I have followed the instructions by putting the msd5 or w/e its called and the leeDroid file in the SD card, the device is rooted, its a DHD currently installed with CM7 mod on it but each time i try to install the new rom it just boots back up as CM7, im not sure what i'm doing wrong as i followed step by step ...
Also the whole process usually takes around 10 minutes from memory but this doesnt even take 30 seconds .. Can someone please help me to complete this process or even to revert it back to stock as the wifi gives a signal but wont connect properly ? Thanks

I rooted my phone and flashed this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1403859
it completed flashing it and I rebooted it but it keeps rebooting over and over and won't load the phone. Any suggestions as to what to do? I took the battery out and tried rebooting it again but went back into the cycle. The first time after I flashed it I let it run for about an hour and a half but its still stuck.
Help please!
In the requirements, you can see you have to install the new 3.12 base firmware.
To install the package correctly you need to supercid before.
If you don't want to supercid have a look here or in mike1986 instructions in his ICS firmware thread.
Thanks Grandelama
Yea I figured that's what I needed to do after reading it up some more.
Hey im new to rooting, and flashing/installing ROMs. So what happened was i rooted my infuse, installed clockworkmod, and then flashed miui. kinda. it bricked my phone. Luckily i unbricked it with GTG ultimate unbrick thanks to this site. Now my sim card isnt being read, and vibrates non stop. id say 5-10 times a min with screen off it doesnt matter. It was working fine with clockworkmod and everything before i bricked it. What do i do? I even tried the paper behind the sim trick. and no it not on airplane more.my phone doesnt even tell me my baseband, network, phone number any more.

go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1092021
and follow the instructions after downloading the correct zip file, i'd suggest the one with root and 3e modded recovery (so you can go back to flashing rom if you like), and it'll bring you back to stock plus root and with modded recovery, if you dont want to try flashing again then use the 100% stock download, and if you have any questions just let me know, i check this site nearly 24/7
Edit: i would also seggest that if the first time you attempt this it doesn't start up with the first use wizzard then go over and back up all you want to keep and set it to factorey default via settings and format the "usb storage" or internal sdcard, and then try it again
Hello, I made a live Ubuntu. Did everything as it was written. The process started and stopped at writing 'zip'.. and didn't move any further. I have a 16gb micro sd card inside. What could be the problem? Should I use the stock sd that came with the phone? I read about changing the flash mode by pressing t for toggle...
I unplugged and restarted the phone. Now it is ok. I have a question? What could happen to the phone if the process is interrupted.
Also, how long should the process normally take? Thank you very much.
during the flash rom, unplugged it, I think that will not boot up properly, I'm sure ..
the whole process takes about 3 to 5 minutes, in part because it depends on the sdcard speed, as well as the set of rom initialization.
I just started the Ace kit
I am not doing flashing of rom yet... just trying to to do one step process using the kit.
HTC Desire HD
I have Android 2.3.3
someone help
with Sense 2.1 and software number 2.50.110.5. Did someone rooted this phone successfully? Should I use the stock 8gb card instead of new 16 gb?
How can I back up my current rom in case something goes wrong?
I would like to know the same, if someone with soft 2.50 managed to root it without downgrading?
Hey Guys, i installed MIUI on Android version 2.3.7 and i tried to install Android Revolution HDand when i flashed PG58IMG.ZIP it said the model number is wrong on the bootloader screen and it won't let me get to recovery (4EXT) so I have to take the memory card out to get to recovery. Also i backed up my data, used SuperWipe, and flashed Android Revolution and restarted, my phone gets stuck on the HTC Quietly Brilliant Screen and won't boot. So then i took the memory card out an the battery out, and put it back in to get to recovery mode and i went back to MIUI.
What Should I do?
Thanks Guys
im not sure but it sounds like maybe you dont have your cid for the rom you want or not everything matches up i suggest you go to this link and make sure you have everything. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300
also you said 2.3.7? i say you should upgrade to ics, alot of roms are based in that now anyway in including MIUI. also for AHDR check out this thread on everything

Hi there, I have been trying for countless hours to make a custom ROM work on my P920 with no results, always some issues. I've managed to brick my phone in different ways a billion times now, then spent billion hours unbricking it and in the end I'm always back to where I started. I would really love some help please.
My phone is P920.
The android version I'm running is: 2.3.5
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7+
Software version: V21E
Rooting method: megatron
Now I would like a ROM that uses Android 4 and that can still use the 3D features such as 3D camera, the ROM calledthe Darkroom International would be an example I imagine.
While that's one of the ROMs that I would want, I've tried many, and always encountering issues, let me clarify.
First of all my device has to be rooted and since SuperOneClick doesn't work for me as it gets stuck on step 7, I use megatron which works well. I even double check if my phone is rooted with the Root Checker from the Android store. Now according to the guides I've read I need a custom recovery system, so I install Clockworkmod. I then place the ROM on the SD card, in the recovery menu I delete cache, that other cache, format it, format system, data, everything those guides tell me to. Afterwards, I install the ROM by selecting the zip and then I reboot. I've tried like 3 different ROMs, jellybem, cyanogenmod and some other. Yes I know none of them support 3D features - I didn't know at the time. Anyway, the issue was always the same, right after the LG logo there would be a screen with some weird colors showing the display of what happened before the phone crashed. Before it crashed? Yes, the phone would actually boot into the ROM but only for a few minutes, crashing afterwards. The next time I would boot, it would show that weird screen with those fancy colors with what happened just before it crashed. So I followed some steps and I got back to the original 2.3.5 ROM, everything back to normal.
I tried doing some more research and I came across the Darkroom Intentional ROM which had a bit different instructions. It asked me to install TWRP recovery with a bootloader, so I did, successfully, then did all the clean cache etc, installed ROM, bam, wouldn't boot at all. Oh boy have I had issues here, I couldn't even get it back to the default 2.3.5 stock ROM because my phone wasn't even recognized in the device manager. So I did some more research, found a solution, managed to flash back to 2.3.5 stock and I'm back to square one.
Now, could someone please help and explain to me what exactly have I done wrong and how I can make it right? I've spent countless hours now trying to install a custom ROM with no success. Sorry about the long read. If you need me to supply some more information please let me know. Thank you.
First of all if u want to use an ICS ROM then u need to update to ICS FIRST u can't flash it directly from 2.3.5 u can use xbsalls thread to update......
Next if cm based Roms are crashing then u need to flash bootloaders which means u should use os_hacking tool to flash ICS bootladers if u wanna update
Or flash GB bootloaders
So first update if u want
Root
Flash bootloaders
Flash recovery
Flash Roms
