Hello, my samsung I9001 wont power up anymore after installing CyanogenMod 9.
When installing gapps it doent start up anymore.
Please help!

re-flash your phone with another firmware. that should work.
If your phone can't boot into Recovery or Download mode, then it should be bricked. In that case try broodPlank's guide to unbrick i9001 on his site broodpank.net
If it goes into recovery, restore a CWM backup. Or go to download mode and flash another ROM using ODIN.

Damn SAMSUNG Cable!!!
I spent 2 hours triyng to re flash a STOCK ROM using SAMSUNG original cable and always remained stuck at "amss.mbn download..". I read all your posts, downloaded the "WORKED2.rar" file but still no luck... I decided to change from SAMSUNG original cable to a third party unbranded one and VOILÁ flashed ROM in just "5:04".....
Damn SAMSUNG Cable!!!
by me works it only with the original samsung cable.

i was on GB 2.3.5 (baseband version I9003XXKPM). I had wanted to flash the phone back to froyo 2.2.1 (baseband version I9003XXKB3) as the front camera in Fring was not working and was working well on froyo.
so i was following the flashing procedure on this page

i followed the steps exactly to this point
1. Download and run odin.
2. Check Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.
3. Click PIT button and select this file: latona_20110114.pit
4. Put your phone into download mode: Press Volume down + OK + Power.
5. Connect USB cable and the program will detect the phone's Com number.
6. Click Start button to download the PIT file to phone.
then the phone shut down and hasn't started up since then. It cant get detected by the computer (both by kies and odin). I cant get into either download mode or recovery mode.
I guess its bricked. Please help me make it alright again..im really stressed out! Thanks!

I have the same problem with my father's sl i9003, i flashed cwm using odin 2 times and 2 times also failed. it just stuck at boot img and cant boot into download mode or recovery mode
cause i got flash odin with my galaxy w and no problem, so do i need to follow this to try again once? cause i scared of flashing galaxy sl or it will sure will be fixed?

this is how I got the phone to recovery mode. the trick is to keep pressing the small button above the battery with a pi. while performing the 3button press for entering download mode. thanks a lot!

i have samsung galaxy s duos gt-s7562. it still not rooted. unfortunately accidently its battery was pulled out wile it official updating since then it in a bootloop i tried to slove it by odin 3.07 and S7562XXBMJ1_S7562ODDBMJ1_S7562DDBMJ1_HOME.tar.md5 but still its not working .please help me out i cant understand what to do...

First Of All Check It Out That Your Phone Is Actually Dead Or Not By Connecting Your Phone In Charging, Wait For Few Seconds If Screen Is Not Showing That Charging Then........... Its Dead And There Is No Way To Restart The Phone.
Go To Nearest Samsung Service Centre.....!!

install cwm den wipe data cache... also wipe dalvik cache...n den start ur phone... it will boot up... first boot will take upto 5 mins to start...

Today same thing happened to my friend's mobile , it want rooted nd he flashed cwm of 5830 nd not 5830i..
I m confuse Abt this two models
it was rooted before i tried flashing the rom. now it wont even allow me to flash anything. just a samsung galaxy ace screen. i have the official gingerbread that requires odin but since i cant get in download mode i cant use it. i also have jellyblast but since i cant get in recovery mode its also useless...is there a way guys to get in either download or recovery in this case?

And did u took the battery out and tried?
are you sure that the rom is for the 5830i and not for 5830? i have that same phone and the same happened to me.

well i need help i bought a samsung galaxy note 2 it had jellybean 4.1.2 i upgraded to 4.4.2 via kies than i rooted the phone i installed cwm 6.0.4 and flashed the cm12.1 rom and gapps for a month or so it worked properly but after a month my device started to heat and after that just yesterday started to have random reboots and now its stuck on logo samsung galaxy note 2 7105 but the thing is i can get into download mode even i cwm but i tried reflashing the same rom it didnt work so kindly im stuck i dont know what to do any help would be appriciated.
And if this is posted in the wrong section im sorry i didnt knew where to post it am new to this modding and flashing.

i can enter download mode with volume downn power and home button combination but what to do next a step by step help would be great anyways id be appriciated even if idid get back to stock or any version its cool

model: SM-J700T on version 6.0.1
I turned developer on and usb debugging but it shows passed on Odin and just reboots my phone so I tried going in recovery and it showed stock recovery. any help please? I'm new to android modifications I switched from iPhone ??
In the ‘Developer Option’ did you enable the ‘OEM Unlocking’ option?

You didn't install adb. That's why. First install adb on your pc and also j7 driver.

I installed twrp and everything worked. How would I root my phone now. I dont have a sd card but I have the file on my phone in the downloads
