There’s a relatively new app out there called Clover and its invite only. It basically allows you to make payments from your phone. It’s a pretty cool concept so I thought I would share it on here. You can get invited by me to join and get $5 for free just for signing up by clicking this link here or scanning the barcode.
https://www.clover.com/a?inv&t=o395o6k38rhi
Just a heads up..hope im not violating any rules here..
Reserved...
Currently, this app is only in initial testing stages so it is invite only (per my link) and for each person you invite, you get a free 5 dollars. It is an easy way to make money as I have already made 20 bucks in 2 hours! Try and comment!
Tried it mate but it is not currently available here (UK), So you may have to post the apk please

Sorry, I don't think this service works in the UK, so posting an APK wouldn't be worth anything..probably have to wait..

Yeah it's not worth it mate, I managed to get the apk myself but then it required an American number just to warn anyone else in the UK reading this

Yea, that's unfortunate. I think they said they are working on a UK release, so you might have to wait. But still thanks!

To be fair, it says nowhere in the app or signup process that it is US only (for US residents), so he would have no idea about this.
Also, here are five new invites for US residents: https://www.clover.com/a?inv&t=4znhc7xmpxbf
I just got $5 that I can use to pay friends using the new Clover app (on iPhone and Android). Scan your private invite to get in (with RedLaser, Barcode Scanner, etc.), or open the invite link. You'll get $5 when you accept my invite and we'll be able to pay each other.

Hey everyone,
I got some invites as well if anyone is interested!
https://www.clover.com/a?inv&t=81sevx3pawah
I've had 2 of my invites sign up. However, I still only have the original $5 I received for signing up myself. I even upgraded to gold. Don't get me wrong. I like this app. It will allow me to help out friends, family, or purchase things in general. I also appreciate the free $5.
But it would be nice to receive something that you were promised. I emailed support, but have yet to receive an answer.
Anyone have any ideas. I'm still going to keep this and use it. Just would like some sort of an answer. Thank you.
better put some water on that ****!

From the sound of it it seems like an app that lets you download paid apps for free?
MOD EDIT: No need to discuss this stuff here
MOD EDIT: Links removed says that there are problems. My 2cents...developers arepaid very little for what they do and deserve to get compensated for your use. The arguent for piracy in music and movies is that the person who did the creative work gets very little profit from a sale, in this case 70% goes to the Dev and 30 percent to google. Some devs have said that they won't develop on android due to piracy(which has to be an overstatement of the problem)but if you want to keep the app community humming and the dev happy, buy stuff legit.
This is warez, piracy related and is not accepted on xda at all, didn't anybody read the rules?

Closed, warez or the discussion of apps dedicated to warez are unwelcome on XDA.
Hi folks,
Didn't know what else to name this post, however hears my predicament... :
There is an app (available on play store) however I need the paid for version.. And since I'm on the tiny island of Barbados, (and despite my numerous emails to Google), Google does not support "paid for apps", I can even view them on the play store on my phone.
I can usually find the .apk file of any app on the www, however I'm unable to with this one..
So this is a general question : Is it possible (If so how) to get paid for apps off the play store without paying for them, or somehow crack the paid for app... Bearing in mind I've tried finding the download apk online..
Thanks for any support, btw the app I'm interested in is ASE Rally Monitor Pro.

Warez aren't allowed on XDA.
However, try an alternative market, like AppBrain.
Or check 4shared

Maybe you could use an US proxy. That might help.
Using this method, users have been able use Google Play vouchers in other countries than the US, too.
Thanks for your replies guys. I actually contacted the developer personally and he was nice enough to send me a copy of the app!
I have another question tho... Is it possible to edit an app that you've downloaded (I have never written apps, my programming exp is more computer based - c++ ect.) I want to add one simple function to the app, and the developer says he's not updating anytime soon..
If anyone is interested in helping I'd really appreciate it, and let me know so I can provide more info..
Thanks,
Conor

This is technically against xda rules on warez: Do not post warez: If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, then pay for it. We do not accept warez nor do we permit any member to promote or describe ways in which Warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained. This is a site of developers, i.e. the sort of people who create such software. When you cheat a software developer, you cheat us as a community.
Since you got the app from the original developer it is OK and the thread can stay open, but please be careful not to cross the line.
Thanks!

Okay, understood.
It's a shame, because if Google were to offer paid for apps where I'm from, I'd have no problem paying for it. Maybe it's Google who's cheating the developers!

I just read up on it, and it seems like removing the app is just going to get it talked about more.
There are plenty of people who have the .apk, as well as people who have modified it, and patched it, etc. If there is a way he is collecting revenue off it this would have been a very successful marketing move. However, the app wasn't a paid app, and even though people may be searching "flappy bird" more, I'm kind of curious how he's actually making money off it since the top Google searches are not likely his own website/ad revenue.

He makes money probably because of the ads in the app like most free games are run by some kind of one click advertising that's why some apps charge to remove it

Petition link is at the bottom of this post.
There was some discussion by Russ77 about starting a petition over in the bounty thread, so I went ahead and made one.
You may think this is a long shot or even a foolish attempt, but the bottom line is it could work. The likeliness of this working goes up with every signature. If you are reading this- SIGN! If this really picks up we may be able to change Verizon's policy all together! It takes maybe 3 seconds to sign so lets get this thing moving!
How Can You Help?
1. Sign the petition
2. Get Social- tweet it, facebook it, anything to spread awareness
3. Share this on other forums and websites
Remember, signing this is great but signing and sharing is even better.
Current Goal: 5,000
Verizon Wireless Petition Link:
https://www.change.org/petitions/ve...-users-unlocked-bootloader-upon-request#share
AT&T Petition Link:
http://www.change.org/petitions/ran...axy-s5-users-unlocked-bootloader-upon-request
Acceptable Posts
- Discussion of how to promote petition, spread the word
- Discussion of how to improve the petition
- Letting us know you Signed&Shared
Do Not
- post negatively... "won't work" "they don't care" etc.
- respond to trolls

Now is this 100 signatures a maximum for this site? Or is this just what you set it to? No offense, but Samsung and Verizon are gonna scoff and laugh off only 100 signatures VS millions of users who use their devices/network.

An unlocked bootloader would allow us to compile and install AOSP based ROMs. These could be "rooted" by default like cyanogenmod or aokp.
