Since this is the FIRST thing that pops up when you search best or fastest mytouch 4g slide rom, I thought I would put some noob advice.
Based on number of downloads - I'd say two are voted "best"

You need to get S-OFF as well (use Hasoon's OTHER kit, or follow the links for JuoponutBear). Alternatively, since you're S-ON currently, you need to take a file out of the zip file and flash it separately first, then reflash the whole ROM zip. You'll find instructions on which file it is and how to do it if you search!

Question about CWM

Hey Guys,
I had a quick question... I just installed Clockwork Mod on my Nexus S, my only real reason for doing this was to wipe my battery stats so that I can (hopefully) extend my battery life a bit. I really want to get the stock rom from Google for ICS in a few weeks (have used custom ROMS in the past, but want to get this one stock ), will having CWM prevent this?

If I remember correctly loading the Nexus Stock Image from ROM Manager will reset the bootloader and recovery.

And about battery stats wipe, you could download battery callibration from market, it does the same thing - wipes battery stats file.

What is "Android OS" in battery consumption?

After 6h hours I have 30% of battery left and the biggest consumer is listed as "Android OS" with 22 min of CPU used. What is exactly "Android OS" and why it takes so much CPU?

You'd get an answer quicker if you posted in the correct section. Try the Q&A section

As far as I know there is no agreed upon "cause".
any of the following should help correct it for now:
Restart the phone- has worked for me before
re-flash ROM/kernel
flash new radio
factory reset
check recently installed apps/ system settings

I don't see the issue...

[Q] sense 3.6

is anyone working on sense 3.6 here cuz it really nice and i just want to no.

We were lucky to get Sense 3.5 which is still in beta. Everybody is working on getting us a fully functional ICS rom.

I know I always pop in general and qa. Love reading all the threads here. Some people are @ holes but they're are allot of very smart and full of information too. Some people will not answer if a question is lame and you didn't try to do a search. Sooooo please bro follow the rules as much as you can. Brings harmony to our little shifty world.

Hey Guys ! So I just bought my Blaze 4G with Cyanogen 9 installed, and the battery life is extremely short and sometimes the touch just becomes unresponsive. So Ive got two questions:
Im pretty much a noob here, and apparently there are soo many ROMs available. Can someone tell me about the most stable ROM available. something with a long battery life ? (regardless of the android version)
I know there are two ways to flash your phone, either through ODIN or through CWM. will both work for me knowing that I have Cyanogen already installed ?
Hint: Im using it over GSM here.

I just installed/updated to Paranoid Android 254v4 through Goomanager and it works Great. Check out the thread. Thomas is a really good Dev. My only warning is that it is Jelly Bean 4.1 so if you dont like that set up dont use it. Otherwise have fun!!! P.s. use Nofrills CPU and change settings to conservetive and i/o to noop. Limit your background apps to 3.

Cyanogen Mod 10 is very stable and has great performance which can even be better with the LightningZap Kernel it has a full jelly bean experience. Please post in general section.
