Treasure your phone dont diss it... - LG Optimus 3D

Just been following up on HTC's One X as i was trying to see if i can trade my O3D with ONe X since GSIII seems bit far away but reading their threads makes me love my O3D for it's build quality. Not only that the software for oneX is crap as well as many are complaining no multitasking and when they switch to another app previous one is cancelled.
Good reading on the below link where HTC asked from about users experience on their phone, it's a pretty eye opening read and for people like myself to start loving their O3D

You are missing the hardware issues point. Their super flagship phone costing a lot w/o contract has build issues from day one. Some people have returned more than 6 times their phones. Also with doing CWM they tend to lose warranty even though earlier HTC had mentioned they will support dev community.
NOw how many threads we have of hardware issues on O3D? Also i've installed tons of ROMs in last 7~8 months and i did not face any hardware issue.
HTC phone gets overheated from using even 2d games while it's charging on htc provided wall charger and if they use usb the phone does'nt charge but starts losing juice when i'ts being used. So with no way to replace battery or external SD card to save ur data if you screw up your phone u need to send it for replacement and possibility of losing ur data..
Damn i' wouldn't want to be in their shoes at the moment and hope siii is of much better quality.

There is no question that the hardware side of the phone is top notch. CPU, GPU, screen and camera are still some of the best. Also the plastics and the designs screams "quality" and not "cheap" like other, more expensive, phones.
However, the major drawback is the software. With the half-baked Froyo and GB, there are frequent lags, freezes and the general feeling is more like having a single core and not a top notch double core phone. Not to mention the ghost-calls issue which took LG seven months to fix (?).

Not another one of these threads...
I read somewhere that said the HTC Sensation's bootloader is locked. Though it's not impossible to unlock it but it will be difficult and it might take awhile.

Engadget had a post today saying that HTC was considering unlocking the bootloader.
In a market where the (good) phones are currently even so far as specs are concerned, a company would be shooting themselves in the foot by restricting a system that the others are leaving open.
My 2 cents.
My other 2 cents is if you can wait, then wait. Play with the Sensation when it comes out. You like it, buy it. You don't, buy the G2x.
My last bit of change, if you are content for the time being with the phone you have, don't jump for either until at least a month after the Sensation has come out. Right now, the G2x user experience for the majority of us is frustrating and I can only imagine the Sensation will be the same. Just wait and see what comes of both of them.
Get all of them!!!!! :d:d:d:d:d
I posted a TON of information why I didn't like the Sensation. The encrypted locked bootloader was high on the list but here are others:
-The Tegra 2 is like 33% more powerful then the dual-core snapdragon
-HDMI/microUSB = No HDMI Out + Charging (since no TV's support the MDLP yet)
-Locked encrypted Bootloader + New Sense = Mercy of HTC for bug fixes
-NVidia pushing devs for enhanced Tegra Apps = No go on non-Tegra devices
-Lower Res Front Camera
It does look like a sexy phone though. We'll see what problems it has out of the box compared to the G2x.
The G2x does have its problems but Tegra chips are new. Most work pretty well out of the box. Most of the issues we have is from the phone shipping with a 2.2 Kernel and everyone is flashing the leaked 2.3.3 rom. The drivers and stuff get funky but we're expected to get an updated kernel soon (the OS was already leaked).
I would agree though that I would wait a few weeks. While the G2x is great, it would be best to know your options to what best suites you. The Sensation is due out soon and you can compare the two side-by-side.
If the bootloader was unlocked, I could "possibly" live with the other stuff.
Wait and see what our big gingerbread update looks like on the g2x because like someone said before, this has been a frustrating experience so far... once we get that bad boy out and assuming it is a stable, quality build with much better driver support then the sky is the limit with this device! it will be the tegra2 flagship phone for the next 18 months
few things about the sensation that bothered me from my n1, and this is an HTC issue, their external speakers are a joke to say the least, poorly positioned, horrible sound, never loud enough... the g2x's external speaker is pretty solid in my opinion. And the HTC cameras are nothing to brag about either. I saw a video of both phones doing 1080p recording and the Sensation had a horrible red-shift problem...
number 1 nicely put player911 and yo the g2x is a ****in beast i had alot of phones n this one is the fastest yea theres little problems here n there but they will get addressed with updates this phone is a dev magnet not so sure the sensation will be like that especially if htc doesnt to unlock the bootloader ...y the **** would they do that no one else does that just screams dont buy me ur at the mercy of htc n there never to come updates if theres bugs dude i say g2x all the way!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I love this phone but the lack of custom ROMs is starting to annoy me. I want a damn MIUI ROM or at least something other than CM7 and EaglesBlood (I love AOSP though but MIUI on top of AOSP would be perfect). HTC phones always seem to end up with the most development behind them and their touch panels are some of the most sensitive in the industry (quite unlike the G2x which annoys the hell out of me sometimes with how hard I have to press on it). I think the tides will start to turn on HTC development though with the locked bootloaders.
That said, between HTC, LG, and Samsung - I'd pick the Samsung. For one, HTC uses Snapdragon chips - Qualcomm has a long (very long) history of promising that their chips will do this, that, the third, and even the fourth - but they never come through. Tegra 3 is coming out this year though and that's going to be a beast to contend with - the Exynos from Samsung absolutely decimates the Tegra 2.
Build quality on my Captivate was phenomenal - I've never had an HTC phone with great build quality - and that's going all the way back to the PPC-6800. There have always been issues. This is my first LG phone and while I enjoy it a lot, the touch panel sensitivity is a huge issue when I'm gaming and really needs to be fixed.
Also, HTC tends to say that the phone has "x" amount of storage space but what really happens (like what happened with the Inspire) is they partition and format it in a way that means you get slightly less than half what they advertise. HTC also has a history of shoddy driver support.
The only pro I see with the HTC is how fast HTC does device updates - that said, they're always sloppy releases and devs have to take them apart anyway - add in the locked bootloader and I don't really see a lot of devs going that way. Also the TegraZone is quickly growing - developers are really taking to the Tegra platform and producing some astounding applications as a result. There is no Qualcomm or Samsung zone and Tegra-optimized applications will not run on another chipset.

Switched to the g2x

Bye. My touch 4g, it's been almost a year, we had an awesome run, and your still one of my favorites, but Ive moved on to the g2x, and I haven't had any of the problems other are experiencing , this is a pretty awesome phone and I don't regret it, but if a new mytouch from HTC comes out ill be sure to go with that, until then ill be rocking the g2x.

That is one of the phones I am contemplating jumping ship for, how is LGs UI? You'll have to give a small review if you don't mind. Not sure if I want to go G2X or Sensation. Never owned an LG but I loooove HTC. Either way, good luck with the new phone.

Thanks guys, as for the phone itself its awesome I'm running bionix2, so I didn't really get accustomed to the stock UI, the screen itself is larger so typing is easier, and the colors seem allot deeper, I do miss my led notification light but that can be replaced with mods to the capasitive buttons (someone will come up with that), and the sensation is actually running a older processor arm a8 clocked at 1.2ghz vs the g2x arm a9 processer at 1ghz, so its actually better to get the g2x, I haven't had any problems and the update will fix any bugs, and by the time the sensation comes out the update will be released so either way I'm good.

I've been thinking of doing the same. I'm so fed up with HTC's lack of quality control that I've been looking at picking up a used Vibrant.
I love this device but after 7 phones, FINALLY getting a perfect phone and now a few months later having dust under the screen the romance is gone.
Let us know how it goes with the g2x. Maybe when the sensation comes out I'll give HTC another chance.

I feel EXACTLY the same way. Took my 5 phones to get to my perfect good screen then one month later dust under the top left corner of my screen.... And it's just getting worse. I love HTC but they quality control is horrendous. I don't care what people say about Samsung and their quality, but they make damn god phone's whether it's plastic or not. I've been trying to trade my phone for a Nexus S just because of this.
No problems here...
This is very interesting to read the users on this forum have exchanged their MT4G seven times. I have had absolutely no problems with my phone and I purchased it when it was released.

I got mine when it came out and it has the crap screen, but that was the only problem. But a few weeks ago i got a deal on one i couldn't pass on,with the good screen. I might sell that one, but i got a bad habit of keeping all my phones. Lol
I agree with the OP too, don't get the sensation. The CPU in it is actually outdated and QualComm already has a Quad-Core CPU in the works. Go with a Mali device or Tegra 2/3 .
G2x is quality control isn't that good either. My G2x has the worst LCD I've ever seen. It bleeds from all 4 corners and the battery only last 8 hours. I am running my own aosp rom.

So definitely no Samsung products for you, since they make more differentiating products than any manufacturer. The G2x is having problems, just go look at their forums, but a patch is coming out soon that should alleviate the problems, except for the LCD bleeding.
I have to say, a ton of LG Optimus Ts get sold I have never had to do troubleshooting on one. I would say most calls are about HTC or Motorola products. In my own personal experience of troubleshooting, I'd say the manufacturers that make many different products seem to have the least problem phones, when compared to the phone only manufacturers.

The people with a good G2x, which is most, absolutely love their phone and the patch should fix the rest. Remember HTC made the HD2 and Motorola made the Cliq & Cliq XT. I cringe when I hear someone having a problem and I know exactly which line has the problem because one of the 3 phones above are the culprit. 1
Even with the G2x issues, LG and Samsung have a better track record than Motorola and HTC is problems with phones.
That may be true, they may love their phones. But to buy the G2X when the next big wave is about to come out makes no sense to me whatsoever. It is like purchasing a 2010 Ferrari a month before the 2011 comes out. (I use that example because smart phones are usually the same price, and that is a car where the price is not an issue). And as for the quality issue, I have never had an issue whatsoever with an HTC phone. I am a firm believer that 99% of the issues are user related. Like the guy who had 7 Mt4G's that wouldn't wake up on the stock ROM..c'mon now..
I loved HTC until recently. Had a flawless mt3g for almost a year and sold it for exactly what I paid for it. Here's the history with my glaciers.
1. Dust under screen.
2. Mushy power button and bad screen.
3. Bad screen.
4. Loud click from bottom.
5. Less loud click.
6. Keeper.
Three months later I have massive dust under screen.
7. Bad screen.
8. Mushy power button, scuffed up, bad emmc chip.
9. Bad screen.
At this point I gave up. I'm staying with #6 and shopping for a used Vibrant.

Like I said, you may be right. Maybe I just got lucky to get a good phone. I have had absolutely no issues. Good screen, good emmc chip, no dust under screen. I just associate LG with crappy products. I still would have waited for the Sensation.

What phones are coming out that outdo it? The G2x will get 2.3 very soon and has a tegra 2 processor that won't be outdone by the Sensation's chip. It may be faster processing speed(200Mhz) but many think the Tegra 2 processor is still faster than the Qualcomm.
You'll choose the Sensation if you want a 4.3" screen and the G2x if you want a 4" screen. They're made for different people, with speed and abilities being pretty well equal. The next jump won't happen until this fall with the quad-core processors.

Galaxy S2 returned, preordered Sensation

Hi!
I returned my Samsung Galaxy S2 back to the store and am now waiting for the HTC Sensation. While the Galaxy S2 is a nice phone, I really despise the TouchWiz. Even with ADW Launcher EX & WidgetLocker mitigating the terribleness of the interface Samsung has built, the stock apps still are very uncomfortable to use - especially e-mail, messaging and calendar are lacking. And most of their other attempts at apps aren't any better - dismal at best.
The back cover is unpleasant to remove which is peeving if you like to switch the battery to a fresh one (although spare batteries are not released till mid-june) or regularly move between different countries and therefore like to change SIMs (like I do).
I also would have preferred a capacitive home-button, instead of a physical switch.
Other bugs (which will probably soon be patched) are bothersome as well, like the 3G data connection regularly stalling - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1097612
Specs-wise I think having a higher resolution screen will be a very nice addition, the lower amount of RAM & internal storage probably won't be all that noticeable. I wonder why HTC didn't include an HSPA+ radio, but I think that is something I can definitively live with.
Are any other Samsung Galaxy S2 expatriates lurking on this board? What were your Galaxy-experiences, why are you now waiting for the HTC Sensation instead?

I didn't mean to paint you as a fanboy. By the same token I'm not a fanboy either. Before the disaster that was the G2X my last five phone's were HTCs and I really liked all of them. I had to get the SGS2 because the Sensation wouldn't have been availbale before the G2X had to be returned to T-Mobile. I would have seriously considered the Sensation if that wasn't the case. I'm a phone geek which is why I'm following the Sensation; not to bash it. Both phones are going to have considerable strengths and weaknesses. We should be able to discuss them without threads turning in to page after page of "yes it is," "no it isn't." Peace.

I disappoint... Galaxy S II is much better!
Since 2003 I'm a HTC sure user but now I have to disappoint at all with you and with HTC!
I'm very sorry the new sensation is just considered worse than Galaxy S II but we have to admit this is the thuth!
1) Also if the Galaxy Display resolution (480x800pxl) is lower than htc sens (540x960) its technology is better than htc because is "amoled" and so we have a lower battery consuption, better coulor and luminosity, and better view when there is much sunlight
2) RAM: 1024Mb for Galaxy, 768Mb for htc: no words.....
3) Internal memory: 16Gb or 32Gb (depends by the phone version) for Galaxy while htc sens have got just 1GB! no words still!!
4) cameras: Samsung first one 8mpxl, second one (frontal) 2mpxl; for htc sens is 8mpxl the first one too, but 1.3mpxl the sencond one....
5) battery consuption: with a very similar usage Galaxy SII lasts about 2 full days, while HTC sens just 1/1,5days
I'm very sad to tell it but this time I'll change and I'll buy a Samsung...
Good decision OP, who cares about SamSux. I'll give give them 2-3 month and all hell will break lose in there. SamSux bashing SamSux, look at our development section phones isn't release and no clockwork mod yet and we have 3 roms already. That just tells you HTC is more superior than SamSux. Untill they change their filesystem, HTC will be prefer choice for dev community. Don't matter what spec they have.

I loved the fact that the Galaxy S2 is a very sleek design, thin and light. But the drawbacks - especially in the software area - are very obvious. Their replacements of stock Google apps are, in general, not better but much worse than the original. Plenty of bugs still plague the software - the current version of Music player causes random reboots, data connection is stalling all the time.
Sense (from what I could test on colleagues phones - mainly Desire HD) seems much more thought out and usable to me. I will, still, probably switch to a stock Android ROM, should one arise. But I don't want to be dependent on that.

While AMOLED certainly does produce excellent black levels and saturated colours (maybe even oversaturated), after owning a Nexus One with AMOLED since release I do think the drawback of the technology is the inevitable screen burn-in you get after a few months of use. Nothing that is really bothersome, but LCD technology certainly does have its advantages (besides the higher resolution)

The actual available application memory on the Galaxy S2 is about 2GB, the rest is formated as an internal SD card. In my situation, I typically have about 500MB of app space used - 2GB would have been a nice, but that will still leave me with plenty of headroom once my Sensation is here. A 32GB SD-card will take care of all other storage problems (mainly podcasts, music).

This will vary greatly, but the battery access cover on the Galaxy S2 is very flimsy and uncomfortable to remove. I always carry a second battery for my Nexus One, I will do the same for my Sensation. Changing batteries on the Galaxy S2 (as soon as replacements are available in stores) will be a hassle.
i've done the opposite i've got rid of my sensation and have back ordered the sgs2 the biggest killer for me was the locked bootloader
i know that htc have said they wont lock any more phones but as yet they havent said that they will unlock previous handsets
i know i'm going to get flamed but i really didnt like the sensation it just didnt sit in my hand properly the sgs2 feels better ...... i know it feels cheaper but whats the point in having the expensive feeling phone if it feels wrong in your hand and therefore is difficult to use

You may get flamed by some of the fanboys, but at the end of the day it's all about what feels good to YOU and stuff the rest. I again prefer the more solid feel and try to avoid "cheap" plasticky feel, plus have been put off by plenty of users in many forums I've been to who knock Samsung's lack of updates. Hopefully for you they sort this out. Good luck with your choice
I probably still have a month or 2 before the Sensation is available here, and am hoping for some positive news re the bootloader saga.

I currently have a G2x as well as the Atrix. Ordered the Sensation and the SGS2 as well. Been using both the G2x and the Atrix for a while now and so far, I'm inclined towards the Atrix even though it has the locked bootloader simply because Ive had too many random reboot issues, freeze issues with the G2x (even though I've returned it twice) and I'm not concerned about the light bleed issue.
Once I've received the SGS2 and the Sensation (This Tuesday woohooo!!), I'll have all 4 to test with side by side. Will narrow it down to the top 2 and those are the ones I'm keeping I usually have 2 phones (1 work, 1 personal). If anyone has any suggestions or want me to look at/compare something in specific, let me know.
It's funny..... These [email protected] trolls still lurking in our thread searching for every details to start **** up? My my..... Go flash some TouchCrap will ya.. LMAO

A new ballpark

I'm sure almost every single one of in here debated on waiting for the sensation but strayed away because the locked bootloader...

I'm not going to make that decision until a few weeks after the Sensation drops. I'll wait to see reviews on...build quality...how fast it is...dev support etc...
I'm really happy with the g2x though...so, I won't be going anywhere unless the Sensation is clearly very superior. And I don't anticipate that...
I believe, even though they are saying they will not continue with locked bootloaders, that the Sensation's bootloader is indeed locked.
So it's going to come down to waiting for someone to unlock the bootloader, or waiting for HTC to do so, if they will do it for the device.
Personally, I won't be changing as I am not a fan of HTC devices at all.
Yeah I don't think the sensation will be unlocked and from what I have read it wont stand up to our g2xs but future htcs such as doubleshot and more will be unlocked bootloaders which kinda makes me have hope once again in HTC although I've always been a fan. Until the locked loaders and was very annoyed with the hd7 HTC lost points for that

and who ever said "ill wait for reviews" why dont you just buy a iphone already
your going to buy a $500 phone because of a few reviews?
*tips*
dont buy a phone because a review(s)
dont buy a phone based on ****ED apps claiming to benchmark all phones the same (cuz they dont)
dont buy a phone because everyone is getting it
buy a phone that you will like and meets your standards
otherwise buy a iphone cuz the reasons you stated why you will wait are like me stating a phone is better when its a fu*king opinion

Ummm...someone is off their meds...
So, we need an English lesson...let's review...there are many definitions, but this is the one I was primarily using.
Review: (noun) An inspection or examination for the purpose of evaluation.
Reviews of real usage from real users are indispensable. The type you might find in the XDA forums....where issues like screen bleed, random reboots, locked bootloaders, etc... are reviewed and discussed. Spending $500 on anything without reviewing the subject is just...stupid.
If you need clarification as to what I'm talking about, next time ask before you open your ass and start with the insults.
As for an Iphone...I wouldn't touch one with your slimy green weenie.
Oh, and Locked Bootloader = Not Buying....Thanks for reviewing that issue for me Dameon.

ha ha! Aren't you glad he's gone? He was taking all the fun out of this forum...
Sensation is auto fail because of the screen tech. I can see my g2x in direct sunlight.
G2x with CM7 and trinity kernel
Sensation most likely
Im outside of my 30 day buyers remorse period, however I have had it with the constant freezing and rebooting of the phone. I understand new devices come with bugs but seriously when its happening daily I dont consider it a bug I consider it broken. Tmo is giving me the run around about getting the phone returned but in the end the customer usually always wins.
Ill go back to my N1 until the Sensation comes out, who knows maybe the Sensation will suck and I can hold off until the SGS II is released. This all hinders on me actually staying with Tmo at this point. Verizon is looking better and better every day.
Htc is my favorite manufacturer. it's going to be near impossible to not be sitting at t-mobile when the store opens june 8th. If the Sensation becomes available before then online, I'll but it then, especially since htc announced their bootloaders will be unlocked.

Imo, the mt4g is one of the beast single core phones out. It's not really fair to compare it to a dual core. The hd2 is a best of a phone, especially considering it's age. Samsung phones feel cheap, and plasticy in my hands. I prefer to feel the weight of a phone.

It would be impossible for me to say what phone I would be getting next without using it. It's interesting how many people fall in love with devices based on specs and online reviews. Each handset comes with hidden features and bugs that usually make or break whether they are for you.
I am fortunate enough that I get my hands on most devices and get to take them for a spin for a few days, root them and try flashing some goodness. Most of my friends are tech junkies with more $ than common sense or skills so they just buy whatever is the latest and greatest, try to sell me on how awesome it is before they ever touch it, and then hand it off to me to root and install CWM or whatever is available for them. After purchasing my Vibrant I used at least 6 other handsets that were supposed to be better but had some sort of tradeoff I was unwilling to accept. Finally came the G2X and even though the tradeoff was getting rid of the amazing SAMOLED screen, which I still miss, the benefits were finally great enough to move on.
Now comes the Sensation, which looks great on paper (except for the internal storage), but is it really THAT much better than the G2X? I will reserve judgement until I get a crack at it, but it very much comforts me to know that some of the best developers on the net have a G2X, it is very easy to flash new roms as well as restore to stock condition, and because it launched with a vanilla OS it will/should receive updates sooner and more frequently. These last things mean a whole lot more to me than an extra LED for flash, .3" of screen, and .2Ghz. I also suspect that the Tegra II chipset will receive more love from the gaming community.

[Q] To Buy The HOX, Or Not To Buy The Hox...

Hello ;
I've been hovering around this device for a long while, been checking reviews and reading every thread on these forums...
The more i read, the more i'm confused, new bugs popping up and complaints like the suckish Multitasking are really makin' it a hard choice on me.
Not to mention the fact that i wanna use the device on Orange network in my country and there is so SIM-Unlock so far...i've seen the SIII and i'm leaning towards the HOX, but i'm too paranoid now thanks to all the issues and bugs !
Thoughts, Anyone ?

Hardware and screen are the best I've seen bar none. But the software bugs are too numerous and too significant for me to recommend it. Wifi, push email, multitasking, are all very important features that are severely flawed for many users of the one x. If HTC would fix these issues I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. If they don't fix then soon I'll be returning mine.
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
That's exactly my point, my bro is waiting on my "Go"...and i'm unable to decide if to take this "risk" and get the device and work out the bugs and fixes later
for what it's worth, I really don't have any of the issues of the above poster. I am seeing the multitasking "bug", but other than that, this handset is flawless. I'd say get it! (but this is really up to you...)
I think its luck of the draw or batch problems because I have had zero issues with push email or wifi. Both of these things work flawless on my device. The multitasking of course is the same on mine as everyone else's because HTC did that as a part of Sense i'm guessing to manage memory. I have the AT&T version just to clarify.
Every new device launching sure will have bugs or problems. I'm sure HTC will fix it.

and about framerate issues at 1080p im still undecided whether to buy or not the HOX but this bug is on the works or the Tegra3 chip will restrain the video abilities of this phone ?
I´ve been following threads here on the forum since launch and since the kernel sources are out any developpment on this ?
well it depends who are you...
if you are a hardcore android user, probably hold a little bit
if you are just a normal user, definitely One X is your best choice! even better than SGS3
OP, why would you want the AT&T One X and not the SIM unlocked international One X?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2
Despite all the flaws this phone has... it's a great phone. it'll last you a year or 2 without a problem. Its got a beautiful screen... and if the bootloader gets unlocked, this would definitely be one of the best phones to own. and even w/o the bootloader, its plenty fast. but if you can't handle minor annoyances like multitask, lack of expandable memory... forget about it.
i can live with the agressive multitaasking and with the 32 gb but watching a video recorded by the one x hurts the eye .... and my question is a software update would increase the bitrate of the video or the tegra 3 chip is limited and theres no salvation ?
There is an OTA update being released on May 28 which should fix many issues...the XL, international version has the quad core, but that does not mean its superior...more is not always better...I prefer dual core anyway...however I bet HTC has quad core in next phone...read something about the Tegra 3 not being compatible w the lte radio...not sure though..

Please dont buy it. If you happen to have a faulty handset god knows this forum will have another thread like " Disppointed w the HOX", or " who else is returning their HOX", or " this/that function is a joke on the HOX", or " HTC really messed up this/that". If you think you cant deal w the POSSIBLE bugs then just dont get yourself into the situation.
I agree...way too many 'whiners' posting threads...I'm not 100% happy w mine but I knew there would be minor issues in buy a brand new release phone..people compare the one x to the SII and SIII...Samsung is OK but the SII feels cheaply made...the AMOLED is not good at all...s3 will probably be similar...the ones crying about HTC should just stop whining on here and buy an S2 or something else..

i was going through the same thoughts, debating over HOX or gs3, finally decided to go with the HOX, its the first HTC phone ive owned and i had the captivate before this one. Such a huge improvement. The only thing that bothers me not having the bootloaders unlocked which i have high hopes from the devs to getting around this. All in all even in its stock condition it works flawlessly for me and performs above my expectations.
From Samsung SG2 to Galaxy Nexus to this, and I have to say it's been a long time since I have been so impressed with a phone. Build quality, radio performance and software tweaks are amazing. The last phone that I had that came close to this was the HTC H D2.
I'm returning my One X and getting the Galaxy Nexus.
I can't support a device or company that has a locked bootloader. Also the dev community and ROM choice for the Gnex is easily the best right now.
Watch. You jump ship on the HOX next day the devs get unlocked bootloader. Happened to me before. Twice. My two cents.
