New MultiROM AcuraTeam V2 Final
Well after much, much, much work (you know me I do not do this) I modified Charger that I liked and I saw potential.
no longer remains almost nothing of the original, only the icons, the truth is that they are cute , and some of the extructura the program. As I said I did not dedicate myself to this, perhaps someone who can take less, but I came as far as I, and after passing a bad time to **** you in which state about to mourn (I've lost everything to work from within ZIP) I was able to retrieve something and start from scratch. Total a week of intense gigs! Many of you will wonder why this MultiROM (the name I have made him) because for the simple reason that my saves me a lot of work, and incidentally open the possibility that each Mount a rom to your liking. know that when we get a ROM is not to everyone's taste, for the simple reason that everyone likes something different. Perform a ROM for each of you seriously and it is practically impossible.
See only these two facts: A 4 keyboards + 7 + 12 types of launchers types of OC, I put just three examples. If anyone knows of mates, try out the numbers of possible combinations. Now imagine what you are asking me some Take the music of the boot, the curtain of the changes the Bootanimation, do not make programs, set programs, pay this and remove the other ... as you see cause frustration, it is IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone. Now sebeis NEED this charger . Because that is what makes this I've created, what ye LOAD visually and very simple, JUST AS YOU WANT PICA INSTALL.
No more I tell you the rest you play.
Now you can do.
The ROM included in the ZIP are complete but lack little things, little things you have to include the you. are improved versions:
Rom Ginger : Evolucion de la 21A+B Ahora llamada V8
Cambios:
Subido el Kernel Bestia Froyo a la version v2
Added all files ALSA for recording calls in dual channel.
Added the libraries of Beat Box, To enhance the sound a lot.
Added Sony Bravia Engine, I do not notice much improvement you let me know.
Added new library
Updated the APP
and much more
ADVANCE INFORMATION New Kernel Beast 2: Changes Acura2201
Added patch to prevent phantom calls.
Modified the clock speed in the reception signal (Improved bestiality breaks between signals and coverage) Invention of mine since I've been I have not had a call ghost.
Improved and polished the OC, OC lowered the idle to 150 mhz.
Modification of the libraries to minimum speed apgada screen (this forces the system to slow down to 150 as the screen turns off)
Improved the voltages . The values indicated here are not seen in any test or going to freak benckmach but when probeis. Overclock to 200mhz ram at 450 mhz, and forced the system to work at 450 mhz always without resenting consumption!! . No jumping from 200 to 400 as the original. Overclock the GPU to 394 MHz and low OC. Uploaded system speed of 128 MHz to 1000 MHz. You are going to freak out with this, but instead blocks the bluetooth from time to time. (Hopefully fix it soon) The multicharger Added new feature you can install all your applications at the beginning of the installation. I am testing a system to install directly on the recovery DATA also on the first installation, if you want to clear. (Under development) Added more programs and updated the above. Now there are more possibilities for all .. jejejejej

Is this the one released 19/03/12.
Is this for real? GHOSTCALLFREE?????!!!!
Sorry, I really want to believe, but my hope is already very low. Actually I have made up my mind to sell away this phone. Have waited too long for the ghostcalls fix
i'm downloading it.. 832mb? is it correct??
Yes correct, this is rom froyo and gingerbird.
this is not for inexperienced people you have to build the rom your self and there is no tool in there for you to use to build good luck.. lolz
means for self-cooking as I understand
it's not only that we dont have many devs for our phone-many different rom but it's that half of the limited roms are not usable by average users. i mean wtf.online kitchen roms and no build etc?

Please elaborate your statement again i did not understand. But if you are saying there is an online kitchen why don't you build one and post it for us...
And if your looking for someone to make both roms and post it for you then that is a diffrent question.. I won't touch it because it is not my work, i have built it and tested it his kernel doesn't go low to 150mhz wish it did if it did i would use it to save me some battery power..
I don't understand a single word in spanish, but the Kernel should be there:

i wrote english by thinking in greek.i mean we have a few roms if we compare other phones(lets say evo 3d) to choose for our phone.not so many devs also.lets try these few roms to make them usable.i dont know how to build or use an online kitchen.most users also dont.i wish i knew.and some guides i found here didnt help me at all when i tried.why post half-build roms?

I think if you read properly he made the rom and lost all data due to a computer crash so he recovered what he can. and because he can't make everyone happy he is letting the users choose their poison.. Anyway i will try and make the two froyo and gingerbread roms by acura team and post it up here after work..

Very scary translation!
Tried it yesterday.
Nice and clean roms but didnt have much time to play with them so i m back to my backed up Thiaiz 2.6.1.
The installer is not so dificult to understand.
I looked at the spanish forum also and i think that its better to avoid high overclocked kernels (over 1.2 because of overheating) but then again maybe i m wrong i dont know spanish.
Thanks for sharing it with us.
Sent from my LG P-920 using ghost call method...
SORRY VERY MUCH
really not ghostcallfree today 6 times
bought today a HTC ONE X soooo after such long wait no
GHOSTCALL
THX to ALL DEFS 4 their work go on guys
will look sometimes again here if ghostcalling gone
Im confused I thought that Multicharger V2 was released on 19/03/12 and this did not contain the "Ghostcalls Patch" see here
http://www.htcspain.com/roms-lg-optimus-3d-384/rom-multicargador-acurateam-full-52912/
Now Acura is about to release Multicharger V3 which does contain the "Ghostcalls Patch" but this has yet to be released see here
http://www.htcspain.com/roms-lg-optimus-3d-384/multicargador-v3-53189/
ghostcalling gone when you change phone.
Acurateam, is working on V3, this fellow has posted is the V2. According to said signal has improved and no longer have those slumps coverage. He has also made many improvements in the kernel.
We are all waiting for the V3.

This is what I thought V2 does not contain the patched kernel.

I need help choosing a ROM, this is my first time. Memory doesn't matter, I have SD card. Hoping for some extra programs, good wifi, and stable, I don't want it to freeze too often. Battery life doesn't matter as long as it lasts a FULL day. Let me what you think is best, so far I like the wizard titanium, but people tell me its too old. What do you think? ALSO, IT HAS TO BE WM6! THNAKS!!!

If I had to recommend a fast stable rom with some nice extras, I would have to say TNT.1437 is one of the best. It has plenty of nice little extras and is one of the most complete and stable rom's I have used. I have been using it for the last 4 months and only switched Roms to test new releases and then always to back to the 1437 build. I personally like the TouchFlo version.

Very true, the best ever Rom I have tried so far and specially the 10mb ppool
I spent a fair bit of time re-working TNT 1437 to suit my own needs and preferences. I have relatively easily moved from TNT 1437 to 1921 and recently to 1933; each time having to make some modifications to it's right Base ROM. However since he has kept the ROMs reasonably consistent between versions my time spent modifying has decreased somewhat.
My choice of ROMs would be it's right's 1933 Base and my own customisations. Most ROMs are likely to have something you don't like or don't want and I think it is now so easily to learn how to cook your own the best option is to build your own using one of the bases available. That way it will be the 'best ROM' for you.
For me, I will be sticking with it's right 1933 base for the time being as I have had very few issues with it, plus he has worked hard integrating the original 5.2.318 drivers into it, oh and it's (currently) the latest
My 2 cents..
Andy
I use XM6r3, it has given me no problems at all. I have tried many other roms and felt this was the best for my needs. Are there faster roms? I did like tnt, I tried a couple different builds (including touchflo which I don't care for) and after configuring and installing all my normal things, XM6r3 seemed to run faster. Available memory was almost =. I do like some of the bug fixes TNT has.
You think your question should be easy to answer, but really your asking what is the best car manufacturer, who has the best tasting beer. In time you will find one you like. I initially flashed my brains out with everything I could get my usb cable on, but now, I just want something that gets it done.

What kind of modifications did you make to the TNT.1437 Rom? I have been using it for some time and love it but for whatever reason I can't seem to get any of the many available kitchens to work on my computer whether it be on my Vista partition or my XP partition. Neither work.
Ok, I want to thank everyone for all your help. Also, charile_mx, if you didn't have any advice for me, you shoudn't have posted anything at all, there was no reason for you to post the stupid comment. So far I like the wm6 tnt touchflo edition, it looks nice, but im going to do more research on it first. how stable is it? Does it open apps quick, and can I open 2 or 3 apps at onve without it freezing?

The best thing that you can do for yourself is simply read up on everything involved with your wizard first. Is it unlocked? Is it G3 or G4? Does it have an IPL and SPL higher then 2.XX ? Please don't answer these questions to me. I am simply giving you some things to follow up on in your research, so that you can avoid ending up with a Brick.
Personally I have been using my own cooked Cross bred version, although I really like the look of It's Right 1933. I may have to cross breed something there.
Good Luck

Nothing too major. I modified a few .RGU files to remove some settings I don't like (Wireless on the Today screen is one I can think of), replaced the various TNT skin customisations with the default ones, replaced the Calc1 with the original Calculator, removed the themes and added my own, customised my own 'Office Mobile' folder, added battery status with my own settings, removed some unused applications and replaced them with some of my own. I replaced some of the included packages with the same ones I have that I have had continued sucess with - i.e. the various media related packages that all have reliance on certain codecs and system files that everyone seems to have issues with (Audio Manager, Voice Recorder, Streaming Media, Camera & MMS). I also included my Personal Stuff and locale settings in a custom .RGU file as well as changed the Autorun stuff to launch my own extended ROM. Oh and I have my own custom splash screens (which it took me a while to get installed and it really pi$$ed me off when I used to install a new ROM and these got overwritten..... )
Basically when I flash my ROM (or hard reset) there are minimal changes that I need to make and no software to manually install to get it back the way I like it (my VoIP settings, a Certificate and TT get installed from my extended ROM).
I am currently using the 'HyperCore' kitchen but have used others with similar results. Using the HyperCore you must follow the instructions since it is easy to miss a step and end up with a partially 'dead' Wizard.

Starting this thread was a bad idea. Sorry I didn't saw it yesterday
Reasons :
[*]This has been posted too many times before.
[*]The "Best ROM" for you is the one YOU like most. You'll have to try a few on your own to figure out which one works best for you.
[*]Everybody will give you different answers so you won't get much out of it.
[*]ROMs don't act the same on all devices. One ROM that works perfect on my device it might not work the same on yours or any other one here. You don't trust me ? Do a benchmark on your PDA..then ask someone else to do a benchmark on his PDA with same ROM and you'll see differences.
In case that didn't convinced you, here's a small list of similar threads :

Hi all - subject line says it all.
I have a shiny UK Vodafone Magic turning up tomorrow and, hoping to save a bit of time, wanted to canvas the guys on here regarding their opinions of the best ROM to use on it, before I start experimenting. Have browsed the boards and it seems that the main issue with Hero ROMs is performance on the smaller RAM size. I would like as decent a UI experience as possible, but would prefer not to make my new toy unusably slow in my hunt to get that "hey, wow, shiny" UI factor.
Main important features for me (in order of importance):
* as full featured a browser as is possible
* PDA-type stuff (i.e. calendar etc)
* email, particularly Exchange connectivity
and only then
* shininess of UI!
Would I be best waiting for Jerpelea's new release before playing? Or am I better off leaving well enough alone and staying with the stock ROM (and get my Exchange fix through third party software)
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or thoughts.

well mate for stability and performance you have the Ion R4 and European rom for Magic. they are based on google interface with few tweaks. Ion r4 has hero look over google base so its a no brainer why they work so well
the hero ports don't work so well for most but looks amazing my friend. i love the Hero V1.4 by fatal1ty as it looks amazing. for me however it has some major drawbacks main one being the lag. for me also after using for few days it seems to get worse and gradually grinds to a halt. the hero black is very similar to Hero 1.4 with a few apps missing. they woirk the same more or less. thats why jerp has started new build from scratch but that is a few days away yet so your choice in waiting........... the ion r4 and european roms are good to go and offer a bit more than standard voda rom.!
you choose..........thats my opinion!
I have the same phone as you.
I would not recommend this one "[Update 6-07]HTC Hero ROM for Magic by Fatal1ty"
It is very slow on our UK Vodafone magic's
Hero ROMs are slow because the original Hero rom was built for the HTC hero with 288mb RAM instead of your Vodafone Magic's 192mb.
SP france europe rom seems the best choise..
Got a UK Vodaphone model , Ion r4 works best.

i have a uk vodafone and 1.4 is NOT very slow on mine. it is slower than the standard rom, slower than ION r4 and slower than the european one
however
it is fine for me. it has a lot of very cool features - multi-touch, facebook, twitter and flikr integration with contacts and of course it looks fantastic.
having been on 1.4 from fatal1ty and currently on the ION rom i can say that i am moving back to 1.4 as it is so much cooler. i am going to get a class 6 sd card and see if this improves speed
Paul
The class 6 wont make a huge difference - I tried. However, depends on how willing you are to put up with lag.
Personally I'd recommend the Ion R4, OR get hold of the original ION rom (I got it from Android Bloggin Network - I'll post link later) and a Root for it, then I have a blazing fast ION stock rom, with Root, so you can customise as needed.
100% stable, and Damn fast.
I tried all the hero roms, but however good it looks is a bit cruddy when you hit 10+lag between apps etc.
My phone is usable, and does everything I need until Donut, which will bring many of the social network functions in a google supported form(google still target the G1 internally, so wont hit the ram restriction like the hero rom)

Many thanks for the above, everyone.
To the Ion R4 advocates - do you mean from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=523971
Also, is there a newb-proof guide to updating ROMS (I believe it needs to be rooted first?) and, perhaps more importantly, restoring your original ROM (ie. if you don't like the results)? Again, have punted around the forums and found a few guides but most of them seem to refer to other guides that I can't track down (i.e. they say something like "follow ABC's guide up to the reboot, then do XYZ", but have no idea where to find ABC or his/her guide).
nk02 Ion R4 or the SPF European ROM
PAUL
any chance of you tubing a vid of your fatality 1.4 in action mate i think alot of users are holding off rooting and hero build rom updating because so many complain of lag issues and freezing might be nice to see the speed in action

cool look foward to that if youve got time bud
I think Loccy has raised an interesting topic here. I am also a Vodafone UK HTC Magic user, willing to try some new ROMs with Hero's features, however what I really miss here is some sticky thread with complete step-by-step instructions of where and how to start with ROM flashing. I've been a heavy user of Windows Mobile devices some time ago, and also been playing with xda-dev any many different ROMs. But as far as I remember for each device-specific forum there was at least 2 or 3 sticky threads with complete n00b instructions. In this case it's a bit scattered all over the place and takes time to figure it all out and glue the pieces...
If I have time later I will try to create a guide - The information is there but absolutly agree it's hard to work out whats latest / correct info.
If not today then over next couple of days.
Hi newb alert here! Just to add a little to eva_d's point above (which would be great), as a newb n00b I'd find it really useful to know what the differences betwenn the different ROMs is.
I'm 99% I'm going to get a Magic on VF UK next month. The phone looks good and I like the idea of the open source OS so you can fiddle with what you get which is why I am here. I understand the OS on the VF UK magics is relatively lame. However, I am having trouble understanding what's the difference between fatal1ty's, nk02's and the smartphone euro one? I mean in terms of functionality. What difference does user see? Is it jthe UI? Functionality? Both? Are there any screenshots?
fatal1tys = nice but slow
nk02's = nice, fast, but what's the difference between the full and "lite" as a user? Compared to the stock ROM?
Euro = nice fast, but again, I'm not sure what I would be getting compared to what comes in the box? (btw French isn't a problem for me).
All the hero roms - currently having issues, good to play with but maybe not for everyday (unless jerpelas new rom out later is as good as hinted at...) Has multitouch browser and better music app
NK02 - good, based on the very fast Google ION rom - with a few extras
SFR - Good fast rom, french based but quick and stable
I use the stock ION rom, rooted with a few customisations. I managed to get the HERO camera working last night, working on the browser today, might have something to release (but I will need some help) later this week, depending on what the others release...
Fatal1ty - are you still there?
Jeperla - Looking forwards to version 005
If i was getting a new phone i would not get the VF one - i would go to orange and T mobile and look at what they are offering. The HTC hero looks very nice and it natively runs Rosie so why not just get that if that what you are after
remember the VF magic has even less RAM than the Magic provided by t-mobile - not too sure if that version is coming to uk
Paul
Note Rosie was not meant for a RAM shy device like the VF magic so it is going to struggle no matter what. it is a toss up between looks/functionality/speed so choose what is most important to you.
Looks = fatal1tys Rom
Speed = Ion
functionality varies depending on what you want - for me fatal1tys works so thats what i use

1) Do custom ROMs for Magic have full access to Android Market or installing apps would have to be manual after flashing new ROM?
2) How to revert original ROM? Is my understanding right that nandroid is a right tool for the job, ie. it dumps current ROM onto SD card and then allows to restore it? (just trying to glue the scattered pieces together
3) How does web browser work in various custom ROMs? I use my Magic mainly as an internet tablet for mobile browsing on the Tube or wherever, I very rarely use it for phone calls - would it be OK then to use custom ROM with some Hero features?
Hello to you all
Now I'm using ThiaiZ03D Prada version, which is fine for me. But I was wondering (...not if it blends) but if is necessary or if is good to overclock the CPU.
Is it useful, safe and/or necessary to do OC? And which is the best speed to take it to safely. On which ROM? Acura, Rushdroid, Meemo23's XPlay3D ROM or...
And what about battery life, normally it would drain faster...or not?
And which of all these ROMs made for speed is the most complete - I mean for 3D (cause for this reason I bought the phone), HDMI and all other stuffs that some people are saying that in some ROMs are not working.
Thanks for taking time to read my thread and, hopefully taking time to answer it, cause there are lots of ROMs and lots of people are getting confused of all these choices..
Thanks to all the devs for feeding us with ROMs... Maybe someone from LG would take a peek to all these and, even more, hire some of these guys.

Custom roms to be honest is all the same it's the tweaks we put into them that separate our roms from each other.. You have to try them to really make a choice. You can't just guess and say this one is better before you actually go about trying the roms.
And oc is not really needed 1ghz is just fine but if you do have overclock of 1.2 use set cpu to put it back down to 1ghz and when you game and it feels laggy bump it back up to 1.2ghz again...
All stock custom roms hdmi works no questions about it.. Only cm7 and cm7.2 roms are the ones that have no 3D function and hdmi function as of yet..
And people on here confuse them self's without actually reading and flashing a rom or either the dev makes a mistake in which case we fix it right away.
Like i said a custom rom is dependent on the users choice you have to try it to love it but before that you really can't take someone else's word for it. So go out and explorer and find what you like the best..
Thanks Meemo... at this very moment I'm downloading your XPlay 3D... I'll give it a try
GOV3 3.0.3 changelog :
GOV3 0.3
Changelog ...
*Removed existing Init.d tweaks. Added better ones in, and modified them for better execution.
*Added System_Server in xbin for better system application optimization, such as switching between them. (Present in ICS)
*Removed Media Streaming Tweaks...had to be done. Shouldn't decrease speed too much. As a result, YOUTUBE IS FIXED! (Finally.)
*Added Wi-Fi / Data nameservers. Since we're using Google Play / Gmail I've used 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 respectively. (SPEED!)
*Touchscreen resposniveness should be faster and smoother, though not sure. This isn't confirmed yet.
*Added correct WiFi/GSM tweaks. Should fly like Birdman now. (Example : ro.ril.hsxpa=5, switches between GPRS/Wi-Fi faster.)
Some small other things like updating version numbers, etc.
Important in this branch of release and lessons I have learned and others should learn too...
!!!!!! NEVER REMOVE DEFAULT.PROP OR ANY FILES LINKED TO CSC / CSC.APK!!!!!!! [This breaks the T-Mobile APN being set automatically!]
!!!!!! Stagefright tweaks [increasing the speed of streaming breaks FLAc video playback, so YouTube basically.]
Additional side note : One of the scripts ReactiveDisorder used set the CPU's govenor at "INTERACTIVE" and had it set when the screen shut off. This was bad on the battery life, so I got rid of it. What does this mean for you? : If you're not happy with the speed of your device, simply download Tegrak Overclock from Google Play which is free and set your overclock safely from there. As always, pretty much anything over 1.152GHz is NOT considered stable.
...
And other small few minute changes that I forgot to list.
Please note : This will be the final release of a Sidekick 4G ROM as from me as I will soon be moving onto the Galaxy S3 in a few months, I want any problems with the phone to stablize before buying it. I have also done various other ROMS with good results on other phones, HAWE. M835, Samsung Admire, Motorola Cliq. Farewell, and enjoy!
P.S : For all of you asking if the Sidekick's FROYO will be ported to Gingerbread, no by a longshot. Same goes for ICS. Though we are already partially using a bit of CM6, but it's not an official port and doesn't contain many of the CM branched features.
Good news! No currently known bugs exist. Please report with feedback if you encounter one.

This is it. THE BEST ROM ever. I'm not kidding. Make a NANDROID AND TEST IT!

I'll make it $10.
xtreme, you must be doing something wrong. Always wipe everything twice. once before installing, do it after installing, then install again.
and I bet 15$ this is JiN1337. oh right. cause im the last known dev in existence for the SK4G and the ROM actually turned out very good. does it matter who iam? are any of you even trying to dev a ROM? no. rpmccormick was smart enough to seek me out and so was roger, are they *****ing? no. this is the final release ever im doing. theres nothing left i need or want to do and thats why i released it here. itll be availble on androidforums for all eternity. but all bugs are fixed, and it has great battery and speed my mission is accomplished. adieu.
close enough ^__^
dont go

bcz S plus has qualcomm snapdragon Soc (easily available sources ) and our crap has novathor which has no source ...so don't expect any new update for our device...even present source builds are not bug free for i9070 .
this thing made clear many times by many devs
so don't create new thread for this thye of Qs...we have Q&A thread plus search option.
This is amazing news. Although, I'm not sure whether this is going to affect our device or not. It's not that the devs are unable to pull this off, I think it's more of a matter of the practical aspect since most people follow the natural course and update their dated hardware. Nonetheless we can just hope that our device is not forgotten.
Team Canjica not give more support for janice, so no lollipop for S Advance
Janice sources are horrible, could compile lollipop, but with many bugs

It's sad to say but it's already forgotten
I say too that our janice is forgotten...But remember this: never say never, although i think that janice can't run lollipop. We already experience lags on jb, cm.If we had 1gb ram, then was other story...but still hard to build lollipop without sources.
We won't get more performance using lollipop, we will get a slow device.
Why you really wants lollipop? Just for the look, isn't it? You can make a theme like that and that's it.
I know that is not allowed, but if anyone need that novathor sources which chinese guy posted on xda few months ago and know how to adapt them for lollipop (if is possible) tell me...i still have them in my pc and I'll never delete them.
What is the rom which is trully fast and smooth ? The answer is GIINGERBREAD. Yeah, it is outdated, but consume less ram, and that we need, free ram.

Have you tried Vanir? I use it for like 6 months now and don't even think about anythink else. Fast, no fancy colorful stuff jumping at me from every menu, good battery life, what more can you want?
In a day or two I'll also put here the kernel I use with Vanir along with my new governor, if you're interested.

I'm using first or second version of Vanir and I'm satisfied and i never updated. I installed many apps and became little slow. Gingerbread still better for ram management i think.
Why i use vanir ? Because i see that on this rom the camcorder isn't so darker like other roms, at least for me (after changing exposure). Although i record videos rarely, when i want to do it i don't want darker videos...
I'm interested in your kernel, and i think not just me
PS: i use just vanir and sami os
