I was thinking to purchase an HTC HD2.
I know that it is capable of running Android and WP7 (dats the reason i m buying it) .
I wanted to know...
1). Is Android fully functional including calling?
2). Is Camera working (in android port) ? If yes which version ?
3). Are HD games running (in android port) ?
4). Is the android port stable for daily usage ? If yes, which version ?
5). Is Wp7 port fully working ?
6). Are the Windows Live services and XBox Live working ?
7). Is it able to be unlocked for sideloading apps ?
8). Is camera working (in wp7 port)?
9). Is it able to dual boot WP7 and Android ?
Pls somebody clear my doubts.
hi mate, i am using the hd2 running android 2.3.7 i havent tried the windows7 rom but let me tell you that the android runs just fine. all u have to do is expirement wid a few roms until u find one that runs smoothly on your device. btw, all of em run just fine. the camera works, calling is there, all games working(some games lag abit). and thnks to the developers, its stable for evryday use . It exactly like an android fone. Hope it helps. if it does, give me a thnks

hi friends actually i have hd2 for the past 6 months..but still i didnt know how to install android in this t mobile hd2...i am a die hard fan of android...but wanted to make sure what r the requirements for installin the android rom..i mean the radio version required,the windows version,hspl etc etc..
PS - and also please guide me ,which android rom is best in battery,graphics,applications etc

maybe devs are still working on it..i think wp7 os is awsome but i still want to see an hd7 running android os like hd2 right we can only flash custom roms made by cookers out here
as of right now, no, you can't flash android on the hd7 from what I remember...only the hd2.
I have since a few days android 2.2 on my HTC HD2. Since yesterday works my camecorder not right. When I want to make a video is evereything normal. BUT when I want to stop it, everything disappears. I can't do anything only going back to home with the home button. And when I go back to my camcorder there is only a black screen. I can't make videos or photo's than.
I've searching long and I think I must update my ROM..is that correct??? But I don't know where I can find it...
How can I fixe this?? please help..

it is probably due to camcorder not working in most android roms (apart from much earlier ones).
Not much you can do about it, but check out the rom thread.
OKaay...but how I know which ROM I need?? And where can I find it??
In the HD2 forum under Android you can find much rom's. Take a look at the nand rom from Dorimanx or the Typhoon rom from tytween. There are also instructions how to install that rom.

All right thanks both . but... I have android 2.2, doesn't matter if I take the one of typhoon or Dorimanx?? because it says that's android version 2.3.3. and android version 2.3.5
No that doesn't matter. You can install any android nand rom that is made for the hd2 on your HTC HD2.
But when you install another rom, make a back-up from your data. Because you're gonna lose it if you switch to a different rom.
I have the rom from Dorimanx on my phone and that works great.
But you can decide for yourself which rom you want.

Id love to boot nativli android to the phone, WM is dead and i dont want to change the phone its runing grate just the OS suxx booting Android from WM is woking but replaicing the WM rom whit Android ROM wold be grat

i think , dual boot needs special hardware support which Nexus S doesn't have it , as far as i know , dual boot, only MI-ONE is capable of
Sorry, it has never been made before, and I don't think it is in the works for now...
However, it should be possible, but the benefits aren't that great. You could just backup both of you roms and switch between the two.
It s not possible but you can run Ubuntu ON your Android. Theres a xda-thread
