I rooted my kindle fire using kindle fire utility and after the root the kindle shut off and wouldn't come on. The charging light won't even illuminate when plugged in. I tried the 50 second hard reset and nothing happened. Any ideas?

So Sunday night i fully charged my Xoom using the speaker dock, turned it off once it was full charged.
Just went to turn it on for the 1st time since Sunday night & all i get is a black screen.
My Xoom is on because i can see my LED light blinking & hear alerts coming through but screen will not come on at all.
It is rooted and running JB stock ROM. Worked perfect until now.
Any ideas anyone?
So I decided to hook my Xoom to my Tv with an HDMI cable and its definitely working. Everything shows on my Tv and I can use my Xoom with a connected mouse and keyboard.
Very Strange!

google SOD or screen of death. appears to be a pretty common problem. happens to me occasionally and you just have to reboot it.
if you hold it up to strong light you will actually see that the screen is on, just the backlight is not working. it sucks, but there's nothing you can do about it and there's probably nothing wrong with the xoom.
I have a kindle fire HD I spilled water on it and picked it up right away it was fine working I was still watching my show for 5 minutes until it just shut off the battery was really low also and when I plug it in it has the boot logo for about 5 seconds and then the screen goes blank until I unplug it and replug it in again any ideas? please help!
So I found a root for the Droid Razr Maxx HD XT926 that I've been looking for for a while and it worked. I had some rooted apps running on my phone and everything was great. Well that same night I dropped my phone and cracked the LCD so I couldn't do anything but I could hear the phone boot looping. It took like a ten foot drop onto a sharp object. I had a donor phone sent in that had an intact screen and replaced it and turned it on to a boot loop. It would get a little bit through the boot then freeze, shutdown, and start over. I've done the factory data wipe a few times but no joy. After like 100 reboots it finally pushed through but it no longer had the root. So I was using for about an hour and then I shut it off. When I start it back up, it is in the boot loop again. What do I do to get it out of this? Do I need to SBF or something? Is it just coincidence that my phone is in a bootloop after rooting and then dropping the phone violently or is it just the root messing with the phone?
I have KatKiss-5.0_TF300T_015 loaded on my tablet and have really liked it so far. However, I went to use it yesterday and the tablet was completely unresponsive. Trying to turn it on - does nothing. I also noticed that when plugged in, the keyboard charge light is green, but the tablet doesn't seem to have the charge light anymore. I've tried plugging in the charge cable directly into the tablet and still don't get anything.
Any help that I can get would be much appreciated!! I love this tablet - especially with the KatKiss rom...

Step 1 will be to boot your tablet into fastboot/recovery mode. Check if you see something on the screen. If you don't looks like a hardware issue. You could check with a computer if it detects the tablet indicating it's the screen that's fried, not something else, but you probably won't mind anymore in that case.
PS: getting the tablet to show up in fastboot/recovery mode in Windows is pain, so much better if you have a Linux machine handy.
What's the deal? I downloaded the rollback file on my computer. Put it on my kindle with USB. Performed update. Kindle updated to 3.2.8 just fine. Clicked finish install later. Turned off WiFi. My screen goes to sleep. Woke up kindle with the power button and swiped to unlock to see if it was still working. Kindle went back to sleep and now nothing responds, screen stays totally black. This is a brand new 2 day old kindle. I did this on my last kindle a week ago and the same thing happened. Is this some fake rollback? Its a 3rd gen 8.9 hdx with 4.5.3.
I find it hard to believe something is wrong on the kindle end being this is the second time happening.
Yes, I downloaded the correct file from another xda forum., before anyone asks.
