Hey Arjen,
As i understand, we dont have omx compatible with ICS however can we use old omx libs with our rom. There are only two functions in surfacefliger which are breaking the old omx compatibility. Hence now the idea is for work around is build a ics compatible surfacefliger that will override these two functions, actually the old libs are getting loaded

Kanad

no progress, arjen has started this thread for polishing it up to the max this side of openmax drivers or who knows, we might be in for a surprise
The new openmax turned out not to be working. So we got no progress there. Probably never will. Old openmax doesn't support some needed functions, so no solutions from there either.

There is a way around this, plug the usb in, then disable and re-enable USB Debugging, works everytime. A little tedious, but for getting ICS on this little phone, so worth it.
Great job guys!!

We did not program CM9, or the vendor/device trees for the TF101. We're standing on the shoulders of giants here. Fix for MicroSD mount(for ADB):
adb shell
su
mkdir /Removable/MicroSD
mkdir /Removable/SD
mkdir /Removable/USBdisk1
mkdir /Removable/USBdisk2
Or open a terminal emulator app:
su
mkdir /Removable/MicroSD
mkdir /Removable/SD
mkdir /Removable/USBdisk1
mkdir /Removable/USBdisk2
then insert SD/MicroSD/USB stick again, it is now mounted at the proper location.
The source for AndroidRoot's vendor and device trees is located at https://github.com/AndroidRoot/
And the source code for CM9 is at https://github.com/CyanogenMod .
WK and I will probably open up our own github at some point as well, but for now, we haven't modified anything in the source, so there's nothing to share in that regard. Much like my last rom, we're building this ROM for the learning experience, so feedback is always welcome, but please keep "Thanks!" only posts out of this thread, that's what the thanks button is for. However, if you have additional comments to go after it, like "Thanks, but I have an issue, like blah blah blah...", that's fine. Thank you.

Yeah. Like the first post says, make a folder named MicroSD in /Removable. It requires root, so use ES File Explorer(or other root explorer), ADB, or Terminal Emulator to do it. Any of those should work. Then just insert your microsd again.

This is CM9 built from Cyanogenmods sources, not an official build.
I've been using the build for a few hours now and I can easily say it's a little bit smoother.
We hope that ASUS drops the kernel sources soon so that we can get kernels which allows us to overclock, so that we can stretch the quadrant bar even further!

Now some stuff that comes with ASUS i like... like Supernote, File Manager is pretty good, Polaris Office, App Locker, and MyNet and MyCloud seem good... Is that all removed (i know you said removed bloatware but did you mean all that came with it?)
This is awesome, Thanks again!!!!!
None of it is in the CM9 source, so no, it's not there. We're going to upload the ASUS apps eventually for your use, but for now it's the bare minimum.
OK then, CM9 has been flashed and is up and running.
1st thing I see after I run the SD card tweak, my battery icon is showing as charging while plugged in to the USB. I just gotta say ME LIKEY!
So far so good folks, big thanks to you all and I'll keep you posted

System Wizard stopped fixed
After installing CM10.1 with gapps you can't bypass Setup Wizard stopped. How bypass this error: 1.wipe all data 2.install CM10.1 nightly 3.Wipe all data 4.boot in 4.2, it will boot without errors. 5.Install your needed google apps from market. Error caused by gapps (I think its because low space in ROM - installing CM10.1 without gapps i getted only about 15mb free), so if we want to use future ROMS (4.3 - CM11 or CM10.3) we need to resize SystemROM, to resize SROM - we need unlock bootloader, to bypass bl - TI Board Conf tool & 16MB.bin or some future way )

By popular demand, I am bringing to you CM10.1 that you can install into Nook's internal ROM.
Note, this version totally overwrites your ROM, so back up everything important before proceeding. This is not a dual-boot solution, you do loose B&N ROM for good after installing this.
This is work in progress, yadda yadda.
Follow this install guide substituting various filenames with filenames below if you don't understand the below instructions
Get nookhd-emmc-cwm.img.gz, gunzip and write it to an sdcard of at least 1G in size (all content on that card will be lost). (use dd under Linux and MacOS, use Win32DiskImager or similar tool under Windows, use 7zip under windows to unpack).
Download CWM recovery zip if you want internal recovery to be replaced with CM one (if you don't know what is it about, then you need it). As another option there's a graphical TWRP recovery available. (you can only have one recovery option)
Also download latest nightly from http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=hummingbird
You can write installation zips for recovery, cm binary + whatever else you need and transfer them to Nook user storage (if you have it activated and all), OR add all these files + whatever other packages you might need right away on to the sdcard.
Insert sdcard into Nook and reboot the Nook, next install recovery (if desired) and the cm10.1 binary and whatever else you put there.
Use Install zip from sdcard, if you copied installation zips to sdcard, otherwise use "choose zip from internal sdcard" - both options are in "Unstall update from zip file".
Erase /data (only on initial install, this is important to avoid crashes on bootup! Naturally, make sure you have copies of whatever important info from there before you remove).
Remove the sdcard from the Nook. You might need to use this sdcard for your recovery needs in the future should EMMC content become badly damaged, so probably a good idea to have a copy of it somewhere.
Congrats, now on reboot you'll get into cm10.1 on your Nook HD.
When you need to get into recovery, you can either do "reboot to recovery" in reboot menu (need to enable that in settings) or reboot the nook, and when you see original nook boot logo, press and hold power + home buttons for about 4 seconds.
If you plan to use USB Host feature, you will need a gender changer, as B&N decided not to release a special cable so far. The control to enable USBHost is in quick settings panel (slide down in the top right corner of the screen to bring it up).
Known problems:
- Nook app reports incompatible in market (workaround1: just sideload it ; workaround2: change ro.product.device to nookhd in build.prop) - This is because they specifically blacklist Nooks! For workaround #2, revert the value back to hummingbird when done installing, otherwise you'll lose sound.
- Certain sdcards still remain unstable.
- Google Earth crashes when you press "my location" button, but works fine otherwise.
Changelog:
13/08/09 - We are part of official CM and latest nightly from here is what you should get now: http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=hummingbird

Sweet!!!!!!
Will test it out.
I guess this means we will have access to a working repo soon so we all can start building from source.

Woohoo! Fantastic work! And thank you so much for posting source.
New binary release: cm-10.1-20130612-UNOFFICIAL-hummingbird-emmc.zip
Changes:
- Fixed HDMI audio
- Fixed HDMI video upside-down picture
- Added usb audio support
- Enabled tabbed view in Settings app. (This seems to be looking ok, but if you find it's too bad, let me know and we certainly can try to roll it back or only have it for landscape or some other stuff).
Thank you!! :victory:
Running fantastic for me. Thanks.
AMAZING! I just wanted to cruise by the forums because I was bored with nothing new until I see this post! Awesome work is all I can say. Does this mean no more reboot restores with /system and complete control and customization of the device without the unlocked bootloader?
Haven't look at the code yet, but I believe if you change "ro.product.device" in "build.prop" you will loose all the sound.
Can someone test it?
Niiiiice! Thanks, been waiting on this.
Now, quick question: There is a stock ROM to flash, right? I just exchanged another HD & it was easy enough to just remove the SD card. I've only had this HD a week.
Thanks!
Oh yeah, I remember now: Yes, there is.

This is a ROM to replace the stock on emmc. You should back up your stock first. E.mote has an excellent tutorial that verygreen links in his OP here. Then you can restore that backup to get back to stock if you need to return it.
Edit: Guide is here. Just substitute the files from the OP instead of the ones listed in the guide:

I guess I wasn't clear in my question (too early). I just needed to know if there was a stock ROM to flash back to stock in case I had to return it. Of course, I could just Nandroid my stock install too (DUH, didn't think about that, just like you said).
Updating to latest ROM?
Folks,
I picked up a Nook HD+ 16Gb last night and followed the guide to install CM10.1. Everything went smoothly. A big THANK YOU to verygreen and lepinlar for all the work in creating this and the guides/instructions on how to install.
I've got a couple questions:
I installed the cm-10.1-20130608-UNOFFICIAL-ovation-emmc ROM and have made some changes on the tablet (added my daughters as Users, downloaded some apps, etc). How would I go about upgrading to the cm-10.1-20130612-UNOFFICIAL-hummingbird-emmc ROM? Would I lose the changes I've already made? Is there way to install/upgrade to the new ROM and keep the changes I've already made? Thanks.

First you do not want to flash that ROM to your HD+. If you look at the filenames you will see ovation (which means HD+) and hummingbird (which means HD). But if you want to upgrade to a newer ovation ROM, just flash the newer ROM over the top of your old ROM. It will keep all your changes you've made.

Lepinlar,
Sorry about the post. I didn't read it close enough to realize it was for the HD (not the HD+). Should I delete my original post so it doesn't confuse anyone else?

Awesome ROM, thanks for doing this. Battery life vs stock is amazing, UI looks much better, more customizable, great having root to back up apps and etc.
I had a small issue with the 06/08 build on my HD+ where the battery would not recharge. Power cycling (turning it off and then on again) seemed to fix it. Is anyone seeing this issue with this 06/12 build? Thanks!

Clean flash, ran Black Hole and FSC before flashing.
ok, so I'm still getting spotty connectivity for data, keeps dropping, same thing as before in my post >>>here<<<
Bluetooth worked until I enabled debug, then it did not. Gallery did NOT work, until I enabled debug, then it did. Camera still crashes gallery. Torch still crashes. I cant pull a logcat because adb keeps saying device is offline. I'll try a reboot, see if that helps once I get home

When you connect a device running Android 4.2.2 or higher to your computer, the system shows a dialog asking whether to accept an RSA key that allows debugging through your computer.. You confirm it and you can get the log.

Thanks for the offer on the mirror... I have 2 sites I use, one main and one just in case...lol... But you are welcome to upload it and post the link... I'll include it in the dl section.
As for your issues, I'm tracking the camera/gallery issue and of course wifi. as for data, have you tried using a different radio? Torch is working fine for me. Try downloading/flashing again. Might have gotten a bad flash/download (doubtful, but let's try it). Also, has the log changed or is about the same?
for the logcat to work change the type of usb connection to camera. It worked for me.

Hey Thomas there is a fix for the camera crash on gerrit

Its for 4.3 but should work with 4.2 same logic

For those still getting device offline in adb. my n4 does this every time I switch between mine and my wife's. First make sure SDK is up to date. Secondly if it still does it. Tap the USB debugging option in developer options on and off again several times and the dialog box asking to accept the computer should come up. . Its not a for sure way to get it to work but this usually works for me.

Introduction
This is a UNOFFICIAL build of LineageOS for the Samsung Galaxy Core Plus.
It's not ready yet and has some bugs in it which could cause problems to some users.
The ROM will only work on the SM-G350 Version of the Phone (without any Numbers/Letters behind).
This ROM could be used for daily use now (though you should look at the list of what doesn't work first).
Known Bugs
Camera sometimes switches to green-purple. The resulting picture doesn't have the weird color, but it may be flipped and/or distorted at the edges.
Video Recording
Codecs (some work, some don't. I tested MP4 and AVI, both work. I should really make a list...)
Installation Instructions
Special thanks to @Giovix92 for making this tutorial!
Requirements:
1: A computer with Windows.
2: An Internet connection.
3: A backup of your phone data (contacts, photo, music, videos, and other).
4: About 300 MB free space on your SD card.
5: Phone charged at least 80%.
Download links are below
I do NOT take any responsibility for bricked devices!
Let's start!
1: Download the Samsung USB Drivers.
2: Download the ODIN3. (Only for Windows)
3: Download the TWRP Odin package to your desktop and download the LineageOS 13 zip to your SD card.
4: Make a backup of your files, because the storage will be wiped. (External SD card will not be wiped)
5: Reboot your phone in to the Download mode (Volume Down- , Home- and Power button). Press the Volume Up button when asked. Then open the ODIN3 and connect your phone to your PC.
6: Press AP and choose the TWRP Odin package (recovery.tar) and make sure re-partition is NOT ticked. "Auto-Reboot" should not be ticked either, otherwise you will need to be quick to boot into the recovery immediately after flashing.
7: Press start! Wait a few seconds. Then your phone will be rebooted. Now you can disconnect the cable and power off your phone.
8: Boot your phone in to the TWRP Recovery (Volume Up-, Home- and Power button).
9: Go to Wipe, and Swipe to Factory Reset.
10. After wiping go to the home screen by pressing the home button.
11: Go to Install. Choose the "external_sd" from the top bar. (It says "Storage: Internal Storage (xxxxMB)" by default)
12: Choose the LineageOS 13 ZIP and Swipe to Confirm Flash. Make sure you don't power off while flashing!
13: After the zip has been flashed choose "Reboot System".
14: Wait 5-15 minutes to boot the phone. If the phone keeps booting take out the battery and do a Factory Reset again.
15: When the phone boots the first time, go through the Setup Wizard and you are ready to use your phone!
If there was something you didn't understand, please don't hesitate to ask

Still working on that.
I just noticed that the sound sometimes "breaks" and sounds like damaged speakers (just for a part of a second, nothing permanent). I don't know if this is a software problem or just my phone. Can someone confirm that? It sometimes happens when doing a call or pressing random numbers at the Dialer. It also seems to happen only with standard sound level or higher.
I'll check it after I fixed (or tried to fix) Internet and SD Card
This is the same on stock when listening YT idk why it happens.
For the sdcard fix check if there are correct mounts for vold.fstab or framework
BTW. Videoplayback isnt working good on YT on Internet browser and is glitched too on chrome.

Well, i just red here "https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/official-cm13-nightly-builds-rolling-out-for-opo.411202/page-103" that its may be fault of the recovery. I dont think that we all got the same twrp though, is something you can test? i used santori's twrp, i had it flashed quite a time. maybe an update or a modification will solve that issue
I knew we need TWRP 3.x.x to install an Android 6.0+ Rom. So, the network issue, could be related to the recovery version.
We should to update the recovery first, to install Marshmallow (and up) on a smartphone
