Miui port.

Is it possible to get a port for miui to the sensation..? Because I love miui.

We have to wait for the public to get their bootloaders to be S-OFF. Once we have S-OFF (whether its through an update pushed by HTC/your US carrier, or an exploit such as Fre3dom through a developer on this website), we'll be able to develop and flash custom roms such as MIUI and CyanogenMod onto our Sensations.

Haha I can feel the sarcasm. Well hopefully we get s-off next month like htc said or from a dev here. I cone from the mytouch 4g miui and g2x stock so I'm done playing the waiting game on gb

came a cross this video on youtube right now. its alpharevx showing his device go from s-on to s-off. i was just reading on xda about his work on the desire getting s-off for that device looks promising since he has done this with other devices. idk if someone else has posted this or seen it. the song is soothing.? lol anyways heres the video....

hehehe he has his own youtube channel contact him threw there im asuming. he also has this website http://alpharev.nl/x/ with a coming soon sign. well hopefuly this is released before htc ( i highly doubt htc will release this before this dev).

sorry I accidentally put source, it seems to be just the SDK because I haent found source yet on aosp, maybe I didnt look hard enough. Im not a dev just trying to help the devs lol. But from my understanding even without source, some early hacked together SDK image running on our phone might be possible kinda like what the nook color and CDMA galaxy tabs had/have running when the honeycomb sdk was released, until source is actually released

hopefully HTC launches a new phone with ICS and next gen Sense shortly...

HTC is known to take quite a while to release their Sense UI with the most updated version of Android, so don't get your hopes up. Who knows... since they are now trying to keep a "dev friendly" status lately, they may hook us up with something a little earlier we can hope anyways.

It's definitely possible. You just have to make damn sure you have the major stuff, IE boot.img and framework smali trees edited/patched correctly for our phone. Otherwise, we allllllllllllll die.

I'm trying to port a ROM from EVO... I can finally get it to say successfull in twrp, but when I reboot it says no OS lol... I can't figure it out!

It is possible, but it is a lot harder. It's a lot easier to port roms such as from the EVO 4G LTE, One S, etc. This is mainly because the interior of the endeavoru is a lot different so it takes a lot of work to sort out modules, libs etc

LOL mmcblk0p33 is system (os) and mmcblk0p35 is data. Make sure its correct in your script.. I can take an endeavor ROM and change 3 lines and it'll flash and turn on.. but boot loop, so that might be your issue

i am pretty sure there are m10's it has the same style framework-htc-res.apk's and wat not
just gotta figure out the sdk level they used to compile

I've actually been working on this for quite some time, been caught up with a lot of things lately so haven't looked at it for about a week or so lol

[DEV][Bounty] Sense 4.3 Jellybean Kernel ( $25 out of $250 )

Well I figure to start a thread to see if we could have a kernel dev develop us a 4.3 sense kernel so this forum could experience some of HTC latest sense versions.The reason why is because as we all know the HTC One X probably wont be updated again and our only hope is for a talented dev to help us make a 4.3 or 4.4 kernel. depends on what they choose.. i want to raise at least $250 so the devs that creates it and make it happen feel like there work was well paid.

I think that's what he meant ... You need a 4.4.2 kernel to boot sense 6... And once you get sense 6 booting the rest of its easy fixing. Longs kernel is done correctly so you still need kernel in order for the Rom to boot..

exactly....and it's a slow long process that i'm working on atm

I build it from one max 4.4.2 HTC stock kernel and it boot with one mini 4.4.2 with sense 6 rom.It test for now and I will fix the bug in the few days.

Well I can help u guys to boot Sense 5.5 4.3 and one XL and make a rom LibertyXL, but I want to know how many people are interested.
