[Q] Word prediction/ Spell correction - HTC One S

Yey just got my One S and my first question is:
Can anyone help me get rid of spell correction. I tend to write in two languages in the same message some times and once i press the space bar the words change to that stupid prediction/correction.
I need some help with that

[Q] Keyboard text suggestions

Hi all,
I am having a problem with keyboard suggestions. I type the word that is not an "English word", and then I tap on the word, tap on the "plus" to add it to my text suggestion library. Then i try to type that same word once more, and I can't find it in the text suggestion ribbon.
Am I doing something wrong? It seems to me that text suggestion doesn't work with any other language except in the ones that are supported by WP7. Am I right?
Any help would be appreciated

problems with the 2-parted keyboard

Hey i just got my new note 10,1
When i saw it had the posibility to chsnge the keyboard to a 2 part i was very happy...
But when i use that keyboard it dosent work right...
Example when i press the M key i got C insted and so on.. some keys is correct, but i can't find the solution to the problem
Can anybody help ?
With the two other keybords everything is fine
I happened to realise that typing is much harder on the split keyboard but i didnt notice that it was registering my inputs wrongly so im not sure about that. I tot it was just my fingers and the over-zealous autocorrect.
If its really a bug, we can only wait for a software update.
Anyone else?
no problems at all on my note... (language settings are on german input)
Sammy keyboard hints:
1. I have German and English keyboard activated plus T9 word proposals and switch back and forth depending in which forum I post
Sumtimes accidently I switch to English or forget to switch back when I type German and THEN it´s a mess .............................
Word prediction is even more messy and unusable when You use the FLOATING keyboard.
Solution: before You get angry or You have no patience to train word prediction switch word prediction off (which I did) or set to have predictions only after 3 or 4 or 5 characters typed (settings!)
I have to admit Swiftkey is much better in this concern but not available as floating for Note 10.1
2. Split keyboard works nicely when word prediction is off. You might have the impression that keys respond wrongly but it´s the word prediction that types the wrong letters.
3. Either I am too clumsy or did not get it right but the change between the three types of keyboards with two fingers hardly works for me instantly. I always produce a lot of funny text until I get it switched ...............
Maybe there is a tip from our fellows here to get the change precisely ......................
Summary: play around in keyboard settings and find Your personal settings that satisfy You .......................
@troed Thanks for the tip!
Didnt realise that the i could go into the sub-options under 'predictive text'. Awesome!
Maybe THIS thread could also be of help to You:

There are a lot of "hidden" features, tweaks and settings that make the Note10.1 life wonderful
Takes some time to work through but it´s worth it......... :good::highfive::laugh:

[Q] Keyboard dictionaries - Custom languages and autocorrect suggestions modification

These are questions about the stock android keyboard (using jelly bean 4.2 keyboard):
1. How can I modify the language files to create a custom language (for example, I want to stop switching back and forth between languages and have a "SPANGLISH" (english and spanish) hybrid dictionary that auto suggests and corrects at least semi-decently when I switch languages 2 or 3 times per sentence without having to switch the keyboard language back and forth so often... Right now what I do is have both english and spanish with auto correction, and a third language option that doesn't auto correct my typing (but still annoyingly underlines the supposedly misspelled words). Ideally, I want to type my spanglish and have android be cool with it and correct misspelled words. Possible now as is, or would some new coding be required?
2. Can I train or modify the word suggestions in the android keyboard standard languages? I notice a few fairly annoying things like when I type in US ENGLISH the word "dont" (without an apostrophe), autocorrect changes the word to "DONT" (upper case, no apostrophe). Why would it think that when the all upper case DONT is not in any custom dictionary either.
3. Finally, and a little unrelated perhaps but just getting all my keyboard annoyances out of the way... Is there any way to get the stock keyboard to expand text (like auto-text in blackberry).. Such as typing "ttyt" gets replaced by "talk to you tomorrow".. ?
Have searched everywhere on xda and other forums and engines and haven't really found an answer.. but maybe I'm just not looking for the right keywords.. Am willing to get my hands dirty about this if nothing easy and readily available exists if someone can please point me in the right direction. Thanks!
Nobody? A lead, a hint?

[Q] Disable keyboard suggestions when clicking a word

Hey all, is there any way to disable suggestions when clicking a misspelled word on Android 5? It displays a sort of list with words that drives me nuts. I don't want to disable suggestions, as I like the bar on top of the keyboard with predictions. On Kitkat this did not happen, I guess there must be someway.
Thanks in advance
