the least. It definitely looks a bit too large to use as an everyday phone but I'll give it a shot at least
You probably will be happier with the s3, it will be the next Gen phone.
Get the note if you need a tablet phone or high Res screen for more icons on the app drawer or something. I'm gonna wait for the s3 just because of the flagship and the proper balance of features and size and weight

My uncle has the international version so I've had the opportunity to work on this device here and there. Using it daily really doesn't wind up feeling a ton bigger than the t989, only problems I've experienced are certain apps can't figure out if it's a tablet or a phone, so there's a fair amount of compatibility issues, but it's very slick.
But, and a big but, that phone is a Gen behind the s3

Infuse is close enough to almost beat it lol. If i upgrade soon, ill either get the note or one x. Or if the gs3 comes out soon maybe that, honestly can not wait until the note comes with the s4 then ill go for that anyday.
Is there such a thing for the skyrocket? There's an awesome case for the gs3 that replaces the back and has a slim flip cover, personally I would love it for my skyrocket T_T would kinda mitigate the need for a screen protector?
I also found the Argos leather cases but I'm not 100% sold on those yet...

My gf has one on the note 2. It sucks and gets in the way of camera, video, and general phone operations. You definitely don't want one, it sucks big time.

There are some great ones on eBay if you search for "s2 skyrocket wallet" (or something similar to that). I've got a Hercules, but I ordered an awesome skyrocket flip case. I should get it soon! Hope you can find one you like

I think it could. I ordered a rubber case for the t989 that I can glue or attach somehow. Also cutting a spot for the speaker on the back with a box cutter. It should work!

Stick with the Samsung I have a Samsung fascinate on cm10.1 and I love it its a struggle to just put a custom ROM on HTC you can't just Odin a recovery and flash you have to wait for a boot loader unlock then you have to unlock it then you have to get the right hboot then you gotta go through the procces of getting a recovery on it and so on stick with the infuse If your happy with it and if you do get a new phone get a Samsung as you can tell there open and have great devoloment

Is that $250 off contract? You can get one for free with an upgrade. You need to let us know if you are upgrading or seeking a phone off contract. I would also agree with the post above me. Stick with Samsung instead of HTC

I used to have an Infuse and I hated it. Mind you that was prior to having sold it for an S2 i777. I also never rooted it and did root the s2 and loved it. Have you considered an s2?
