Thanx for your reply, but, as you can see in the original thread, I already tried it. Reflash rom, back to stock, reflash stock, back to current rom etc. etc.
Nothing worked yet.

Not to discourage anybody, but I don't think anyone can really fix this. I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem (I have this problem on my Touch Pro too)

I realyze it, but i'm still trying to motivate people who may can fix it. You never know. I really want my wifi working.

as i said in the original post, mine started just like yours and now the bluetooth does the same. i heard that the same chip is responsible for both wifi & bluetooth its an IC or smthn, so whoever knows where we can buy this chip , plz post it here,cz there is no software solution its hardware 100% ty

The Wifi sometimes doesn't work because of the same " Microp" error . Follow the guide and see if it works for you.
DISASSEMBLING your device will be different from this guide , find a video tut on Youtube .
Disconnect and reconnect everything back and hopefully everything will be straightened out.

i wanted to try it but i dnt have the right tools to remove those screws and i dont want to ruin them lol , if it works with anyone il send mine to some cellphone shop and he will do this work for me , il tell him the technique lol .

I've got the same wifi-wont-turn-on problem since a coulple of months. I already tryed several radios and roms but without any succes.
Today I disassembled my phone, unplugged then plugged many times the mother boad, but the problem is still here
I know my phone fell on the floor someday, but I'm not sure that's why the wifi won't work anymore.

I had something like that with my Blue Angel, i was clicking on wifi in connections but nothing was happening. i was always fixing it with starting it from the wireless lan settings (where u set energy or quality). u can choose to start it from there (on the first screen). i was doing it few times and either was starting, either i was going back to connections again and start it from there and then it worked normaly. was some problem with the blue angel itself. i have no idea if this might help but u can at least try, just click both buttons few times and fingers crossed

Hi, i didn't want to started new thread but after spending 2 hours of searching i gave up Something weird happened with my device. When i press power button i can see Sense unlock screen, i can see that i have network signal even wifi connection. I can even plug device to pc and there is a connection. But when i try to unlock device there is no response, no vibration nothing at all. Does any of Ya had the same problem. I'm on a stock HTC Rom with official ICS update so nothing special (my device is still on warranty )

Can you give it a battery pull, wait about 20 seconds and pop it back in and see if it starts up?

because your STOCK and still under ware tee I would bring this to the attention of your provider or who ever handles the warentee issues for your device. Perhaps they can offer a fix OR replace the device through warentee. I'm pretty sure you won't have any problems going through warentee. You have not altered your device in anyway so you will be good. I would contact them asap and see what they have to say. I wish you the best and hope you get this resolved soon. Let us know what they say. Likely you will get a new device . Good luck!

Yeah I've tried that, reboot and factory reset and it's still not working

I live in Norway so as You know Scandinavian countries recieved ICS update as first. I was running my device without any problems since then, nothing at all and then yesterday evening this **** happened Yeah but i can try fixes or tommorow i will get Nexus Damn i hope those guys at the store aint gonna make any problems (i spared money for 6 months to buy this phone and now that :/ )

Finaly today i got my phone back. They just flashed new Rom into it. You can imagine how happy i was (let the customize begin ) When i came back home the first thing i've done was installation of ADW Launcher Ex then suddenly i see that my volume button is missing (FUUCKK) I've found it on the carpet. So i've tought that i'll read about it in the internet. Everyone was complaining about HTC's Customer Service. But i've filled the form, attached two photos and after five minutes THEY called me. The guy was verry nice and only because my device is six months old i don't have to pay for the cover BUT suddenly right after we end talking a LAG came back. SOME FUUCKKINNGG DISASTER !!! So my friend have called me and i was able to answer the phone. I think it's because of ADW Launcher because right after i've unnistaled it everything works fine. Such a shame, i really like this launcher. Can You guys give me some tips about launcher similar to ADW. Cheers

Just take the plunge and root the phone and stick a rom on there.

[Q]3g is popping on and off like it wants to start up but doesnt and no connection??

i have no clue what going on here.. but i dont have any data... but voice works fine.. ive done multiple reboots.. running opensensation..

You can change your data connection . Example my device always wants to go to edge, which is really slow so I lock on to wcma only which is 4 g. You can try the different connections by going to #*#*4636*#*# it will bring you to a menu you press phone information, then press your current connection and another menu will come up with available connections, pick the one you want and scroll down to refresh . I'm not sure this will do the trick but if you have any available connections you can hook up this way. It depends what's available in your area .I was going crazy with my device always going to edge so Iocked onto 4 g this way. It works for me. I do hope it helps. Are you rooted and running custom Rom? If you are and this method does not work perhaps try a different radio? Best of luck hope this helps some

im rooted running open sensation running the latest firmware so i shouldnt have to flash a radio its been working before.. for the past month i had my phone.. this is the first time its doing this..
ok im gonna update and wipe my dalvik.. see if that works

yeah that still didnt work.. and this is really troubling me.. i posted in the opensensation thread..

I had the same problem with roms based of CM9. The only solution is to back up everything (titanium backup helps with backing up apps), wipe and re-flash.

No need for wipe.
Just re-flash the current ROM. You will have to apply all your Mods again, but the rest of the data will remain fine.
(I had the same problem about two days ago)

Radio problems do not come up all of a sudden.

Yeah i fixed it.. I had to backup and then restore my tmobile stock rom.. Then restore my cm9 backup.. Seemed to fix it but wow that was weird..

Its happend to me after i flashed somthing. All i did was put it in Airplane mode and rebooted. After reboot turn off airplane mode. Got everything back.

Huge Network Issues (TMO)

I just recently completed a move from Vegas to Phoenix. Upon arriving i saw that my mobile network just constantly bounced from edge to none to 4g to 3g and nothing ever above 2 bars. no matter where i go, thats the way it is. even when other people with TMO are right next to me and have perfect service. i finally bit the bullet and went into the tmo store and basically the guy told me that i had to get a new phone. My current rom is paranoid android but it does the same on AOSP MIUI and sense 4 viper rom. havent tried any others because i figure i have most of my bases covered there. ive flashed every combination of radio and RIL possible and it does the same thing. when i went in, they gave me a new sim card because they said my sim card was "2G" but seemed to pick up 4g just fine in vegas with 0 issues.
did my phone just really magically break while driving i guess?
another note: it seems worst when sending text messages, like ill recieve one with 2 bars of 3g, type it out, hit send, right after i hit send it just drops the service and says message cannot be delivered. i just have to keep getting it sent back and send it again until it finally goes through. this issue is very very frustrating. thanks for any help you guys can give me, i do want to get a new phone but need this one to work until i can afford it. oh yeah, newest firmware if that matters but i hadnt even updated it before i got out here, it was just one of things i tried to fix it. NOTHING has worked or even helped a little bit.

You and I live in different ends of the US but we seem to have the same issue. My wife has a Sensation also and has good signal most places when I can be right beside her and have no signal, just like right now, I will be lucky to get this to send. I too have tried several radios and RIL's also. I got some advice from mf2112 a short while back. I am just now going to look into it further. Check the pins that make connection to the back cover and make sure they all are making good connection. I am checking mine as soon as I get home, I am sick of not having signal when I know I should.

Hey guys i have an advice the same happened with me and i installed the official ruu with european radio and ril and it just went fine from there and after that i installed many roms(i lost the count anyway)it worked fine 4me try it out bestof luck

I just checked my connections and even lightly cleaned the dust off of them to see if maybe that was the issue. actually seems like it helped a little but not enough to solve the issue. it was definitely worth a shot though. might be placebo effect tho...

are you talking about flashing the actual RUU that says "mod edit: do not flash" or are you talking about the 3.33 firmware from europe? i flashed this firmware and it didnt help my issues. im wondering if i shouldnt try to go back to 100% stock or something this is very frustrating. the guy at the store told me "you know, when you flash things over and over sometimes stuff just breaks" which doesnt make any sense to me. every phone ive ever had i could flash as i please. and i wasnt even heavily flashing anything on this one until i started having this issue.

The issue is only from cm9 and aokp.. try flashog hyper nonsense and you shouldn't have issues.. problem is u lose all the aokp settings
It seems.like the issues flux in out.. one day it will work.. one day it wont.. sometimes I.wonder if the tower you are connected to.makes a difference
No,.it.doesn't break from.flashing it.over and over.. the storage is flash so it doesn't have a limit

My wifi was working fine before but yesterday I tried getting on wifi and the position seems to be stuck. It seems like it was to connect but it wont connect, i leave my phone to try and connect for many hours and it doesnt. I go to mysettings to try and turn the wifi position to off and i cant. Ive tried restarting and taking the battery out and nothing helps. I got my wifi to turn off, and after a few hours without trying to get on wifi i tried connecting and its back to what it has been doing, like in a stuck position. I got it to go off by turning the phone off completly for a few hours. Any help is well appreciated. Thank you in advance. I tried attaching a picture to better explain this, but for some reason I cant even attach a file.

I've been having weird WiFi issues recently too. I'm stock. I disabled the ATT Smart WiFi but that doesn't seem to fix things. Tried one of the WiFi applications to reconnect when it detects the failure but that works only about 99% of the time.

My phone is stock, havent done any upgrades besides that of android. Im a beginner, so i wouldnt know how to answer this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

My wifi doesnt even connect now, it shows that its trying to connect but it wont. The wifi icon doesnt go to full green, it stays on a transparent green, like it wants to connect but wont.

If it was me I'd flash the stock from and get it back to the way it used to be. But if you're on stock now and haven't done any flashing its going to take a lot of learning on your part. You are going to have to learn to use odin and where to get the stock rom. Not sure if you're up for that.

If you both are on stock call ATT. They will be more then happy to help you. With your level of knowledge that is your best course of action. They will most likely tell you to factory reset your phone. You will loose all your apps and settings. Tell them you want to back that up first. They should be able to help you from there.

Hey guys,
I've been using this phone (skyrocket ROGERS version) and have had this problem ever since I "upgraded" to ICS; and I've had so many problems with this phone! I've just learned to accept that my WiFi will never work consistently enough for me to use it so I just always use my data plan (luckily I've got a lot of data).
THINGS I HAVE TRIED
Cm 10 stable
Cm 10 nightly
Cm 9 stable
Miui
Flashing stock ICS
Flashing stock Jb
Things I haven't tried
Flashing stock gingerbread (because this was the only time my WiFi worked consistently, but why go back to gingerbread)
If anybody has ANY insight on this it would be very helpful
I guess I should also mention that I've flashed everyone of these ROMs that I listed at least 3-5 times just to ensure it wasn't just a bad flash.
