Does it work for the version DXKT7 ... coz it's latest and i heard that there is no root for that one...

What did you do?. Just follow the steps and your good to go....
Use stock recovery....
Root your phone first before flashing cwm...

Rootng isnt necessary to flash cwm..just flash through odin dats enough

Hey I have done following steps:
1) installed dxkt7 using odin.
2) open recovery mode and data wipe and reset.
3) reboot devise.
4) den tj_style recovery through odin.
5) reboot in recovery nd apply update.zip for root.
but the error comes saying installation aborted...

SUPERONECLICK doesnt' work most of the times!
better use the CF-ROOT. you can find the thread in the development section,
jst use universal cf root..easy to use and most stable.me also using it....for a very long time

thanks guys.. but my cell is ddkp4 (though when i was running superoneclick root it detected ddkp3) and there is no root for ddkp4 how can i root it now? should i go trying the ddkp3 method?

Its a pit file here. You dont need the pit file if youre not flashing a full rom with 4 files.

As per the feedback from pulley06 and Kateria, wiping cache after flashing would lead into boot loop.. Keep these in mind
Dont use the flashable zip. Download the apk and Follow the steps.Make a CWM backup before doing anything
1. copy the TaskManager.apk to system/apps
2. give rw-r-r- permissions for the apk
3. reboot and launch the application

Pully buddy, please mention the steps you had done for installing. Its working perfectly. I will brief the steps I had used.
1. copy the apk to system/apps

I did exactly same thing bro but bad luck, I am stuck at the Boot Loop not only me even some of users told the same......

I will PM them to check the steps. And I want to check whether they are on 19th build like you. I am on 22th build. We have to check that too.

She just gave birth her b4 2 days.I think we are over 19th build & shaheen7m buddy is on 22nd build. Also, I have did the same but no bootloop. Don't flash the provided zip as its contain different location which we don't have in our R.

Congrats Buddy, No i haven't flashed the ZIP file, I've just pushed the APK to system and set the permissions....

Noooo..don't do that.. coz I did the same & stuck in bootloop. again have to flash CM10.
Well try dis flash any oder rom keeping d file for cm 10 on ur sd card and d task manager and den open any file manager i prefer root explorer amd den push d yask manager to d sytem/app of cm 10 dont forget u have to do all dis in d zip and not frm rom den just flash d same zip of cm 10 and den update. I hope it worx

No I din't use any of those..
I simply used my automated script to unpack and repack the system.img available in the firmware package..
you can check my signature for auto-preroot script...
if you hav linux os preferably Ubuntu follow the method you will see for yourself. . :good:
And one more thing, pre rooting the firmware using kingo and vroot not possible at all...

It is possible to get Android 4.4 for our device but we need samsung to introduce a device cimilar to ours with android 4.4.2 as standard & then use that rom to build as base for ours. one more thing DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING VROOT OR KLINGO : THEY ARE CERTIFIED MALWARE .

KingoRoot did manage to root it, however I note that the brightness levels are not good, any ideas ?
Any ROM which I can flash with it?
Recently I purchased this tab and I want to know if it's possible to unroot it if I want to claim warranty. I bought it for my kids and want to remove unnecessary apps and make the device fast.
And I hope I have made the right choice in selecting this tab. Can users of this tab share your experiences apart from providing the method to unroot it ?.
Don't know when these guys are going to follow Huawei in allowing customers to root the device.

I also got this tab as my mom gifted me. I rooted it three times and installed xposed twice. Once to renable i flashed the stock rom,but the second time i just deleted record of rooting and unrooted it. The logs can be deleted by using many tools. Currently, I am using xposed. When i would want to unroot, I will just delete the log and unroot it the warranty will be reenabled.
Please tell me how to delete the logs and unroot it. I want to delete the crapware in the tab. Thanks

I had installed it on KitKat never tried on Lollipop!
May be it requires an update for working in lollipop

Now its working but i wanna adk You a question if the recovery downloading had something wrong due to this the recovery IMG got currupt and flashed that then would the phone boot??

and yes the tab would boot even the file was not flashed currectly

I created a preRoot + dual recovery.
DO NOT FLASH THIS IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU DO, DONT BLAME ME IF YOUR DEVICE EXPLODE
whath do you need?
A)D2502 model
B) 4.4 or 5.0 firmware with funtional recovery (TWRP).
opcional:
C) conect your device to your pc and install yours drivers
Steps:
1) Put "D2502_19.4.A.0.182 - PreRoot + XZDual recovery", in your internal memory.
2) Reboot in to recovery TWRP (yes only TWRP)
3) Make a BackUp (optional)
4) Wipe caches
5) Flash D2502_19.4.A.0.182 - PreRoot + XZDual recovery ( flash with TWRP)
6)done!

First u have to downgrade to 5.02 then root ur mobile via kingroot after that install the recovery n flash this pre rooted zip
If you need to keep asking and not bother to try to understand what has been posted, I strongly recommend you stick to unrooted until you get a grasp of what is going on. Otherwise you're a danger to your phone >.>

Im using dsixda's android kitchen i have extracted system.img and boot.img from stock rom for d2502 and added su supoort and deoxed and removed some apps everything goes fine but while flashing this zip im getting errors i think the errors arr due to updater script can u help me?

I'm not that tech savvy enough to do all this stuff, you might want to look here for errors.
I'm not the dev, and followed another person's guide to install recovery so I can't help with the guide in this thread.

Do you have dual recovery in you Phone?? Just go to "NDR utils", choose Twrp and reboot to primary recovery.
If not, search in this forum "recovery for c3"
