[Q] Pls hept me i break my samsung galaxy sl i9003

i wanted to flash for the first time my samsung galaxy sl i9003 and now my screen is blank. i have 2.3.6 xxkpq. it doest conect to the usb...it's just blank(the screen)...pls help(...i'm verry new at this things(((

you "wanted to flash and now it's blank". that means it's blank before you tried anything which means you need to take it to the service center.
on the other hand, if you mean you tried and now it's blank, why not give us more details? what fw did you try flashing, did you lose power during flashing, etc?

if you are using ODIN try this first..:
open odin on PC
>remove battery on phone
>connect usb to PC to Phone without the battery
>then put battery back
>when the light turns on immedietly press the 3button DOWNLOAD COMBO
(VOLUME DOWN+HOMEKEY+POWER BUTTON)
>If you done it right you would end up on DOWNLOAD MODE
>then learn whats next to do in flashing FIRMWARE...
*IF THE PHONE IS STILL TURNING THE POWER ON IT DOESNT MEAN ITS TOTALLY BRICK...JUST TRY THE METHOD AND MAYBE YOU WILL BE HAPPY AGAIN*

so you've tested it yourself and confirmed the s2 kernel, recovery files, and bootloader in the thread works on our sL? if not, don't make things worse than they already are

Man I said to use method not to use S2 kernel or bootloaader from S2 use the kernel from i9003;sorry for my bad english
Its common sense to use kernel and bootloader from i9003

Listen i have a solution for you
1. Remove battery sim card and sd card.
2. Download xxkpq rom from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1004647
3. Press vol. down + Home + power and while doing this insert your battery (you may need to people)
4. If the screen lights up u may see the download mode with android shovelling and below downloading do not turn off the target.
5. Select xxkpq rom as the pda source in odin
6. Connect your phone to your computer and see whether the ID COM section turns yellow. If it doesnt you do not have the drivers. Just install kies for the drivers
7. Hit start as soon as the id com section turns yellow
Or
Repeat the steps till step 2
Then while doing the download mode combination plug your usb in and see whether you get a phone pc screen if you do then the id com section will turn yellow and click start.
If none of them work take it to the service center but dont tell them u were up to flashing!

i think its the only last hope for u.. othwse it is bettr to visit samsung centr instead of furthr damaging ur fone..

Do a clean flash...connect to odin, flash latona.pit, then XXKPE , then DDLF2....

i flashed the cm10 alpha 4,but unfortunately i decided to change it to Polj1 official firmware.and theres a problem on partition ,wnat should i do?
where can i get latona.pit?is it also on the firmware zipfile?

Just download odin 1.85 it has latona pit file inside.

Soft bricked I9003
Hi,
I have cynogenmod 10 on my galaxy I9003. Then i decided to go back to original firmware. Hence I flashed my phone with DDLF2_CFROOT-05-07-2012.tar .
After this i cleared cache. Now my phone is stuck in bootloop.
After that through reset button on back side of the phone, somehow i have managed to enter in Download mode and tried to change CFROOT but it is showing failed error.
tried re partition through latona_20110114.pit but now nothing is happening.
Now when i m trying to load firmware getting only <OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 0)
error.
Kindly help me !!!!

Do I need to update phone bootloader and clear EFS. IF yes how ??

Hey mate, don't select 'update bootloader' and 'clear phone efs ' option in odin while flashing. 'Clear phone efs' will delete your phone's imei IMO.
Do clean flash. Flash XXKPE with re-partitioning and than any stock rom of your choice.
Use this guide to flash XXKPE firmware. Never flash ddlf2 rom directly coming from CM10 or any other based on CM10 rom having MTD partiotning system.

I9001 wont power up

Hello, my samsung I9001 wont power up anymore after installing CyanogenMod 9.
When installing gapps it doent start up anymore.
Please help!

re-flash your phone with another firmware. that should work.

If your phone can't boot into Recovery or Download mode, then it should be bricked. In that case try broodPlank's guide to unbrick i9001 on his site broodpank.net
If it goes into recovery, restore a CWM backup. Or go to download mode and flash another ROM using ODIN.

Damn SAMSUNG Cable!!!
I spent 2 hours triyng to re flash a STOCK ROM using SAMSUNG original cable and always remained stuck at "amss.mbn download..". I read all your posts, downloaded the "WORKED2.rar" file but still no luck... I decided to change from SAMSUNG original cable to a third party unbranded one and VOILÁ flashed ROM in just "5:04".....
Damn SAMSUNG Cable!!!

i tried all options and seemed like the secret codes u write in android phone that let u test ur device as u see from factory mode menu

i think about Samsung Edit Download mode and made a CWM for made update and apply Roms from SD cards .... anybody have any idea about this issue!!!!
i want root my device and put a lighter version from Rom becoz current Rom froze and stopped working sometimes

also one last issue .... i download KIES from samsung website and the program cant detect my device but it can detect other devices got Download mode!!!!

I've tested a lot of ROM but sp flash tool error:
i need a rom and Especially a PreLoader for Galaxy s duos mt6572

as u see not yet , but the main problem the phone come with it's own recovery and no chance to get into download mode .... for root and upgrade device , i am not very professional in android staff but my phone is orginally from Samsung company , maybe another version but the brand is samsung , i find an solution but i dont want test it on my device till an developer tells me if will work or not as u see the 2nd post i do is an tool for root the Recovery 3e , so i wont try it till someone tell me if gonna work or not ..... maybe if i getting pissed off i will f***in mess with my phone and throw it to hell :\

go to download mode and apply factory reset and format internal emmc .... i think it should work ( Vol down + power +home screen button)

hello guys
now i am free to focus on try solve this problem in Samsung's smartphones that u not able to go to download mode for root ur device , anyway i was about if we do Jtag to my device that will force it go to download mode but there is another way that go to download mode via adb , i tried it now but it just doing restart with this command "adb reboot download" but when i tried go to recovery with "adb reboot recovery" it going to the recovery version as above
so anyone have any other ideas besides what i say also anyway can mention any developer can help us for better understand??!!!
i will try later Jtag method ..... and i will keep on try find another solutions

when i try go to download mode it's show me the recovery mode , i choose update from adb , then i apply this command "sideload XXX.zip"
it loaded till 68% and then stopped

Have you tried a regular adb push to the sdcard and then an update from the sdcard?

the problem is the signature of the ZIP file , how to paybass android system recovery 3e signature??!!!
that's the problem , and i have good news ..... i have root my phone now and i can access to the device system files ..... but i need to change the recovery system to cwm or any other one and re-flash the latest stock rom or better custom one ....
for being how i root my phone .... there is a program named "iRoot" i download it and connect my phone to it then apply root and it seemed like cant verified if rooted or not but i tried file explorer and i can access to system files finally
i am working on change the current recovery ( still working and figure out how) and then i will apply to update the latest stock rom , all i need get the right cwm for my phone and change it from recovery file ..... or i can pay bass verification signature file via this , i want u have a look

and it will take to u the recovery mode .... go to recovery mode and then do hard reset or reset factory it will works with u

final update:
i had tried CWM for the phone and flashy it by flashiry.apk and then i reboot the device i cant able get into recovery mode anymore .... just normal phone ... and i can contact with adb ..... but i cant get into download mode or recovery mode even via adb command

1 ..... during its software update it failed to update and some times it showed android robot with red exclamation marks what I did I put my battery out of set and put it back again after some time it worked fine although it showed me android version is 4.2.2
2..... one day I kept its battery off and then I charged it after it stucks on Samsung logo for a unlimited time I went to shop to show its error the shopkeeper said its firmware is no more working I thought why not I to do its firmware after that from sammomobile I download its firmware

About rooting this phone you can always used FRAMAROOT apk on this devices. or IROOT or KINGOROOT desktop software., This phone is a Samsung GT-S7582 Clone / Fake. or simply a China Device and not a Original GT-S7582

i tried do backup by MTKDroid and i cant copy any thing .... always told me "failed to copy" but i got scatter file , i will attach it maybe it will help
try to do CWM , i need to flash it .... and there is one more thing , i cant flash/move/copy/del anything from phone although is rooted .... i dont know why??!!!

Use the scatter file to make a backup ROM using SP-Flash Tool, Please look at the link I gave you for creating backup / Readback using SP-FlashTool, then GO back to MTKDroidTool to reimage the ROM created by the SP-Flashtool,

i have good news for all the owners of this phone very soon
finally i installed CWM on my phone but still more time find some ways to root it correct and install custom rom safely ... thx to @markevanvic

guys , now i can root my device and have backup of my rom and i think it wont be break again ..... if anyone got device and got break pm me , i will help him to revive his phone and root his phone too .... as soon as i made a custom rom for my phone and test it i will made a full method to how root/revive ur phone from this kind ( dont have download mode)

I have tried to update my samsung S6 G920F model , ll looked ok , after odin rebooted my phone, and since then it is stuck on samsung logo
i can access to download mode , if i soft reset the phone (volume down+power)
tried to re-flesh again with no luck!!
I try Volum Up + Power + home button and none recovery menu
Pls help me

Download the lastest firmware for your phone on Samobile and flash it with odin in download mode (in "AP") .
Check the md5 to exclude a bad download.
That the only way to fix your situation.

Try to flash the old firmware with odin that was with your s6 before....

You could not manage to flash tje firmware via ODIN? Any errors (cause you posted none)?

I have the Samsung galaxy S duos (7582) and I believe that my phone has soft bricked.
1. At first the phone will switch on only while connected to charger. Even if its switched on it will just show the start page with Samsung logo and phone model only.
2. I have replaced the battery and tried but it shows the same result. Doesn’t charged up but can switch on the phone (only to hert screen with Samsung logo and phone model) with connecting to charger e or PC.
3. The mobile phone is not detected by the PC, but the same has detected by odin. I have passed in odin but unable to access the recovery mode by pressing volume up+home+power buttons.
4. Finally I tried to flash stock rom with Odin and it shows Fail.
Appreciate your help.

am really sorry that i have mentioned the phone model as 7562 instaed of 7582. kindly provide the link for 7582 as well let me try to do it. also today when i connected my phone to charger it shows the message that " firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again"

Well you were saved. always make sure about the device model before flashing. anyways it's the wrong thread here. its not a big issue and don't need very complex method. just download the stock firmware you want from sammobile and flash it through odin.
