I have an amlogic intex envy tab which i purchased from dubai(I stay in india). The tab dint ship with a android Market so i used this(LINK) to install the app on my tab!!!I opened the market and it worked, The device name(AMLOGIC INTEX ENVY) also showed up in my google play but when i try to download any app from the market in my tab it just shows starting download and it does not download at all. But when i use google play on my pc to download any app to my tab it downloads.. And my tab is running froyo(2.2) then y dosent the android market upgrade to google play????
Please help me with the app download(Through the tab) and the google play update
There's a high chance that you haven't copied MarketUpdater.apk to the device, or It's not working. You could also try updating it manually with an apk from a thread in the Android apps & games section. The apk should just install as normal

Check out this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1550167 it has a link to the play stores apk file. If the link is down just do a Google search for it.

I had the google play store disappear from my app drawer but could see it when you go under settings - apps
what i did is show all apps click on the google play one then select uninstall updates.
that worked for me my icon is back in my drawer now.

I've just flashing my grab p1000 to custom rom ics aokp.. but the play store is missing. Then I download its .apk then installed it but it won't open. Is that normal? Or I should download again?

Try to go on you computer or something that you can link the device up to then down load of G APPS ,then if your rooted install via recovery as zip file on ext sdcard

If the play store is force closing, then u can try to clear data of the play store app in settings -> apps -> all apps -> playstore -> clear data

Why don't you use the play store? Chrome works for entering mobile google play.
I've used maybe all browsers the google play is blocked on all browser at my device i need the google play web site access to buy apps and i've prob with play store app thanks

Hello people!
Im facing difficulties using my skygo account on Z1. I always used to view by APP transfered from my nexus 7 (rooted) - It always worked flawlessly. Now I updated by transferring new version and starting the app results in a flashing "hacked" screen. Now while this is an official Version from PlayStore I think its a new thing by Sky itself to make it unusable on unsupported device or something. I tried using apk downloaded from Web with same result.
Now - does anyone have any way to still use sky go on xpetia z1?! Maybe an older version or a workaround??

Found solution:
1. Install xposed framework with native hook
2. Install skycast module
3. Reboot
4. Launch SkyGo.
Or just follow instructions for skycast module !!

try this [requires wifi connection or 3g data connectivity]
1. First open the app named Xiaomi Market which is an inbuilt app and you'll have to sign in with an account (or sign up..so that you can start downloading apps)
2. search for googe play store and then hit install
If it works maybe its because xiaomi provides a google play store compatible with their miui os
