What is "Android OS" in battery consumption? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

After 6h hours I have 30% of battery left and the biggest consumer is listed as "Android OS" with 22 min of CPU used. What is exactly "Android OS" and why it takes so much CPU?

You'd get an answer quicker if you posted in the correct section. Try the Q&A section

As far as I know there is no agreed upon "cause".
any of the following should help correct it for now:
Restart the phone- has worked for me before
re-flash ROM/kernel
flash new radio
factory reset
check recently installed apps/ system settings

I don't see the issue...

Posting questions in development. Is a big no no. Questions belong in q&a ...

EC05 Based Roms!

I bet within about 5 hours after EC05 comes out that someone will release the ODIN version and a custom rom with in a day or so....
I am back to stock Eclair and used Samsung tool to get Fryo and then waiting to get The EC05 to see what it is.... Cant wait for the custom roms with apps to sd. I have my card partitioned already.
And devs please leave in Sprint ID. It gives all our phone a uniform look... after all we will be asimulated.... resistance is futile.
she is hot....
Why is this posted in the development section? Or even at all?

because it talks about development of EC05... duh!
Sorry dzuchowski, but this should be posted in the General Section.

once again it talks about DEVELOPMENT OF EC05. thus under simple logic it belongs here under development. it so simple really it is...
so what are you developing in this thread again?

This shouldn't be posted at all and OP its one thing about talking about development its another thing to do it and this section is for people who do it and u don't seem like your doing anything except posting this in the wrong section...
Let the flaming begin!

Talking about development is not the same thing as developing, so no.

Question about CWM

Hey Guys,
I had a quick question... I just installed Clockwork Mod on my Nexus S, my only real reason for doing this was to wipe my battery stats so that I can (hopefully) extend my battery life a bit. I really want to get the stock rom from Google for ICS in a few weeks (have used custom ROMS in the past, but want to get this one stock ), will having CWM prevent this?
Regards
Trevor
If I remember correctly loading the Nexus Stock Image from ROM Manager will reset the bootloader and recovery.

Im wondering the same thing.
And about battery stats wipe, you could download battery callibration from market, it does the same thing - wipes battery stats file.

You do realize there is a dedicated Q & A section for the Nexus S right? how do you go directly into the development forum without even glancing at the Q&A forum...fail, please don't ask questions here
Sorry it sounds harsh, but it's annoying seeing questions here when I'm looking for ROMs/Kernels lol just read rules before posting.

[Q] [REQ]Galaxy S II Skyrocket STOCK ROM

So I've been looking around for a couple of days in hopes that someone would post a stock rom to flash back to but I haven't been able to locate one. I've searched the forum but wasn't able to find one (if you guys find one please let me know!).
It'd be nice if someone could give us any word as to whether or not the original STOCK rom is attainable to flash back to. I recently flashed a ROM but decided to go back to stock as it performed better, in my biased opinion of course.
If anyone knows of this please help! If your'e in the same boat as I am, please bump!
Thanks
Your fix is listed five threads down from yours.

Please follow the rules. If you didn't make "it," then "it" probably doesn't belong in the development forums. Moved to Q&A.

I wouldn't have caught that as the forum is dynamic; its always changing orders depending on most recent activity. Thanks for the link!

Not trying to be an ass but this is in the wrong section. This should either be in Q&A or general. Also if you had gone to the second page in the development section, you could have found the ruu here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335068

Question

Hi to you All.
I just have a Question and i really have no experience with this forum ( new to it ).
I don't know where to post my question, I posted it in a reply in some Threads but i didn't get any answer, so i posted it here and if there is anything wrong feel free to tell me in-order to learn .
I have a new international Samsung GT-N7100, and i wanna root it and put fine Rom in it.
How can i know that is a good Rom for me? What makes a Rom better than the others? Does Rooting legal or illegal?
Note: please send me a message with the comments and answers so that i can see it, because for my 1st time sure i will be lost .
Thanks in advance
This should belong to Q&A section....
