So I installed Widgetlocker and used it for a bit but since then I wanted to go back to stock and uninstalled it.
The problem is when I was running Widgetlocker I picked an alternate wallpaper and now after uninstalling Widgetlocker the alternate wallpaper still appears on my lockscreen! How do I get rid of that?!?
app drawer > open personalize > Lock screen style > choose the first style which should be Wallpaper > before pressing on Apply, press Settings > Use custom wallpaper > Enjoy!

For example:
Homescreen > Menu > Settings > Phone Storage.
I want an app that I could create a shortcut on the homescreen to immediately launch to "Phone Storage".
This is just an example. What i'm truly trying to accomplish on a Droid X is:
Homescreen > Menu > Settings > Battery & Data > Data Usage and then turn off the 3G by unchecking "Data Enabled".
I tried "Extended Controls Widget" but that doesn't seem to have the option to create a shortcut to do that.
*Edit*
Nevermind, I found in ADW where to do this. You add a shortcut and choose ADW Activity.
Transparent lock screen on top of home screen after fixing permissions in ROM manager...how to fix this?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk
While I cannot tell you how to permanently fix this, I can tell you it happens to me as well. I guess for now we must go re-choose the lockscreen wallpaper whenever we fix permissions.
Adb pull framework-res and change the default lock wallpaper and the keyguard wallpaper to ones of your choosing. They are in res/hdpi.
How to fix lock screen glitch?
Hey guys.
Quick question. Hope this is a good forum for this question. Hopefully someone has the answer that I have overlooked.
Lockmenu is a very cool lock screen app(to me, anyway. I'm a noob so...). Gives very quick access from the lock screen to whatever apps you wish. Sort of like Shortcuts, but directly from a lock screen.
My problem is when I unlock from the main Unlock Slider on the bottom left, it takes me to the default lock screen on my Skyrocket.
How do I disable the default system lock screen?
There is no option in the settings to disable the default lock screen for those of you who might think its that simple.
Anyone else having this problem?
I have tried the Nolock app first to disable the default system lock screen, but...
So in other words I go through two lock screens most of the time. Once in awhile it will unlock to the home screen from the Lockmenu Unlock Slider as it is supposed to.
I'm running ICS rooted on Galaxy Skyrocket.
Any help is much appreciated.

Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix? I can hit the Nova app icon and it will set it the launcher. However, as soon as I hit the home button it reverts back to default. Additionally when in Nova Settings, I tap the header that says tap to set Nova as default launcher, for a half second it acts like it is bringing up another screen momentarily but then stays on the main settings screen. It does the same thing when I scroll down to the Select Default Home where currently Huawei Home is set. I have tried other launchers additional to Nova including: Google Now, TSF, and Smart Launcher. I am currently running the latest update of Nova Launcher Prime 4.3.1, on a GEM-703L, running Android 6.0.
Thanks for any help.
Try this:
1. go to settings > apps>advanced>default app settings
That fixed it! Thank you so much!
Please tell me there is away to remove screen icons without having to use a 3rd party launcher. I just got the P20 Lite and it's driving me crazy, how am i not able to just drag shortcuts off my homscreen in 2018?
By default, you will find all of your apps on the home screens of your P20 and P20 Pro. What you need to do is enable the App Drawer. Enabling the App Drawer is simple: Go to Settings > Display > Home screen style and choose Drawer. From there you will be able to drag and drop, and rearrange apps on the home screen to your liking
rapidly loosing the patience to keep my p30, please not i have exactly the same issue on my mate 10 pro. Both are running different huawei ID accounts.
so essentially i want to apply a new theme. To do this i go into the theme store, download the theme I want & select apply. The whole theme applies.
To customise it i then go: theme store > me > customise > i then have the option to select the following:
- lock screen style
- lock screen wallpaper
- home screen wallpaper
- icons
- text style
i can change the home screen wall paper no issues & it will apply, but when i try to change the lockscreen wall paper even if i choose one of the presets (eg not a photo from my the gallery) then i get the following message "keep the current lock screen style? if you discared it, Magazine unlock will be used instead" .
If I select keep them I keep the theme of the lockscreen but it means i have to use the image it comes with ie i can't change it to my own preferred photo.
If I select discard then it automatically reverts back to magazine unlock theme for lockscreen though will apply my desired image.
I have trawled google to find resolutions to this including enabling developer mode, which didnt make a difference. Other sources say trying the following:
settings > home screen & wallpaper > magazine unlock and just slide it off
or
or Screen lock & password > Magazine unlock
but neither of the above options are avaialbe to me under settings.
I also found something about managing subscriptions & stopping auto download but again those options I cannot find on my device.
it's strange this issue is occuring on both devices which are running diffferent software:.
m10p is running emui 9.1.0
p30 is running emui 10.0
it seems a basic function to be able to choose lockscreen style I want & the wall paper I want & if i can't do this then honestly tempted to just get rid of the device. Also magazine unlock has auto downloaded over 800 wallpapers to my device (m10p) I don't want this happening on the p30 but as above i can't seem to find a way to stop it on either device.

Well this is weird.
Everybody should have this option. To disable Magazine Unlock.
I have it.

You can just go into settings and search for "magazine" without the quotes.
Or Settings - > Homescreen and Wallpaper - > Magazine Unlock

Please see this Huawei support link Magazine unlock does not work or switch between images, which you should be able use to enable Magazine Unlock (MU) to display in Settings > Home screen & wallpaper....
For this, go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Themes > Me > Customise > touch Lock screen style > touch Magazine Unlock > then touch Apply (near the bottom).
Once done, go into Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > MU (which should now appear after making the change above - if not, reboot the phone) & unfollow the various categories there below, so it stops downloading more wallpapers. In the M10P (also after making MU appear), this might be under Subscriptions as detailed here.
When you have enabled MU to display in Settings (as above), you should be able to make a particular image/your own choice appear every time in the lockscreen without any of the conflicts you experienced before...
For this, go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Themes > Me > Customise > touch Lock screen wallpaper > Gallery (near the bottom) > Choose the one you need & touch the tick mark to confirm/set.
At this point, if I keep MU enabled / disabled, the same chosen image displays in the lockscreen every time - just as you need it hopefully :good:

P.S. Not sure if related - deleting all the images from the original MU images also deletes the MU option from Settings - only a factory reset brought the option back: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81625457&postcount=9
