problem restoring from titanium backup in a new ROM - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everybody, I've been with Codename Android for a while.
I did a full backup with Titanium before flashing the new
[ROM] Androxide 2.1.0 | AOSP | 4.0.4 | 05-05-2012
Installation went fine but when I restored my "apps+data" backup nexus s went bootlooping.
I presume this is because of some data backup.
Is there any way to install a new ROM and restore all in my backup?
Thanx
cignus

[Q] CAN WE restore stock 5.0.1 recovery on CM12 5.0.2?

Hi everyone
I have a nexus 5 running on stock rom (5.0.1) & I want to install the latest nightly CM12 ROM.
I just wanna know if, after that, I'll be able to restore my apps & data from a backup I already did with TWRP custom recovery?
Thanks
It should work as far as I know. You just have to restore the data partition

[Q] Cannot restore B114 using Nandroid

Hi all,
My current rom now is B390. I did a nandroid backup on B114 before I upgrade it to emui 3.0
I tried to restore B114, but it's unable to restore. It got stucked at restoring /system.
The reason I'm switching back to B114 is that I'd like to extract the Huawei camera apk.
Anybody with emui 2.3 care to extract out the camera apk? That would be very helpful.
Thanks!

Trying to find the ROM I used from last year

Hi Guys,
I had a 6.0.1 MM custom ROM (found here in the ROM section) installed on my Galaxy S7 SM-930F last year. I made a TWRP backup prior to upgrading to Nougat however stupid me I have forgotten a folder to manually back up when I was on MM. I've tried to downgrade and restore using TWRP to no avail.. it would say the restore is complete and stay stuck on the Samsung logo. My nanadroid backup ends with G930FXXU1APGH so I searching the ROM section of XDA forum to see if I can go back to what I installed as it appears I have no record of the ROM I downloaded here so I can restore the backup successfully. The backup I am trying to restore is from TWRP 3.0.0 and I am now using a 3.1.1
My questions are:
1.) Do I need to be on the same exact build number of Marshmallow for the TWRP restore to work? (I've tried older/newer TWRP/different build # for Marshmallow)
2.) Is there a best way to find out which custom rom I installed last year (search function?)? All I know is that my backup ends with G930FXXU1APGH so that build # is the only lead I have to search through the forum
3.) Restoring the backup always leads to a stuck Samsung logo. I've tried different TWRP, rooted and gone to Nougat/MM and restoring from there, cleared data/factory settings/cache etc. Any other suggestions?
Thank you for your help.
