Evo Lte is the One X
The evo lte is different, its not quad core and has a bigger battery, a sd card slot, and a kickstand. And its also cdma, i think the one x is gsm.

Well the inspire is hsdpa+ not lte. So its more like 3.5 g. When lte phones come out you will need a 4g sim card.

No a 4g card is a marketing bullish*t way of making a quick buck. Your standard sim will work for 4g once backhaul takes place

He said for LTE phones, LTE phones will use a new sim card... How is a 4g sim card a marketing ploy to make a quick buck when they are free......
Are these pretty similar phones?

The Evo 4g lte? If so yes, only diff is larger batt by 200 mah, a micro ad, and a kickstand, oh, and a dedicated camera button.

It will be interesting to see if we can use kernels from this phone on ours but I think the different bands for LTE will be a sticking point.
That would only be the radio, which is different than the kernel, kernels "should" work. We will have to wait and see what the devs think. But it is the same all around besides the radios, and the changes listed above.

Hmmmm. The only reason I ask is they have the start of cm9. So would it be an easy port??
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
There is a post in developement, one of the guys gets to the cm9 boot logo, but no farther, but that's a great start.
I can't find the thread now, I was going to link it.

Also, the answer is no, which you could have found by searching on "NFL mobile".

There was a cracked version last year, but Verizon raised the security and it doesn't work.
Idiot.

Why are you bumping this? The question has been answered. Verizon has it locked down, and the devs have given up trying.

On the former, yes. As to the latter, that comes out a bit wrong. The devs would port the app, and Verizon would patch it. This started out taking a week, then it was cut down to a few days, and then it was almost daily. It became too much work to try to keep up with them. In a sense, I guess they did "give up", but they sure worked their butts off well before that point.

I chose to post the Cliff's Notes version.
Yea, I was the one who spearheaded the thread for the nfl mobile crack a few years back but unfortunately there's no working solution now unless you're on Verizon.

The Rezound is the successor to the Thunderbolt, if that's what you're asking.
The evo 3d I think is closer to the bolt

Actually the Incredible 2 is the closest to the tbolt... Rezound and EVO 3D both have higher resolution screens... Rezound and tbolt are similar with radios but that's it

I had a dinc2 before I got this and all the hardware is the same except the antennas. They perform almost identically except the thunderbolt feels just a little snappier to me.

No, the Inspire isn't dual core.
Basically its AT&T's mock version of the Thunderbolt.
They even look the same.
It's very similar to the Desire HD, but I think the Inspire is more similar to the Thunderbolt.
The Inspire just doesn't have a front facing camera.

I don't know. The last time this discussion came up the consensus was the desire HD was the same. Just did some Googling and the thunderbolt has a better chip set than both of those phones. The others are 8255 Snapdragons and the thunderbolt is 8655. Could he a mistake on the website though.

I think this post hit it dead on. The Thunderbolt is a variant of the Desire HD with slightly better specs.
After playing with the inc2 for awhile, I felt it was the same as the Thunderbolt.

The Inspire and Thunderbolt both have more internal memory than the Desire HD.
I just think its more similar to the Thunderbolt.
In comparisons, the Thunderbolt and Inspire both come out over the Desire HD.
I could be wrong about it though.
I'm no developer. Lol.
Looking at the specs between the Desire HD and Inspire is definitely interesting.

They probably did it for marketing reasons. Hype up the newer phone to make people upgrade without them knowing its very close to what they already have. All about the money these days. HTC has a history of releasing 10+ phones at the same time and some if not all are pretty much the same phone. They just have different names, slightly different bodies, etc.
Granted these three phones were not released at the same time but pretty close.

That is true. The phones they make for multiple carriers tend to be that way. Its like they dont want consumers knowing their phone is the same as one for a different carrier. Samsung is smart enough to keep the same phone and make it work on all the carriers.

8655 isnt necesarily a *better* chip than the 8255 its just one w/ cdma (evdo) capability
Is this possible on the Inspire? It has been implemented on the Desire.
I wasn't aware this had been achieved for the dhd as I have not seen any info on this. If it works for dhd though then it should also work for the inspire. Could you provide a link to the info on who got it working? Or on what Rom. I am curious as this has been an ongoing effort by many and no one that I'm aware of has achieved it.

I thought it was a clear no. You mistook sensation development for DHD. Its not currently possible and with the device age, devs have moved on. I wouldn't expect it to be done ever.
