Just downloaded the latest update from adobe and it brings back flash to our browser!
SKY-ICS
Thanks; this is something that I noticed in the Embryo ucld2 rom as well.
I used TiBU to remove the built in flash player and then install the new version from the google play store.

okay, i dont know if this has to do with sky raider, so please correct me if im wrong...im new to rooting and all that
but anyway, i tried to install the update and it told me the package was not signed correctly
SkyRaider 3.5 has a custom modified version of Flash 10.1 so that the included Hulu app works properly. It's the same as the market version.
HOWEVER, if you're really hell-bent on installing the version from the market. You must first uninstall Flash 10.1, then download and install the market "update"
Thanks, I was just wondering...like I said I'm new to all this stuff
Is there a way to remove the update notification? When I go into the market and look under my apps it shows an update available for flash. I dont want to do the update.
I have updated my phone to the latest FP5 and I am running the Tweaked 2.2 ROM. Everything is running OK. However, now my phone no longer has Swype. I have the Swype.apk file. I have tried installing it by clicking on the .apk and it appears to install. However, when I try to run it force closes.
I tried to install it in CWM but it gives me an error.
How can I install Swype?
Thanks

What file did you try to install in CWM?
Download the official beta
I don't know what version or .apk file you are attempting to install/flash but go here: http://beta.swype.com/android/create/ and sign up for the official beta. They'll email you a link where you can download the newest version, do it right through your phone if you want. I'm using it on tweaked 2.2 over FP5 and it works.
I am on CM10 with standard gapps. Can I flash an inverted gapps over the standard gapps without wiping? Will I still be able to update gapps through the play store or do I have to wait for someone to upload updated inverted gapps?
Yes you can wipe standard gapps without wiping. I flashed Contacts and MMS from here: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/29460-in...-10-13-gmail42-play-store-google-youtube4123/
When you update gapps, it will probably overwrite the inverted gapps, so you would have to flash the inverted again. There aren't many official gapp updates anyways. Anytime there is a CM10 update, you need to reflash. Also obviously, if in the play store has an update, and you update - when your reflash, it will be exactly the same as the previous inverted mms you have or whatever inverted app, and won't have any of the updates/bug fixes that the play store version had.
An example is there is a new gmail coming out soon. If you update from the play store, you will get the new gmail, with the stock look. When you reflash inverted gapps, you will get the same inverted gmail you had before and not have the new features of gmail like pinch zoom and swipe to archive until the person who created the inverted gapps updates it.
Also just curious, what gapps are you going to flash?
Flashed with these:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797292
So far so good
it includes the new play store and gmail 4.2.
I should have read more closely and seen that it had some junk with it miui music player for example. Nothing esfile explorer can't remove though.
It also removes some market restrictions at the expense of automatic updates but I'm not too worried about that since I usually end up updating manually before google slowly pushes out the update.
I already cleared the old apps from my app list, best addition to 3.9.16 market.
I take that back ran into a few problems with apps crashing. Maybe not such a good idea.
Flash Player On Your Android Gingerbread, ICS or Jelly Bean (Updated)
After Adobe remove the application and official support for Flash Player on Android aplicacioes store, Google Play Store, many users want to continue using Flash on your Android smartphone or tablet.
As most know, Jelly Bean Android does not natively support Flash Player, but thanks to you can install applications from the microSD card or internal memory of your Android, you can now return to have Flash Player on your Android and best of all is that no matter if you have installed Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Android 4.0 or Android ICS 4.1.2, 4.2.2, 4.3 Jelly Bean, especially if you had to reinstall a firmware and this does not have Flash installed or you have Flash natively but not the latest version, etc..
Although no longer has official support from Adobe, you can always manually install the apk of the latest version.
Remember that Flash Player is not compatible with mobile devices that have the V6 ARM processor and stock Android browser or Google Chrome.
instructions:
To install Flash Player on your Android, you must enable installation from external media on your Android, then copy the APK Flash Player on SD card or internal memory of your device, find the apk with a file browser and run the APK.
To use Flash Player on your Android, you must have a browser like Opera, Firefox, Dolphin Browser and Puffin (You need to enable Flash support from each browser settings).

I'm sorry but not work on mydata.tracks N7 with android 4.3 and dolphin

I managed to have flash with my 4.4.2
Adobe flash is compatible with Firefox
Just have to install Firefox (a open a website that requires flash so you get an error)
Install the latest flash apk (not available though play store)
Test again and now flash should load
This is OK for most cases, but since adobe and Google aren't partners anymore,
If you need the latest version try puffin browser ( not free but offer a daily demo , like 5 hours,no ads)
The flash is processed on their servers, but is very fast too
Also there is flashfox (but I hate this app, only try if both of them fails(not free, lot of ads)

ty for your answer.
I used to use flash player with Dolphin Browser, the flash player apk was modified, i can't post a link to the apk.
but now it doesn't work well, i have a billion ads opening everytime, and when i try to watch a flash video (streaming) on full screen it crashes and reboot the phone.
I'll try again on a stock ROM and if it doesn't work i'll try with firefox.
