Hi guys, I came across these thread while searching for a task manager for CM10.Its a TouchWiz Task Manager and I checked it myself and working fine..:good:
As per the feedback from pulley06 and Kateria, wiping cache after flashing would lead into boot loop.. Keep these in mind
Dont use the flashable zip. Download the apk and Follow the steps.Make a CWM backup before doing anything
1. copy the TaskManager.apk to system/apps
2. give rw-r-r- permissions for the apk
3. reboot and launch the application

Pully buddy, please mention the steps you had done for installing. Its working perfectly. I will brief the steps I had used.
1. copy the apk to system/apps
2. give rw-r-r- permissions
3. reboot and launch the application
Is these the same steps you had used?

I did exactly same thing bro but bad luck, I am stuck at the Boot Loop not only me even some of users told the same......

buddy, Its really unfortunate. Its such a good application and I am not understanding why its not working for you. Could you please mention the name of others who are having same trouble? I will PM them to check the steps. And I want to check whether they are on 19th build like you. I am on 22th build. We have to check that too.

Hey buddy, You want insane one & I m here. Actually I was busy with my lil sweet sister's new born baby. She just gave birth her b4 2 days.I think we are over 19th build & shaheen7m buddy is on 22nd build. Also, I have did the same but no bootloop. Don't flash the provided zip as its contain different location which we don't have in our R.

Congrats Buddy, No i haven't flashed the ZIP file, I've just pushed the APK to system and set the permissions....

Thanks buddy. She is really cute. but I have also pushed in Data/app as well. may b that's why it wont go to bootloop.

Noooo..don't do that.. coz I did the same & stuck in bootloop. again have to flash CM10.
Well try dis flash any oder rom keeping d file for cm 10 on ur sd card and d task manager and den open any file manager i prefer root explorer amd den push d yask manager to d sytem/app of cm 10 dont forget u have to do all dis in d zip and not frm rom den just flash d same zip of cm 10 and den update. I hope it worx

Does it work for the version DXKT7 ... coz it's latest and i heard that there is no root for that one...

Rootng isnt necessary to flash cwm..just flash through odin dats enough

Hey I have done following steps:
1) installed dxkt7 using odin.
2) open recovery mode and data wipe and reset.
3) reboot devise.
4) den tj_style recovery through odin.
5) reboot in recovery nd apply update.zip for root.
but the error comes saying installation aborted...

wow...great app. Thanx for sharing. It look similar to an app & I think its name was anim mod app or something like that which I had tried long time ago which results in soft brick. Ganesh have u tried it?? Is it working??

Just a last question that I have seen that app backups old framework & make a zip file itself. Whether that zip file is properly flashable on our phone through our recovery OR do we have to saperately create proper flashable zip file???

The files are created on the internal sd. It is flash-able without any modifications.

Ya ganesh. Its unstable sometimes. When I choose option create flashable zip file then app gets hang sometime. After waiting for long time I have to kill it & then suddenly phone gets restarted.

I never had this problem, else I would have warned on the OP.
I made a couple of flash able zips, non posed a problem. Are you using CM9?

plz help iam getting boot loop if i unlock the screen.

It's based on Adam's CM10, so what ever is working in CM10 will only work in this also...
so nothing is working for now except boot and some minor things but soon we will get :fingers-crossed:.....

I've also performed a logcat but without phone and mms.
I don't know how to do a logcat from the computer, so i've pushed a logcat tool to system/app...

Who have developed it...as u hve mentioned that u found it in some posts..... is everything working.... fine in it...the bugs u have told ...are those removed....

Yes, It's 100 % correct link.
But I have no proper baseband for this, I have tried v000001 and v0005 but they didnt worked for me.
May you give a proper working baseband link so that I can try it out.

I did that overwrote old files and fix permissions and did not work no burst shot no hiding of zoe!!!

yea same here... downloaded mounted system made backups pasted fixed permissions and rebooted zoe still shows and burst hangs

You'd have to delete the old ones. Reboot. Then move to respective spots

maybe you need to wipe cache/dalvik as well?

works for me - I edited the files into the rom, wiped cache and dalvik and dirty flashed. burst mode works fine and I can't see Zoe....

It's supposed to hide Zoe, because it's broken.

See i just swapped files and rebooted i didnt open zip and change file so ill try that way!!!!
