Is there such a thing for the skyrocket? There's an awesome case for the gs3 that replaces the back and has a slim flip cover, personally I would love it for my skyrocket T_T would kinda mitigate the need for a screen protector?
I also found the Argos leather cases but I'm not 100% sold on those yet...
I too am curious about this
Now this would be great for our SRs. I'm also interested if they exist.

My gf has one on the note 2. It sucks and gets in the way of camera, video, and general phone operations. You definitely don't want one, it sucks big time.

There are some great ones on eBay if you search for "s2 skyrocket wallet" (or something similar to that). I've got a Hercules, but I ordered an awesome skyrocket flip case. I should get it soon! Hope you can find one you like

I think it could. I ordered a rubber case for the t989 that I can glue or attach somehow. Also cutting a spot for the speaker on the back with a box cutter. It should work!

Yeah if you can cut another speaker hole, cuz yours is on the opposite side as ours.

Sky IcS hands down. The newest release is absolutely butter. You do have to be meticulous in flashing but you already rooted and rommed your last phone so I'm assuming you got a little going on up there

I've managed to root, rom, flash, mod about three android phones now. My first was a captivate, second was the infuse, third was the atrix, so I shouldn't have an issue. I'll definitely give it a shot ^.^ Any chance it had mhl/hdmi support?

Another quick question, is there a big size difference in the Galaxy S II and the Skyrocket? I'm think about getting the otterbox at Walmart, but it doesn't say skyrocket. Anyone know?

It has to be for the skyrocket... the skyrocket is a little bigger than the s2 itself. Now I did use a infuse case on my skyrocket. It was the ballistic case for infuse. It was just a Tad bigger but fit and worked until I got my otterbox in from Amazon. BTW you can order an otterbox from Amazon way cheaper than you can get it from Walmart...

Before I upgraded to ICS, call echoing would not exist. Now, whenever I call someone they complain about an echo unless I take the phone out of the case. I have tried an Otterbox, two different Casemate Pop cases and a silicone case, all with the same issue. I am on stock everything. Any fixes?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
You might try a really thin TPU case. You can find some good-quality ones for ~$10 on Amazon. I got a decent (but thick) TPU from Amazon for $3 a few weeks back. If it really just doesn't work and it's definitely the case causing it, maybe try something like Ghost Armor?

I can't see how the only fix is to root. It simply doesn't make sense to me. It's like telling someone to bring 10 buckets of water to put out a lit match.

Well if its on stock and you have played with settings either cut a bigger hole in the case for the mic or root

Why the objection to rooting? A few tweaks or a custom ROM might fix you right up. Otherwise, yeah, try that Ghost Armor stuff, cut a bigger hole in the case or learn to live with it. Returning to stock is easy, and flash counters can be reset...

Multiple reasons.
1) I'm too intimidated by reports of people getting bricked and having to factory reset
2) This is my only android device plus my only means of contact so I'm not willing to even experiment with something I don't know
These may seem like stupid reasons because everyone here is a root user, but I'm someone who usually manages to mess up every piece of technology I touch, either software or hardware wise. I've had this phone for 6 months without even one scratch on the screen, so I'm doing surprisingly well by my standards.

I haven't tried any other case because I haven't seen any with a belt clip as yet.

I noticed that when I partially cover the bottom mic with the case off I get the echo. So I'm gonna take illnevertell's advice and cut a larger hole for the mic.

let me know if u get it. I want to see if you can see the dot pattern through it.

I've already received shipping confirmation with a teaching number... So far so good
Sexy case. I'm just wary on possible scuffs it may make. Anyway subscribing and awaiting feedback

Very nice case, I'm waiting for your feedback
As it's a low price, I can order another one when there'll be scuff on it.
That's exactly what I was looking for! I ordered two.
I would stay away from any hard plastic cases as it VERY easy to scratch and crack.
I stopped using these cases after my Samsung Behold. I had one on my phone... My phone fell out of my pocket and this case broke off -___-

I have been using hard plastic cases for two years, and so far so good. There are no scratch/scuff marks that I can make out. Of course the user experience will depend heavily on the quality of the plastic, but that's the case for all cases.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't metal cases interfere with cell signal?
I haven't really seen anyone post up a back cover for the Galaxy S4, but this one is pretty unique. It's not plastic but it's rubberized and smooth. It makes the phone look way better than the original back cover. I do understand that there are metal back covers, but they have a black outline on them and make the phone a bit bulkier. This fits perfectly.:good:

I like. I might grab one. I wanted one for my S3 but it had the KHOMO logo on the outside where the Samsung logo normally is and I just thought it looked tacky.
Just bought one. I wish there were more back covers like this. Nice texture and clean looking.
A nice suede back cover would be really nice.
